I was pleasantly surprised. I normally don't like a Chinese restaurant much if it is not full service. I would actually place this in the category with my favorite take out Chinese when I lived in Cartersville, Mr. Eggroll. Soups are On a warmer but most everything else is cooked to order on the hibachi. I got Kung Pao Chicken and it is definitely the best KPC in Polk County. If I can ask them to spice it up a bit more, it would be perfect. I got wonton soup and it was good but nothing special over any other. It was sort of loud dining when I was there as it was around 1:30 pm on Mother's Day but I am sure it is much quieter on other days. This is definitely a better option that House of China on the Kung Pao ... but they don't have curries at HE so House of China it is for Chicken Curry. read more

Ordered delivery on New Years Eve. Everything was amazing! This is the first Chinese restaurant in the area that offers so many authentic options. The sizzling rice soup was delicious! Teriyaki wings were perfectly seasoned. The entrees of house special Lo Mein and Mongolian beef/shrimp/chicken was savory and delicious. We will definitely order from them again. read more

I must update my review since my visit today was so unlike visits of the past. I think mainly due to the young lady that helped me. Her name was Crystal and she appeared to be working alone (customer service). Almost every time I have visited in the past I felt like I was an inconvenience to the person taking my order. They keep asking " What do you want? Anything else......anything else???!!! Today was far from that. Crystal was friendly helpful and accommodating. I ate here two nights in a row due to the house special Lo Mein being so good. The Lo Mein was loaded with beef, chicken and shrimp and all tasted great as they had a grilled flavor. The first night I also had the steak teriyaki. The steak was of high quality, but I have had better steak teriyaki. The second night I had the Mongolian Special which has chicken, beef and shrimp in Mongolian sauce and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was well prepared and not greasy. My wife and I have been going to this place for about 4 -5 years, usually once every 2 weeks or so. For years the food was always consistently good, but over the past few months the quality of the food has steadily declined. I always order either curry beef or MooShu pork. They must have changed their cookstaff or ingredients. The curry beef was watery and without enough meat. The curry had a very strange flavor to it, and keep in mind it was consistently good for a long time before this. My wife had the teriyaki beef with fried rice; she said some of the meat tasted funny so she spit it out. Unfortunately this was the only Chinese restaurant in Rockmart that we enjoyed (even though it's listed as a Japanese restaurant we never tried the Japanese food). Guess we'll be driving all the way back into Dallas for our chinese food. read more

This is the place we eat more often than anywhere else, so today after about the 100th time of eating here, I am finally getting around to writing a review! I always get a hibachi meal with the noodles - for years it was the beef teriyaki, but I tried the chicken a few months ago, and now either get that or the beef and chicken combo. I've tried a few other things, none of which were bad, but this my favorite by far. My husband loves things with a little spice to them, so he usually gets the szechwan, hunan, kung pao or General Tso's chicken. He always gets the "fried" rice (don't think it's fried at all, just rice with some soy sauce) to go with his. My daughter loves the California roll, but it is hard to pay more for that than the lunch specials, when you get SO much food for the $ with those. Always enough leftover to eat at least once, sometimes even twice, from what we take home. We love their crab rangoons - I'm allergic to onions, and theirs don't have any onion in them like many other places have. Some the best, super crunchy outside, nice and creamy inside. The tempura shrimp and the potstickers are both very good, too. If you visit, you need to eat in, since the soup or salad that comes when you dine in is so good. The ginger dressing for the salad is just like you get at the fancy, cook in front of you, hibachi places. Our whole family loves the wonton soup, although the free one you get with a meal only has one wonton. Sometimes, my husband doesn't get a meal, and just orders the quart size wonton soup - you get nine wontons in it. It is my "go to" to get him if he is under the weather. My daughter also like their hot and sour soup, although she says it isn't the best she's had. You also get a bunch of the little crunch noodles when you get the soup, which are great in the duck sauce. Just a couple of FYIs - order a fountain drink, not something from the cooler, since you get free refills with those. If you want a hibachi meal, unless you are a BIG eater, the regular is plenty big - I don't know who can eat a deluxe size! The hibachi meals are the same price at lunch or dinner, but the Chinese meals double in price at dinner time (but you do get more - one container of the entree, one of the rice, instead of both in one container). And no matter what you get, it all tastes great in the white yum-yum sauce! Everyone who works at the front counter is super nice, even when they are crazy busy. And my husband is in a wheelchair, and the place is roomy enough that he never has trouble navigating around or feels like he's anyone's way. read more

Extremely affordable for freshly cooked food, and at the same time reasonably fast. Very clean bathroom. You can get away with some hot food from the hibachi with a soda for well under 10 dollars. I'm not an expert on sushi, but after a really tasty sushi experience, I brought my brother and he put the quality next to some of the best sushi restaurants he's been to. Definitely worth stopping in if you are after something different than burgers or tex mex in the Rockmart area. read more

When you don't have many choices, this place is better than the alternatives. Great service and very efficient. But unfortunately, the food is rather bland, especially the fried rice. ALL fried rice I've ever had included peas and carrots with fried egg; theirs has some cabbage and onions, a few mushrooms and broccoli. I usually have to ask for more vegetables. read more

We just moved to the area from New York and are slowly checking out the local restaurants. We got a menu the other day and the prices seemed very reasonable, so we decided to try it on a lazy Wednesday evening for dinner. This place is GREAT! I got the deluxe size and it was a lot of food, enough to share if you wanted to. Mostly everything on the menu was under $10 and it comes with a plate of plain fried rice and another large plate of the meat and veggies laid on a thin bed of cabbage. If you dine in you also get either your choice of soup or ginger salad. The flavor of the food is really good. My husband ordered mozzarella steak, which is kind of like a philly cheese steak, and the steak was very tender. My daughter ordered the spicy chicken and hers was perfectly spiced. Not too over powering spicy and not too mild. I ordered the chicken and shrimp teriyaki, and again the flavor was perfectly spiced, and it had lots of shrimp, not just a few like a lot of places. I can't wait to go back to try their sushi rolls... The only one negative I could say is the fried rice was really plain it was just white rice fired a minute on the grill, but it was really good with the meat and with the homemade yum yum sauce.
