My soon-to-be wife and myself found this place on Yelp and decided to make a stop while we were staying at the Mosiac Beach Resort in Ravenna. Both of us being Mexican can appreciate Mexican food when we see it. This location has an authentic Mexican feel to it with some ceramic tile tables and some old portraits of Mexican historic figures. We had the quesadilla with jalapenos and jalapenos poppers (we were trying to get a wide selection of their food since we would be in Ravenna for a few more days. Both the quesadillas and the jalapenos were very tasty and resembled closely what we might see in food stands through out Mexico. After our appetizers we moved on to the Chorizo plate and Fajitas de Cancun, The Chorizo was cooked and presented different than any style I have seen before, most likely due to the rarity of getting Chorizo in Italy but was still pretty good. While the Fajitas de Cancun were pretty good, grilled steak cuts with sautéed peppers and onions, the overall meal was pretty close to something I would have back either in the U.S.A or Mexico. Overall the food was pretty good and I would recommend most plates, they also had pictures of most of the dishes, which can be helpful for someone who has not had much Mexican food. The last thing I really liked was the owner, the lady working the front desk was very kind and welcoming, she was very concerned about whether we liked her food and the quality of her establishment. I would highly recommend this location as it's a stone throw away from many tourist attractions in Ravenna and provides quality food.

Review for Ebys Bar-…read more WHAT A FUN SPOT AND CONCEPT!! I've heard of Ebys and the notorious owner since I studied abroad in 2019. After recently returning to Florence I had the opportunity to give this bar a try and was blown away by the nightlife and attention to detail with each shot. There are 3 components to Ebys- the Latin food bar across the street, the Ebys bar, and the shot window located near the bar and outdoor seating. There is usually a long line while everyone waits for the owner to hand-craft a specialty shot. We ordered the Mexicano shot and were blown away by his attention to detail. Just when we thought it was over, he pulled out an additional ingredient. There's almost a layer of comedy to how elaborate these shots are. He also explained to us that before taking the shots we have to do a little bow, bite the apple, and then take the shot. So fun! Definitely one of a kind.
