There is a complete dearth of good men's fashion in the Rogue Valley and this little gem always comes through. I've been shopping with Chris since 2014 when he first opened at his old location and his eye and range of choices continue to improve. An important contributor to Ashland's style profile!

I spent the 4th of July weekend in Ashland and quickly realized I overpacked on tank tops and…read moreshorts, and under packed on anything decent to wear for dinner. I should have known better since Ashland has lots of great dining spots! I did a search for any decent clothing stores around ashland and medford, and was happy to find Summit and Fields! I was nicely greeted by Chris and he helped me out with my situation. The store carries high quality men's and women's clothing and accessories, most of which are made in the good old U.S.A. Chris was attentive to my needs and I appreciated the fact he was focusing on what I needed, not trying to force sell me anything he can in the store. I ended up buying a really nice 4th of july inspired button down shirt, some hair products, soap and candles, and an amazing filson leather belt that's made in seattle! I am glad i found this spot. This is definitely a unique spot like no other in the area., and the service is top notch. Definitely not rogue valley mall type of retailer!

This is my new first stop when I feel I'm needing something new (or, at least, new to me)…read more I don't write a lot of reviews. I have to really like the place or feel the urgent need to inform the masses of what a terrible experience I had: I really like this store! I found it on accident and was in a hurry the first time, but tonight I stopped in as I've been looking for a leather jacket that did not have the collar and didn't cost $1,400. I still can't believe it, but Brian has just bought the jacket I'm wearing right now this morning. It is brand new with the tags and fits me perfectly. I would prefer to keep this place a secret but, more importantly, I would much more prefer this place survive and thrive here in Medford. Check it out, you will find something you want.

For whatever reason (besides COVID), our OSF schedule didn't involve coming out to Jacksonville. So on our recent sojourn here, Carefree Buffalo was our fist stop (weird downtown traffic patterns permitting) was Carefree Buffalo. The nice selection of pricey and amazing made-in Oregon William Henry knives are still here, as are a nice section of ones from Santa Fe (New Mexico) Stoneworks. Of course, there's more than knives here, and they'll all nicely displayed and waiting for you to pick it up or ask about it. I ended up buying a cool (and cheap) utility knife, which pretty much kept me for spending more money. After all, I had to behave myself as Gayle was watching. :)

To respond to what you said regarding my previous review: To…read moresay I'm appalled by such a response is an understatement, and a testament to your true character and integrity of your business. You not only confirmed my original impression of La Strada, but actually lowered it and I will make sure to share your response with my friends. And from one small business owner to another, I would suggest training your employees not to talk shit about customers when other patrons are within earshot. Also, don't push your "sale" merchandise on someone just so you can clear out your inventory...it makes you look desperate and unprofessional. ******************** And since you decided to DELETE your original response I decided to post it.
