They did the MOST SLOPPY JOB I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! I had them come in for a fix job of some other company that got away with money they did not deserve BUT!!! That OTHER company did Excellent compared to this one! Unbelievable, I know, but VERY TRUE! (LIKE I SAID..I HAVE PICTURES More than 200 of them) They were very nice in the beginning until I saw what damage they did to my bathtub, shower rod, all my cabinets in EVERY Room have paint on them, Colors on Colors Very noticeable ! Some places that were painted supposedly 2 coats, you still see the wood where they missed it!! If you had (in my opinion) done 2 coats you would have seen it the 2nd time!! Runs, drips of paint everywhere. When We called to have them fix the issues, they said they would but!!! Not til end of August.. They would not come out to see the depth of my complaints! I asked about coming out on a weekend, Nope they are working 7 days a week! I was told. Found more problems, we Called and left messages and No return calls until I called and had to be firm and say that I was going to take it to the next level (which the Wife called within 10 minutes) Telling me I was rude for saying that I believe that they were not going to come back and finish this mess because they got paid in full for an incomplete Job! Yess I am furious this is my home! She told me to be quiet and that I was going to hear her 1st and then she would let me talk!! Wow! But, it got heated because I went to give my disabled son a bath and found out that paint was all over/in tub! He has a gtube for feeding and those paint chips could have gotten in his button or the hole around it and end up in his stomach!! She did NOT care At ALL! I scrubbed and scrubbed and it still is not all out and I have to hold my child down (Due to all the Trauma he has had with his button from doctors) to put a patch Over his gtube to make sure what I couldn't get out with magic eraser and cleaner, would not get to his button much less in Stomach! RIDULOUS! TO TOP IT OFF.... They painted things like door stoppers, light fixtures and told me that they did me a favor due to Rust on them, which we were changing All fixtures anyway after the painters were done!! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED AND VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE WHOLE THING!!! I HOPE THAT EVERYONE READS THIS BEFORE LETTING THEM COME TO YOUR HOME! I could go on and on (you think I already have) But This is a nightmare that I have to look at everyday until fixed!

I hired Jerel Hinch as a contractor for construction of an enclosed deck under a signed agreement…read more This review is based on my experience with the contract, deposit payment, and non-repayment of my $1,490 deposit after the contract was terminated and no work was completed. On April 2-3, I paid a $1,490 deposit (30% of the total contract price) after signing a contract for deck construction. Ive since have had to: * Contact law enforcement to file a report * Submit a complaint related to the contractor conduct * Begin small claims court proceedings (approximately $300 in filing costs) * Prepare to travel out of county (about an hour each way) for court proceedings, as the contractor operates from a different county On April 5, the contract for the deck construction was terminated after it became clear that important structural issues were not included in the original scope of work. A revised contract was later provided at a significantly higher price, which I declined. After termination, Jerel Hinch agreed in writing to refund the $1,490 deposit. A repayment schedule was set for $745 on April 12 and $745 on April 21. (See Shortly after agreeing, he stated that the messages were sent in error and that he did not intend to agree to those terms. He then stated he would repay the full amount by April 27. No refund has been received as of that date. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Jerel Hinch as a deck contractor. My experience involved a signed contract, a substantial deposit, termination of work due to scope issues, and failure to return funds despite written refund agreements. I would only consider updating this review if the deposit is fully refunded.
