Wow‼ Me and my wife just tried their pizza during our first trip to Montana. This was by far one of the best NY style pizza we've ever had. The crust was perfectly cooked, the toppings were fresh and even more impressive was their base marinara sauce. This will be our go to spot whenever we're in town. MUST HAVE fr fr read more

Giant delicious pizza! Ordered some pie hole to the hotel in my final night in town. For $25 pm uber eats which means it's way less in person I got the giant pie you see in pics. Delicious. read more

I appreciate the convenience of ordering pizza by the slice and their extended hours. They offer a good variety, including many traditional offerings and four daily specials on a rotation. The chicken on one of my pizzas was a little dry. It had probably been sitting in the warmer a little too long. The bathrooms were not stocked with paper towels. read more

No longer sells vegan pizza. Slightly dirty inside. Pizza was thin crust and crunchy.

Great Pizza especially late at night! We've been a few times and haven't been disappointed. Strange combinations that work well with each other for some of the daily slices. Highly recommend! read more

So delicious! We tried the Margherita pizza, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I would definitely order it again.

It is not as good as it used to be. It's still the pizza that I order because there's not that many other options in Missoula, and I know the ingredients are gonna be quality but a lot of times the crust is floppy. I think quest the volume they do. It's hard to get a really great pizza every time. read more

Thank God for late-night pizza when my belly got nothing but beer in it and my heart ain't got nothing but dancing in it. Don't forget a side of marinara and spicy ranch! read more

Hey hey hey, what can I say??? Late night walking, downtown Missoula, needed a bit of food. Came across the Pie Hole. And these guys are slinging the pie until 3 am. So good! Giant slices of pepperoni pie, hit the spot. It was fast service and the staff really knew their role. So good! Yum yum yum! Went to bed full, woke up full. If you are ever stumbling around, late at night, in Missoula MT, give the pie hole a shot, you'll be happy you did! read more

The late night availability is a big seller when no one else is open. The thin crust is what I like. I have mixed reviews because my husband finds the pizza "Oily" It is worth a try or Slice read more

I get it, they are open after bars closing and it's not Taco Bell. BUT COME ONNNN. Always busy but yet the pizza always looks old and cold. Pizza by the slice that they pile on a plate and place in the oven to heat back up while you pay. Too many choices for selling by the slice I think, have the basics and serve it fresh and hot. read more

I love the concept of pizza by the slice but when we got our slice it was cold and mushy. I understand having to bake a pie and it sits until someone orders a slice, but maybe throw the slice in the oven and warm/crisp it up. Service was efficient but none of the employees seemed like they wanted to be there. The ambiance was very "grumpy". read more

While in Missoula, I had a few friends suggest some pizza spots. One spot they told me to check out was Pie Hole. First off, I love the name. I ordered a drunk candy pizza. It was a pretty good pie. The pizza is pretty thin, so if you like thicker pizzas, this might not be your cup of tea. I ordered mine for delivery, so the pie wasn't very hot when I got it. I would like to try a fresh one at the store. I believe that would make it a 5 or closer to it. Still worth a check for sure. read more

Great hours, pretty good pizza, not that cheap. Got the potato, bacon pizza the other night. The first time I had it, it blew my socks off. Loved it. This time it was just ok. I may have pumped it up in my head too much. We also got the cheesy garlic bread (wouldn't get that again). The ranch and spicy ranch were great. Big fan of sauces but the pizza was a bit of a let down. The prices were also a bit high. $25-$27 for a large pizza seems excessive, but seems to be the going rate for pizza joints around here. Will definitely have it again. Likely late night (that's when it tastes the best). read more

I ordered through pie hole on door dash then after placing an order it said that it would have to be picked up, I called the store to tell them I wouldnt be able to drive to town. They told me no problem they would cancel the order but they still charged me 50$ for the pizza I did not receive and it says no refund issued. Hope nobody else gets scammed on this app. read more

I'm currently on night #3 of a cross-country trek on I-90, which has landed me in Missoula, MT. As I rolled into town just before midnight, the growling in my stomach had me surveying the landscape for food. The only option I was seeing that still looked open (on a Saturday night) was a Denny's. I'd rather not eat than roll the dice on a rural Denny's after midnight. As I checked into my hotel, someone in the lobby mentioned a pizza place downtown called Pie Hole. A local place open until 3 AM? Sold. These folks do NY style pizza. They mainly seem to cater to the by-the-slice crowd, but they also definitely do some solid whole-pizza takeout business. Lots of topping options, neat atmosphere, clean place, right in the heart of town. If, like me, you're not there just for a slice or two, note that their 19" pizzas are huge, and they ain't cheap, but they're fantastic. Got a pepperoni and mushroom. I'm a pizza obsessive, of all styles, and this is legit great NY pizza. I look forward to snacking on this beast on the last 500-mile leg of my trip tomorrow. Oh, and the spicy ranch dip won't set your world ablaze, but it definitely kicks. Bonus points: Staff is super chill, prompt, and friendly. A rare combo for the graveyard shift. If you're visiting Missoula and a meal is on your itinerary, Pie Hole is very much worth your time. read more

Our Journey brought us into Missoula Montana and several reviews both yelp and Youtube said you gotta check out the Pie hole, so we did. The staff was super friendly, we had questions they had answers we had concerns they addressed them with a smile. My wife's take on the food : This pizza is super delicious the sauce is really even flavored but simple so the toppings do can do all the talking. The crust is nice and thin, I do wish it was a bit more yeasty but I really love yeasty crust. However, the only issue we thought of might be the price was just a tad high. My take: The pizza had great flavor the size was eye popping the way the pizza slice can easily fold over when you pull it was awesome. My only thought would be as well the cost, maybe its due to inflation just seemed a tad high. However, I would definitely say give this a try. read more

Downtown Missoula on a holiday weekend was empty and Pie Hole was one of the few places open. With a good TOKiMONSTA tune playing as I entered, the vibe and appearance of Pie Hole looked very NYC below 14th Street or Brooklyn. I quickly felt at home. The basic pizzas on display surprised me because the NYC vibe carried through to the slices. The ingredients aren't sophisticated but I happily ate the seriously respectable thin slices. The music continued to be great for the almost hour that I was here so add it all up and I'm a fan of the Pie Hole experience. read more

I generally enjoy a thicker crust. Luckily, I I joined some work mates for lunch here. Had a couple of slices with pineapples and bacon. One must adventure. Mustn't they? Accompanying my slices was a Mexican Coke. Perfect combination honestly, how could you not drink Coca-Cola when you're having pizza? Regardless if you're a Pepsi person or not. The kind human being who and fulfill, our orders was nothing short of pleasant and dare I say delightful. I look forward to more slices. I only wish, but I had had a sticker to add to the plethora already there. The restaurant aesthetic along with it teams attitude, provide an ambience of DIY punk rock art. It's inviting! read more

Had to make an emergency trip to Missoula from Richland WA. Our son was in a car accident. We had gotten into town around midnight, and found this place to eat! Will make a trip under better circumstances and will definitely stop there to eat! read more

We ordered a whole pie from Pie Hole yesterday. The crust was burnt to the point of being inedible. The weird part was, the top of the pizza was fine. Their oven temps are all out of whack. Plus the fact they were willing to serve me a whole pie this burnt, shows lack of quality control. Unacceptable. read more

I used to be on "Team Bridge Pizza" when it came to the best pepperoni pie in Missoula. Good Food store came in a close second if I happened to be shopping and needed a pizza fix. But, oh how I've changed my tune! Piehole, albeit a strange name, is hands down the absolute best place in town for your pepperoni slice fix. They make all kinds of pies but I'm a traditional sort of gal Piehole is even better than the overrated, overpriced Biga Pizza. And Piehole is open 7 days a week, early to very late! Super friendly staff, too! If you haven't tried it, you really need to. You won't be disappointed! read more
