two pizzas on a table

Lovely and quiet environment. Rapid customer service. Friendly workers. Great menu to choose from. Had pick this spot for Valentine's Day but we were a little bit late, got caught up in the snow storm that day. But we totally going back when I'm back in town.

my customized pizza: tomato sauce and olive oil, mozzarella, extra ham, extra mushrooms, black olives!

I call this place the Chipotle of pizzas because you can pick and choose what you want, and how much of it. I've only been here a handful of times, but each time I was presented with the best customer service from the employees. I know many of my friends like to choose items from the menu, but I like to create my own pizza. The few times I went, the staff was pretty humorous. I'm a huge fan of mushrooms and ham, so I told them to just keep stacking those two items until I told them to stop. They did it without hesitation and a smile, sprinkling on little bits so that the pizza would still look appealing. It was an overwhelming amount of toppings; to the point that the person helping me was concerned that the pizza dough would not thoroughly cook. With that being said, I know personally that the employees here will allow you to put on as much and as many different types of toppings as you please. The service is quick and efficient while you are able to watch your pizza go from a block of dough to perfection. The cashier was also friendly and the location was extremely clean (compared to many other pizza locations in the metroplex). 5/5, definitely try it out if you're ever around the College Park area. The next isn't for miles!

Fiesta pizza(the yellow things are eggs).

The set up is like this, the staff works behind the counter to make your pizza while you stand on the other side of the small plexiglass-like and tell them that you want more onions and bacon bits on your own custom pie. Or you can select one of their specialty pies (6.49) and salads they offer but you can also switch out ingredients. There are breakfast pizzas that run about 4.99 but if you come before 11am, they are half price (no kidding). The pies are around ~9 inches in diameter. It came out nice and hot (crust was crunchy and thin). A bit expensive but hey, it's UTA.

Neat concept. Just like subway but with pizza. Make your own pizza. Taste good too. Price is decent if you get a water to drink.

I think the pizza was not cooked properly. Maybe a little too rushed. All the ingredients literally fell off the pizza when I picked it up

Young, high-energy staff and everybody was friendly. I had an adorable little waitress who was possibly high as a kite. But flower high, not the bad stuff. Honestly, it worked in everybody's favor. She was upbeat, extremely polite, and got my order right. I'm happy. The menu is one of those long double-sided laminated things with probably 50+ breakfast choices. Everybody should be able to find something. Prices looked to range around $10-17 per entrée, and the portions were solid. They also had a bunch of turkey and chicken sausage options for non-pork eaters like myself. I ordered the chicken fried steak with hash browns, scrambled cheese eggs with onions mixed into the eggs and hash browns, plus two pancakes. Around $15. Pardon the food pics. I forgot to take them until I had already loaded everything up with every sauce known to man: ketchup, hot sauce, gravy, syrup... probably a few others. I definitely recommend this place. A gem.

Located in Arlington, the restaurant is divided in 2 sections and the place has quite a casual and local vibe We, a party of 5 were immediately seated and the server aptly took our order. As we were famished, we ordered..a lot: -Mazza Plate -Falafel -Fries -Gyro Special Plate -2 Chicken Shawarma(Bank Special) plate (comes with Rice, Hummus, Tzatziki sauce and Pita) -Falafel Plate - Gyro Sandwich Dessert: -Baklava -Burma Since we love spicy, we asked for our food to be spiced up. 5-10 mins later, the food began to arrive. First impression was the portion size was huge. At the onset we knew we ordered too much. The Mazza plate was amazing with assortment of Middle-Eastern appetizers i.e. hummus, babaganoush, tabouli salad, dolmas, with kalamata olives and pita. We absolutely loved the dimas and the hummus and pita bread was fresh. The Shawarma plates were pretty decent and the chicken and gyro meats were well cooked and seasoned, however the spicy sauce they use was a bit more on the tangy side than on spicy side. Which was a let down. Falafels we crunchy and were pretty decent. The fries however were huge let down. They were too oily and the taste of overused oil was pretty evident. The best part for us were the desserts. The Baklava was great but the Burma blew us away. The roasted Cashes and angel hair with honey was truly delicious. To Foodies: This is quite a famous place for middle easter food, main reason being it was covered by The food network. Do try their Shawarma Plate , especially Gyro plate, it is pretty awesome. Also the quantity is good. However, I would recommend to stay away from fries or be careful of deep fried items. Do try the desserts, you'll fall in love. Overall, it is a good place but I have had much better. May be the standards have gone down a bit over the years. To Management: You have a wonderful staff, good location and the food is pretty decent..However I'd recommened to keep a check on your oil used for deep fried stuff. The fries were a huge let down. One bite and i frlt that bad taste of oil at the back of my throat. Also please revamp your spicy sauce a bit. Too much vinegar. Overall Rating: 6.5/10 Signing off Rahul V.S. aka CanIndian Foodie

I loved it! I say…read more"I" as my wife wasn't as big a fan of the food as I was. We had reservations in a busy Saturday night and were seated at a comfortable 2-top. They were about full when we arrived. Not so much when we left. While I thought there was a game tonight - it's the Eagles in concert at one of the nearby stadiums. Because it was packed when we arrived, the space was fairly loud. Cheyenne was our server and she did great. She knew the menu well and made some suggestions. We had already read the Yelp reviews and sort of knew what we wanted. Two of us shared: - Margarita rocks - Pan con Tomate - Crispy Pork - Jerk Chicken Paella The Pan con Tomate was amazing. Really cool presentation too. The Crispy Pork was real nice. A bit dry due to making it crispy. Really meaty too. The Jerk Chicken Paella was great. Cheyenne told us the jerk seasoning wasn't very spicy. She was right. I would have liked it spicier though but understand the decision to appeal to a broader section of diners. The socarrat was amazing. They make the paella in a small (8"?) cast iron skillet. It made for a perfect caramelization of the rice (socarrat). The dish had jerk seasoned chicken thighs and vegetables. Yum! I would have loved to have the Coconut Cake. But we were full and it was $22. We'll come back to Cafe Americana and try other dishes and the cake!

First of all the space is very pretty and cozy. The dining room is long and narrow but didn't feel cramped at all. Or server JoJo was with us quickly and was beyond charming. She immediately gave recommendations for each area in the menu and when we were ordering drinks she even suggested different things based on our initial preference. For example, one of my friends asked about a whiskey sour and she recommended one of their pisco drinks instead and it was delicious! We got the yucca, dates, and lamb skewers as appetizers and didn't have a single crumb behind. Well balanced flavor with unique touches that we all appreciated. For entrees two of us ordered the lomo saltado which came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, they had sold out of the duck when my bf asked for it so they brought him a drink on the house to make up for it. He changed his order to the salmon and loved it. I ordered the paella and sadly that did take waaay too long to come out. By the time they finally brought it to me everyone else was done eating so I just asked for a to-go box. The server did apologize and brought me a drink on the house but it would've been nice to know ahead of time that the dish would take so long to prepare, because I would've chosen something else so I could eat with everyone. All in all it was great and I'll definitely come back. Hopefully I make it in before the duck is sold out next time!

I had let the initial quote expire because wedding planning is not my strong suit and Nancy was so great helping me get it sorted out. We set up a tasting which is held in the shop with Monte. He works really hard making cakes all day and we appreciated him taking his time personally to do a tasting. Some shops just send you samples and call it a day. We chatted about horror movies and sweet treats and it was great. We ended up choosing Monte's favorite which was an almond cake with a raspberry filling and it was a huge hit. Some of my guests who I would consider desert connoisseur's were particularly impressed. Side note: I really liked the Mexican Chocolate and Caramel cake as well but the final choice was left up to my groom. When discussing the look of the cake we let Monte know we were having a moody wedding and the florist would provide flowers. He suggested some black marbling along the bottom to glam it up and it turned out perfect. Unfortunately I was not on site for delivery so I couldn't tell him in person how amazing it was but I was truly blown away with how it turned out.
