Off of 31, you turn on to Legends Club Lane and drive & drive. You drive past & through gorgeous grounds that let you know, without a doubt, where you are and what to expect. Once you park, you enter into a lovely space that more's ski chalet than Southern manse... but the feel is undeniably Southern. I'm not much of a golfer but I'm a helluva drinker and I could imagine many afternoons spent having some beer or whiskey (or, both) and working on a deal of some sort. As it was, I was here for an event to which I could wear my tweed and bow tie and I was very satisfied with how everything wound up. The staff clearly hates their jobs. Came with my family for my sister in laws birthday, Tuesday mid morning. It wasn't very busy. Our initial lane broke down, they switched us to the lane next to our original lane, that one broke down as well and they took their time looking into the balls not returning. We went to tell the front desk guy more than twice about it, he didn't seem too interested in looking up from his phone and kept telling us the mechanic was looking into it. When the mechanic actually came to our lane (after checking the back when we told the front our problem was the ball return right by us), he got grumpy with us like it was our fault his co-worker didn't communicate clearly. He was very grumpy to be doing his job. Then took a phone call while trying to fix the ball return. There was maybe 6 total lanes in use, not sure why they didn't just move us. After a minimum of 20 minutes, they finally moved us to a new lane. After moving to a working lane, we enjoyed the rest of our game. We did have a fun time bowling and our kids did it for the first time and keep talking about going back, which we would love to, but because of the grouchy, unkind, crazy apathetic employees, we will be taking them to another bowling alley.

The rough was that spongy grass that seems to suck up your ball so it's not hard to lose a ball in it even though it's not super deep. The pin placements were tough as times and paired with fast greens, it made for some tough putting experiences. Carts were nice with GPS and yardage stats. A cart lady was available often on the course. On course bathrooms were nice and had water to refill bottles. Staff was outstanding. Everyone we met was helpful and fun to chat with. We also took advantage of the free range balls before our round. Great experience.

I played a terrible front and decent back. Don't eat at the clubhouse - very meh. Staff inside were nice. Staff outside on the course made me feel like a child after we paid $500 to play here - telling my 70 year old dad to hurry tf up on literally every hole on the front 9. I thought that wasn't cool. Probably my least enjoyable round of golf as an adult I've ever played and by far the most expensive I've ever paid to play.

If you need a meeting place, something not expensive or over the top for a wedding or engagement party, this would be the proper space. They have a podium, microphones, speaker system, and plenty of free parking. Two entrances, front and back. I was here on two occasions for meetings. The place was comfortable - temperature wise, plenty of windows so I didn't feel like I was in a box, clean bathrooms, a kitchen with appliances to warm my take out food, and a play room should I bring my neighbors child with me. I don't know the pricing, because I wasn't the one renting the space. But if you check out their website, there's all kinds of rental ideas, prices, by the day, by the week or by the month. I didn't see any fold up chairs, but many upholstered chairs to sit in. Some were badly stained and could use a good shampoo, but otherwise, the event space is clean and comfortable.
