I arrived at the restaurant at 3:30pm, walked in, checked to see my name on the bag, and picked up my oder. I was then approached by a young female employee who detained me until I showed her my app confirmation on my phone for the order. I was in shock! This has never happened to me for an online order. I told her my phone was in the car but was happy to show her my drivers license, which I did. Now, I must admit, I was frustrated and a little short with her because this receipt checking crap really gets to me. While most people just give up their rights and adhere to this non-sense, it is a violation of ones liberty and freedom unless you are suspected and accused of a crime. Walmart has been sued over this practice hundreds of times. When the young lady said my drivers license wasn't good enough, I then got mad. While I didn't cuss or raise my voice, I told her that I was leaving and if she needed my receipt that bad she could follow me to my car. I calmly and slowly walked to my vehicle and purposely took my time entering. Lo and behold, I looked in my rearview and out comes a different young lady with a red iPhone in hand. She was video taping my license plate and me. She walked up to my door pushing her phone close to my face demanding I show her my receipt. At this point, I'm furious. I told her she was violating my rights and unless she was accusing me of a crime and calling the police I was leaving. I told her about Terry v. Ohio and the Supreme Court decision of 1967, I told her that she could get sued if she continued this practice. I then showed her my app confirmation and she told me if I did this again she would bar me from the store. I was now visibly angry and trembling on the inside as I calmly drove away. When I got home I immediately logged on the Zaxbys.com looking for a contact phone number. I did speak with customer service and explained what happened. Of course, they were polite and apologetic and promised to keep me informed on their "investigation". Time will tell. I can promise this to Zaxby's. I will never eat at your restaurant again. There are too many other options and this one event has ended thought of ever eating there again. All of this over an $11 sandwich meal. Unbelievable! This simple fact that I've taken time to post this, something I've never done before, should tell you how infuriating this event was today.

I would like to make a complaint regarding the bartender's attire during my recent visit. The…read moreshorts being worn were extremely short and, in my opinion, inappropriate for a restaurant environment, especially one where families and children are present. I understand that restaurants may have different dress codes for their employees, but the attire in this situation made me and other families at the restaurant feel uncomfortable. I believe employees, especially those working directly with customers, should be dressed in a way that maintains a professional and appropriate atmosphere for everyone dining there. I am not trying to criticize the employee personally, but I do feel that management should address the situation and review the dress code for staff. Customers should be able to enjoy their meals without feeling uncomfortable because of an employee's attire. I hope management will take this concern seriously and consider implementing or enforcing a more appropriate dress standard for employees.

Soups are On a warmer but most everything else is cooked to order on the hibachi. I got Kung Pao Chicken and it is definitely the best KPC in Polk County. If I can ask them to spice it up a bit more, it would be perfect. I got wonton soup and it was good but nothing special over any other. It was sort of loud dining when I was there as it was around 1:30 pm on Mother's Day but I am sure it is much quieter on other days. This is definitely a better option that House of China on the Kung Pao ... but they don't have curries at HE so House of China it is for Chicken Curry.
