I jumped on Yelp to find a location with good reviews and narrowed it down to Hooper Camera. I called them first to make sure that an appointment wasn't required, no appointment needed. It was fun, fast and easy; the young man behind the counter got me handled in no time and knew all of the required specifics for a USA passport. He did inform me that they do process non USA passport photos, the photo requirements are often different; I suggest calling ahead to make sure the right person is there to take those photos. Beyond being helpful, she was also so fun to talk to. Also showed me a cool example of what deteriorated old film looks like, which I kinda geeked out over. It definitely reminded me of the "good ol' days" pre-covid when customer service & kindness was easier to find. Definitely gonna be coming back soon for some other photography needs, so great finding a local shop like this! They have a great collection of anything you'd need.

The lady there held the camera entirely too close to my face, didn't count down before taking the pic, had terrible lighting - all of which resulted in the worst mugshot I've seen. Simi Valley Photo Labs were just as fast as Walgreens but the results are those of a professional.
