My reason for going back to working out is primarily because I'm getting married (yay me!) in 6 months and I really want that little bit of cellulite and tummy bump to be GONE for the big day. I knew I couldn't handle the gym without a personal trainer, been there done that, but never for long... I train with Sop who's pretty new with the studio but has tons of experience and pushes me exactly the right way, not too much so I get discouraged, but enough so I feel sore for two days. Must be doing something right... I also love the 10 full minutes of intense stretching he gives me at the end of the session thanks to his physiotherapy education. I love the atmosphere of the place, boutique sized but filled with all the needed equipment. Dealing with those guys is a pleasure and I know they will get me in tip top shape for my big day. One less thing to worry about:)

But after training with Lindsay, I actually became one of those annoying girls who orders grilled chicken breast salads during free company dinners!! The excercises were intentional, activating muscles that I would normally never think to work out let alone use. Fahreen was a great instructor, paying close attention to our form and correcting it in an unintimidating environment (even for a newb like myself). The cleanliness of the studio was top notch. I did their foundational class which is perfect for beginners. They have 8 reformer machines, so the instructor is able to spend time with each person (correct their form as needed). I was initially intimidated, but after 5 seconds the staff made me feel secure and welcome, after the tour, I was in. But once I started my weekly sessions, they started me off at the level I was at physically taken care with literally every move. Now my fitness levels are the best they have been in 15 years ....and after a year, I feel amazing, I'm now back to running up and down stairs and running around. They are just finding different ways to earn money. Also, no human values, if you forget your water bottle by any chance. You can faint but they won't give you a water bottle they have.
