Worst possible experience!…read more I made an appointment for 1:45 PM, arrived at 1:10 PM and checked into their electronic kiosk. I was offered a better appointment in just 2 minutes. Forty minutes later the woman manning the front desk called my name and asked why I was there. She apparently did not check the appointment information. I said that I have a standing order for a simple blood test every 4 weeks. She asked for the order from my doctor. I handed it to her and she said that it would be a few minutes. I told her that I needed the original back because it is a reoccurring order. She said that she would make a copy for me. I said that I needed the original back. She said that she would keep the original and give me a copy. I again repeated that I needed the original. She said no. I said that I now wanted the original to take to a different lab because I did not want her to keep the original and that I no longer wanted the blood work performed there. She gave it to me and as I turned to leave, she said "Have a nice day, honey". I turned back and she gave me a huge grin. In her mind I'm sure that she thought she was important and in total control. Her "better than you" attitude cost LabCorp a customer. I got the blood work done at a local hospital and they gave me back the original order. I asked if they needed the original and they told be "of course not". LabCorp? NEVER AGAIN!

Long holds, I got cut off twice and had to call back. No one wanted to help me. I had to take time off work to call back later and my husband gave them permission to talk to me. I still got very few answers because the doctor only told me the liver panel bloodwork, and they needed to know the exact medical terms for the name of each test. The 1 star rating is given only because wait time was less than 30 minutes. My husband went back for routine bloodwork ordered by his cardiologist. He was in the back for 30 minutes and came out with both arms and a hand bandaged! This is an 86 yr old, 100% disabled veteran. Needless to say he was very upset but nowhere near my level of concern! If you claim to be a working blood drawing lab; Why is there no one that knows how to draw blood on the premises? He was shuffled from person to person, jab after jab! I have taken him for the past 40 years for blood draws and have never experienced such inadequate professionalism!! What happened to "Do NO Harm"?
