Today I was off work and I had an urge to go to Pie Five for lunch. The problem I faced was that I am from Moore so it's a long jaunt. The Moore location closed a few years back, and then so did the Yukon location, so off to Edmond I went. Look I'm only giving this place 2 stars because the cheese in my wife's salad had mold on it..Like check your ingredients people. They were hard to understand in the first place at a freaking pizza place of all places. Everything else we ordered as a family was fine. Becoming my husband's favorite "grab a quick bite" place. It's like having a "make your own pizza night with many more options to satisfy everyone's tastes and health needs, i.e. gluten free & cauliflower crusts, variety of protein, fresh vegetarian & halal topping choices, etc. The stuffed crust is better than any big pizza chain and cheaper. The staff at the one close to our house (Covell & Kelly-Edmond) are very friendly and helpful! Overall, a hit and miss experience. The pizzas tasted great and were well prepared. Those making the pizza put an appropriate amount of toppings that were evenly distributed. When ready, they were placed on the counter with no notification to the customer so they just kinda sat there for a few minutes. In finding a place to sit, it was immediately apparent that none of the tables had been cleaned nor swept under the seats and chairs, with plenty of discarded food and napkins about the area. I wiped and cleaned off a table myself. The drink area was not cleaned and poorly maintained as there was puddles of water(?) under the drink machine leaking on the floor with several dirty napkins and wash rags in the area. The plastic knives were empty with only a few forks. When I asked for the knives to be restocked, they were quickly, but not other maintenance for the area performed. I was surprised the employee would not have at least restocked the forks at a minimum. This was after lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy. Prior to leaving, my wife went to use the restroom and said it was also not well maintained as the trash can was overflowing and the floor was in a desperate need of being mopped. Overall, the food was good, but not a good dining experience. I'll try the location in Moore next time I'm in the part of town. read more

Was a weekly stop.....before Covid. Recently moved back and started coming again! Supposed to be under new management. Jason, the predecessor was awesome. I've went here a couple of times and their pizzas are really good. They have some cinnamon sticks that are a nice compliment as well! They also seemed to be really helpful and had some good recommendations, especially my first couple times here. A small family runs this place and you can tell how much they care, the effort really shows! I will be coming here again and definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

Five stars are not enough. They are by far the best pizza place we've been to in a long time. It was training day. The manager seemed to really care about his employees. He took a lot of time with the 2 new kids. He even showed them the pros and cons of putting you fingers in the dough machine. (He did, seriously). They seemed really glad to be there and should do really well. The ingredients were fresh. There was a good selection of toppings, cheese and crust. For quick pizza, this is the place to go. The restaurant was clean and well laid out. It was easy to find everything. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and plenty of it. The pizza came hot out of the oven and picture perfect. If you want delicious crispy thin crust, this is the place to go. Wood fired pizza is amazing here. My boyfriend and I share the kid size thin crust pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. It's so good!!! You can really taste the flavor of the crust and if you want a snack or a small meal the kids sized pizza is the perfect size. I had my doubts about sharing a kids size pizza, because I'm a pig, but the size was actually big enough to satisfy my craving of pizza! Who doesn't love a good pizza? I truly wanted to love this place, but found that I didn't enjoy the marinara base on the pizza. I ordered a mushroom and olive pizza and got very minimal toppings for an already bare pizza. My son got the pepperoni pizza and it wasn't much better in terms of toppings. For the price, you'd expect better. Service was fast and the staff were friendly, but overall we will have to pass on this place next time. read more

Excellent pizza! Unbelievable it took 5 minutes or less. I went thru the drive through , the person taking the order helped me as it was my first time there. I wondered how ordering pizza through a drive thru would work. No kidding, by the time I paid, my pizza was ready in under 5 minutes AND it was one of the best pizza I have ever had. Never EVER leave the cash register -- especially during the dinner rush. Look at the photo. Nobody at the cash register. Cooked pizzas being placed on top of the sneeze guard (and elsewhere when they eventually ran out of room). Pizzas getting COLD on the sneeze guard while we all wait to pay. The manager walked away from the cash register for 20 minutes to help one customer -- and ignored 30 other customers in the process. He should have put one of his other employees on the cash register when he walked away. Customers abandoned their pizzas and left the store -- the wait was much too long. This place was a good option when we have a picky family with dietary restrictions. We learned that we couldn't order a kids gluten free pizza so my 6 year old had a whole individual pizza. The ordering process was very simple. I told them what we wanted and they made it. Then I watched my pizza just sit there. Eventually they got cut, but I still waited to pay... seems to me that, that is the most important part; on the business end of it. The cashier came out of the kitchen area and asked me to recount what was ordered. 3 regular pizzas, 1 gluten free pizza, and breadsticks I hoped that this recollection was enough. It was. Then we waited for our gluten free pizza. I noticed that they took great care to use separate tools and served in a pizza box. I appreciated that. When we go to the table, the lunch rush was in full swing and the line was almost to the door. Everyone began to eat and our pizzas were good. My only complaint on my pizza was that the chicken pieces were shredded and minimal. Once my daughter took a bite of her gluten free pizza, she immediately hated it. To me it looked raw. She ended up eating the toppings and leaving the crust. For an upcharge of $2, I expect it to be cooked to perfection. It was not. Attached is a photo of the dough, with no toppings.
