The store carries Brighton jewelry, candles, and other gifts, especially during the holidays. They have a beautiful collection of handbags and wallets, even hats. Today when I went to Kixx, I was excited to be looking for an outfit to wear to a family wedding . My friend and I were not welcomed or apparently noticed when we entered. The only other costumer in the store was receiving stellar customer service - attention, praise and enthusiasm - from all three store employees. I was there for over 30 minutes. During that time, I was essentially left to my own devices to search out and try on clothing options. I received no assistance unless I asked a specific question. I felt disregarded. I did eventually find a blouse and jacket that I really liked. However, I did have to pause and give serious consideration as to whether I wanted to spend my money where I was clearly not appreciated as a customer. I decided to go ahead with my $200 purchase, but did not feel at all good about it. What was intended to be a fun shopping experience ended as a disappointment. I will not return to Kixx and would not recommend them to anyone.

I should have known better since Ashland has lots of great dining spots! I did a search for any decent clothing stores around ashland and medford, and was happy to find Summit and Fields! I was nicely greeted by Chris and he helped me out with my situation. The store carries high quality men's and women's clothing and accessories, most of which are made in the good old U.S.A. Chris was attentive to my needs and I appreciated the fact he was focusing on what I needed, not trying to force sell me anything he can in the store. I ended up buying a really nice 4th of july inspired button down shirt, some hair products, soap and candles, and an amazing filson leather belt that's made in seattle! I am glad i found this spot. This is definitely a unique spot like no other in the area., and the service is top notch. Definitely not rogue valley mall type of retailer!

To respond to what you said regarding my previous review: To…read moresay I'm appalled by such a response is an understatement, and a testament to your true character and integrity of your business. You not only confirmed my original impression of La Strada, but actually lowered it and I will make sure to share your response with my friends. Also, don't push your "sale" merchandise on someone just so you can clear out your inventory...it makes you look desperate and unprofessional. ******************** And since you decided to DELETE your original response I decided to post it.
