There's a nifty little elevator you can use to get from the bridge to the park too. It's well-lit but a bit dirty/smelly. But it looks cool! They also have outdoor concerts here occasionally. Usually just local bands--the big names are at Bridgestone Arena and the Ryman--but the smaller name bands are often better anyway! No seating, so bring a blanket. There's also a little picnic area right by the box office under the bridge. This is no fancy park with tons of nature, but it isn't supposed to be. It's a great balance between a park and urban life. Once you're ready to get back into the city, just walk back across the bridge and you're downtown again! I love the view of the Nashville skyline from this park too. 100% recommend.

The park, while aptly named Antioch Park, is just as much a community center, if not more so, than park. It features a center that offers meeting, function and activity space, along with outdoor courts and other areas. I was not here for any of that, as I was after the trails, which the park does offer as well. The trails are minimal here, but are solid for a good walk. As with most Nashville metro parks, the trails take you through nature and are surrounded by woods and all that good stuff. Overall, I am not in the area often, but glad I got to check Antioch Park off my "walking trail" list!

It's a tranquil walkway. On non-game days, it offers a scenic area in which to walk and lose track of your thoughts. It's the forgotten sibling to Riverfront Park. Rather than take in all the crazy from that side of the river, you can revel in the same sights and 80% less crazy from this side of the tracks. It's also the site of most all public events that take place at Nissan Stadium. The odds of you getting on that field are slim to none so read the fine print about where the event takes place before signing up to attend something at Nissan. We've turned a corner and spring is definitely here. Take advantage of it and walk on some green grass.

Due to the fact that the only person in the vicinity of the fenced off Fort Nashborough was an unhoused man, I felt uncomfortable spending time by the historic site, and walked briskly to a more populated area. This was my experience seeing Fort Nashborough.
