I'm sad to write this because Pieology was my favorite pizza, but they have a new crust roller and the pizzas are now unacceptably small. The 7" bambino I received was about 5" and the regular 11"pizzas were about 8" and abnormally shaped. I understand the amount of crust may be the same, but with the smaller surface area it's like we aren't getting any pizza at all, especially the single-bite pieces of the bambino. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the employees were very kind and offered to remake the pizzas, but they did remake one and it was the same, so I didn't think it was worth continuing to waste time and ingredients. read more

What has happened to Pieology?!? Just ordered on DoorDash, so I overpaid to get a cardboard tasting pizza, with missing and skimpy toppings. Couldn't even eat. I have avoided going in store bc the customer service sucks. Never again. read more

Great pizza and customer service! The line moves fast and the pizza comes out quick and hot to your table. Love all the delicious toppings so you can customize your own pizza. Drinks are self serve which is fine cause it comes with free refills. The only negative is it's such a small place that the tables are so close together you feel a little cramped. read more

Brought in 6 adults and 3 children. EVERY table was dirty. They had 6 customers and 4 employees sitting in dining room. The one large table had 2 young men with Pieology shirts on sitting at it. When we asked about sitting for our large group the person said it is on you own. So we took 2 dirty tables and put them together and asked for them to be cleaned. The angry looking employee half assed wiped down the table. Bottom line, dirty, poor management with ok pizza. Too many choices in Fresno/Clovis for good pizza to come to a dirty place with poor management to get ok pizza. read more

Asked for after bake ranch "drizzle" but it looks like they vomited the ranch all over the pizza. Really destroyed the flavor of the food by how much ranch they dumped on the top. Sad that someone would do this at their job. Makes me think they hate their job. read more

We had a bad experience a month ago and decided to give them another try tonight. If you're thinking of coming here, run the other direction. We have been regulars for years but something is seriously wrong here. We have waited over an hour for an online order for 1 pizza! They are out of boxes so all the people who ordered to-go are standing around without the ability to take their pizza. They can't survive with this type of service. read more

I could never go wrong at these fast food places. Whenever I come in here I always get greeted and asked if I would like for them to change their gloves due to allergies but it was nice knowing that they will change it if I am allergic to latex glove. Which I was fine so like yeah. Just like how I rated at the other Pieology places I just love how I can get a lot of stuff with one amazing price. I always come here for their keto pizza which it is a the cauliflowers crust. Plus amazing workers and I never have any complaint. I really enjoy their rewards so 100 points get you any pizza you want and it is Free. The place is always clean and if you eat in they'll bring your pizza and also if you would like ranches and plates which it is nice. I'll always come back here and get their amazing pizzas. read more

Another Build Your Own 11" pizza place. After saying that, I think they're the best around here. It takes longer to get your custom pizza built than it does to cook it. They have lots of fresh options to choose from or you can pick one that Pieology created. I ordered the original crust. It was very thin that I didn't think that it would support the toppings on top, but somehow it did. For me, it could of been twice the size thickness and it would be perfect. So I'm docking them a star for this. The pizza itself tasted great and I was happy with it. The price for mine was $9.12, not bad. The whole staff was was friendly helpful and had a good attitude. Every request for more of a topping and there was a lot of them, was not a bother to the staff helping me. For being such a new operation, you could tell they were well trained. This is a brand new building and just opened days ago and they did a wonderful job with this store, as it looks pretty hip place. They seemed to have plenty of seats at lunch time. My bottom line...Will I go back? Most definitely, but next time for a dollar more, I will try their thicker crust. read more

I had not visited this place in a few years. I decided to treat myself. The service was horrendous. I asks for extra cheese and was informed it was policy to not add extra. I should have left at this point. Stupidly I went ahead with the order since it was already started. Upon paying, I again stated that I would have been happier if they could have added the extra cheese. The person ringing me up stated it was a $.79 up charge. I told her that I would have gladly paid this, but it wasn't even offered. Her reply was that the worker was new. At no time did she offer to redo the pizza. She had an oh well attitude. I will not return to this place. And the pizza--subpar where it had always been great. Ridiculous! No wonder the place wasn't busy like it used to be. It makes sense if this is the new level of service being provided. read more

Pieology always delivers. Checked out the Pieology in Herndon Avenue Fresno. It's great to be able to customize a personal pizza. It's was about $40 for four pizzas. Enough for three kids and two adults. The slices were gone in no time. We tried the cauliflower crust and the gluten free crust both $2.50 added to the original price of the pizza. Service was great they pizza guy making the pizza asked us if we wanted him to change his gloves each time making different pizzas. It was ok with us. I guess the don't want to cross contaminate. Definitely will be back. The restaurant was clean and we might have waited for 20 minutes for our pizzas. read more

The good is super good one of my favorite pizza places ever!!!!! The service is great and all experiences I've had were nothing but good.

Can't beat the price and taste of the create your own pizza. You can literally get every topping they offer for the same price.

Best Pieology in the area. Everytime I order from here it's consistent and the employees are so nice and helpful.

I was having such a bad day. Last days of pregnancy... I was starving and felt sick. I walked out of Pieology and dropped my pizza. (Pregnancy brain) They allowed me to go to the front and made another one for free. Made my day! Excellent customer service!! They really went above and beyond even when it was super busy!! read more

6 to 8 of us meet here almost weekly for pizza. The product & service has gotten so bad that we are going to a different restaurant for our next meeting. I was looking at the other reviews before writing mine & I see that all of my complaints have already been reported numerous times - waiting in line for 20 minutes while they make call in orders, terrible crusts since they began using the new "wringer" type machine, untrained workers -no greetings whatsoever, have no idea how to sprinkle toppings evenly over pizza so every bite of the pie has some of the toppings. Tonight was the worst - not one of the pizzas we ordered were baked correctly - ours looked like someone poured water on top - soggy from what exactly?? None of them were even HOT from the oven. It was enough for 5 people to finally say we have had it. What was interesting In reading reviews of the same complaints we have is that all the responses from management are the same -thanks for telling us, we will address it- but apparently they are just canned answers since nothing has gotten better. If you wonder why your customers are leaving you might actually read these reviews & work with your team. We can spend our money somewhere else. read more

Ordered through the app at 4:50pm for a 5:30 pick up. Picked up the pizzas at 5:30, they were out of one of the toppings I ordered but didn't ask if I wanted to replace it with something else... oh well.. got the pizzas home by 5:45. Right when I opened the box I knew the pizza was no good. It looked old like they had made it at 4:50 and let it sit until 5:30. It looked like day old pizza. It was chewy and tasted stale. It's hard to mess up pizza, but they did a good job of that. To top it off, I used my Birthday Bogo on this order so not only did I get one bad pizza, I got two. Super bummer. read more

I usually really enjoy Pieology, but was very disappointed with my experience, this time. We placed an order through the app for delivery and received an email confirmation about when the pizza would arrive. However, when it didn't, (I called about an hour after expected delivery) the restaurant told me that no one came from the delivery partner to pick it up. The restaurant did not notify me about this and I would have been charged, with no pizza. The employee also suggested I call the delivery partner, but I could not do that because I placed an order through Pieology, not the partner. I know from experience that delivery partners will not assist you if you ordered through the restaurant. I am being refunded but would have liked to be notified so I could get food delivered from another place, sooner. read more

Classic pizzas, every location is always great. Service is nice and respectful. Layout of the store is simple and easy to follow.

Pieology is such a great place, customizable pizzas to your finest! The service is friendly,

extremely slow service, waited in line for at least 20 minutes and I'm currently still in line now waiting. the store isn't busy at all, hardly any customers so there's no reason why it should be this slow. zero recommendations. read more

My wife and I like meeting here for lunch every once in a while. Pieology is definitely better then other make your own pizza places in town. Slow. Just about the best way to describe this place. Manager just cooks. Doesn't help or direct his employees to become efficient. Really wish there was a viable alternative to this place, because we would go there instead. Kids love it, but an hour waiting in-line just to order your pizza is RIDICULOUS!! Please Mr Manager, DO SOMETHING to direct and engage your employees!! This guy is the most Non-Engaged manager ever. Pizza was cooked ok, place was relatively clean and organized. The soda machine spit ice onto the slippery floor. Corporate need to visit and clean up the management issue STAT. Edit 55 mins from door to order. Unbelievable!! Manager hasn't said 2 words to anyone behind the counter read more

Always quick and just what I ordered this place never disappoints except when there closed.

Takes the FAST out of fast food. They had at least 10 employees that you could see yet with people out the door only had two people Working the line. And they were "out" of many toppings and specialty crusts. Disappointed read more

I like Pieology but last time we were there they made us wait ten minutes or so. Two people working, one guy was making two pizzas for someone and a girl with blue hair was standing around. Really disappointing. Ordered 2 pizzas and dessert online. It took a long time for the pizza to come out, which I can understand due to the day. But my husband's pizza was burnt, and mine had a floppy crust with doughy consistency (Artisan thin crust). They also didn't give us the brownies we ordered. We tried to call, but after several attempts of it just ringing, gave up. This place sucks. Go to Blaze instead. Or anywhere, really. read more

customer service was excellent. Made me feel welcomed. and the new dough was delicious

Ok so I really like the BYO concept, you get a decent size pizza for the price, but for some reason they refuse to put extra pepperoni on the pizza. I mean you can ask, and they well say ok, but they kinda just don't do it. I have even asked multiple times at both locations, and it's like they just won't do it. Minor annoyance, but otherwise this is a great place. read more

Good, clean store. Fast service. The topping selection is great and the crust options are good.

For some reason I like the Friant location just a little more, but this is good too. It's smaller than the Friant location. I tried the cauliflower crust today for 2.50 extra. It was OK. Unfortunately the cauliflower crust is so thin, it was burned on the edges and so overall the flavor was not very great. Not sure if there's a way they can get the edges to not burn, but I wouldn't get it again as it was. We got the Ooey Gooey Cheese Bread since I joined their rewards program for free, and it was not bad. It was a lot of bread and cheese though, and between the two of us we couldn't finish it before we tired of it. Very fluffy glutinous bread with a bit of flavor that tasted like yeast lol, and ooey and gooey cheesy, and came with some red sauce. It also came out pretty hot, and I burned my mouth on the top of the cheese. So be careful before you chew! They've also got a new "deep dish" crust option, as well as a "Tuesday date night" deal, and on Wednesdays kids eat free. read more

I love the cauliflower crust. They also have a collection of toppings. It's a go-to for my family.
