If you want savory pie or sweet pie and you want a cocktail to tickle your fancy this place will do you nicely. The location is convenient and in a nice spot on the main drag in downtown Snohomish. The drinks are high end bar drinks and the pies are savory and sweet whichever you prefer or one of each. As long as you like pie, I don't think you can go wrong with any choice. Whether it's live music or the playlist music it is just to darn loud! Please have some sense of respect for your customers hearing and lower the volume. The pies here are pure excellence! Those people Have done and amazing job with this place. The sever I've is wonderful. Food was top notch and worth every penny. The side salad that comes with your pie is great and the dressing is a perfect basalmic. Where they are missing the mark; Drinks. They state they have craft cocktails and the do, but they are just off. Both Manhattan style drinks play to a bitter note, with either Campari or Noccino, which I love...but they don't work. The ratios are wrong, they are not balanced and just didn't work for me. When I asked for a regular Manhattan as a second drink, the vermouth seemed cheap and overbearing. They also seemed to not know how to make one when I asked. They serve drinks with a crappy maraschino cherry. I would expect a craft cocktail to have a more decent quality cherry for the price. read more

If you are wondering if a pie is what you want for lunch or dinner, just stop thinking about it and do it. We had one other best meals we have had in a long time and we will be back. I had the shepherds pie and my wife had the chicken pie and both came with a fresh and tasty salad next to a piping hot slab of pie. This crust melts in your mouth and both were packed with flavor. I appreciate that the shepherds pie was not just potatoes. It was so well balanced and so delicious. My wife ordered a piece of cherry pie for dessert, and Holy moly, that was the best slice of cherry pie we have ate in years. Absolutely jam packed with delicious cherries, flaky, melt in your mouth crust and a scoop of decadent vanilla ice cream alongside. The service was fantastic, from the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. If I lived in Snohomish, this would be my Cheers. Visited on a wet & cold Saturday afternoon. The Dive Bar was cozy and we were able to sit at a table immediately. The service was great, no complaints there. I gave this restaurant a two star review because of the quality and freshness of the pies. I was disappointed!! Both the pie slices I ordered were a mushy mess . Could the pies slices have been microwaved just before serving? The crust of both pies that I ordered were soggy and broke up easily with very little flavor. The chicken pie filling was pasty and overcooked. The apple pie was overcooked as well. Just not my cup of tea. However, and sadly, my hot cup of tea was the only item I ordered that I enjoyed. read more

Menu is simple. Chicken pot pie was meh, with some at best nontraditional ingredients and at worst abominations : green beans, Lima beans and CORN in chicken pot pie? Brooooo. Crust, which should be the crowning glory of pot pie, was lackluster and sandy-crumbly. Decor is fine: hipster rugged modern. Ambience is loud but it was full so that's to be expected. At 8pm I asked for a hot coffee cocktail bc it was 35F outside. They don't have decaf. At 8pm when many folks, not just those of us who have medical conditions and can't have caffeine, may not want caffeine, they can't be bothered to brew a pot of decaf. Hubs said "maybe they don't have decaf?" Well they should. It's freezing out, people want hot drinks, and not all of us want caffeine in our hot drinks at night. I ordered a hot toddy instead, which tasted like hot, sour, whiskey water that they passed a jar of honey over to drop in a couple molecules of sweetness from the drips on the outside of the jar. Really couldn't pick up the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves or honey. Also? All the salads come with shredded beets. Now I get that it's going for a British vibe with the pot pies and "beetroot" salad, but beets are one of those veg you either love or hate. And I happen to hate 'em. Perhaps they could stretch a bit and offer one other salad? It also might've been nice to get a knife to scoop my beet laden salad against on my fork, or a spoon to stir what appeared to be three or four specks of spices at the bottom of my drink, but alas; all we had were forks. Overall: didn't hate it but won't be going out of my way to come back. Like, wouldn't turn the corner to go back, wouldn't even veer left at a gentle Y to go back. But maybe if it was directly in front of me and I was starving I'd stop in. I'll just make sure it's summer so I don't care about the crappy hot drink options. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was totally fine. Service was good, he was courteous and kind. When he asked how it was and I said "it was fine" he seemed a little crestfallen. Holy smokes this place is amazing. The funky Twin Peaks inspired decor really sets the mood from the minute you walk in. They have a great beer and drink menu and the pies are AMAZING. We ordered a slice of shepard's pie along with coconut and banana cream slices and everything was delicious. The shepard's pie had cheese mixed in with the mashed potatoes on top, the bananas in the banana cream were the perfect texture, even the beet salad served with the savory pie was fantastic. We went on a Friday night around 5:30.pm. we each got a different savory pie, I had Thanksgiving (really tasted like it) and my son had Shepard pie, while his girlfriend had steak. Tried all three they were delicious. I liked mine the best Also had lavender lemonade with vodka. Could taste the lavender but not so much the lemonade. Wow. Not sure which pie I enjoyed more, the Sheppard's, or the Banana Bourbon! The Sheppard's pie crust was light, flavorful, and accompanied by a delicious fresh mix of field greens salad. Loved the concept and came here with a friend for a drink and a pie. As a vegetarian, I was hopeful that at least one option would be meatless, or a t least the quiche special, but no. Every option was meat, even the quiche had bacon, and the server told us that pork products are used in the crust of even the sweet pies. Disappointing to say the least... I've been a Pie Bar fan for a very long time, so when I heard Alyssa had opened a new place up in Snohomish, I immediately headed up. For dessert they were unfortunately out of our first choices, so we got our second choices: the cookies & cream and the chocolate bourbon pecan. Sooo good! If you've ever had a grocery store pie and thought "oh, this is nice," do yourself a favor and get a slice of fresh home made pie at the Pie Dive Bar. I've been following the Pie Bar since they started in Capitol Hill, and I have never had a disappointing slice. The Humble Crumble is my favorite, but they were out of it when I went. I also had a strawberry margarita. Perfection! I'm sad they didn't have the pie inspired cocktails like they do in Ballard, but they still have a nice selection.
