I had a really positive experience at Toyota of Olympia, which is saying a lot, because I am…read moresomeone who typically cannot stand car salesmen or their tactics. I can truly say they didn't try any tactics on me. I wanted a new Cross but knew stock was limited. I contacted them with what I was looking for and spoke to Trisha. She then emailed me each week with what new allocations they had incoming until I ultimately chose a white XLE. I placed a $1000 deposit to hold and the car was at the dealership within about 6 weeks for pickup. I called just about every dealership in the area and Olympia had the most competitive pricing by far. They offered no markup on the Toyota website-advertised MSRP. Other dealers had market adjustments over MSRP or tons of pricey add-ons. When it was time to go buy, TJ was great with helping me learn the car's features and get set up with the Toyota app. No one pushed me to buy anything extra. My only complaint at pickup was that there was a small plastic piece that was not installed into my bumper that should have been - I noticed a few days later. I texted TJ who was extremely helpful and told me where the piece could be found inside the car to try to install it myself. He also offered for me to go back for them to fix it, but it was super easy to click on myself. Trisha also made sure that they didn't drill holes for front plates for me, which was one of my asks. I only knock off one star because I hate mandatory dealer add-ons that you don't actually want to buy. I had to purchase brake-plus for an extra $400. Larson wanted $800 for the exact same product, so Olympia is still more reasonable. This was also the dealer add-on, where other dealers push/force you to buy much more. Olympia was the most fair I could find. I just think it's a scam. You can find the same part if you search "brake light blinker" on Amazon for $17.99. I understand the dealer likely has a contract with the company, but I think it's just a cash grab and wish dealers would give up on stuff like this. Overall, I'd recommend anyone in the market for a new Toyota to go to Toyota of Olympia over any other dealership in Washington, especially when buying new. I'd buy from them again any day and hope to work with them in the future.

My husband and I came in to purchase a Rav4. We did a short test drive and decided to purchase it…read more Noel assisted us and was no nonsense and efficient and we settled on a price. Once we moved to the finance department, things changed. The guy helping was nice UNTIL we told him we didn't want to purchase the extended warranty. He then became abrupt and rude with us. It was night and day in the way he treated us. It was very off putting and bizarre seeing we were spending thousands of dollars on a new car. We had personalized plates we wanted transferred to the new car and they were unsure they could do that (yes, a dealership can transfer them and I have had it done several times before) - I felt like they were being lazy. I called a few days after buying the car to talk to the guy in charge of licensing to make sure they were handling it because if not it I could lose my personalized plate and pay more to go back in and register my vehicle again. I never received a call back after leaving numerous messages and even driving in to leave a note for him. Anyway, fast forward a few weeks. The Rav was extremely uncomfortable, gutless, there was a draft by my leg, it had road noise and essentially I hated it. I am pretty sure the seats were made from hard cardboard. I went back into the dealership to try to find a solution and their solution was to purchase a much more expensive car. No, thanks. I ended up trading the Rav in for a Honda CRV at a local dealership 18 days later. I am SO MUCH HAPPIER with my Honda, it is a high quality car and is very comfortable to drive. They treated us very nicely at Honda and were super efficient registering my car and ensuring I got my personalized plates without any hassle. They gave me a much better finance rate and they didn't push anything extra on us and were still professional when we said no to the extended warranty. Funnier still, a month later I never received a call back from the licensing guy but I did get a call from someone there to come pick up my new license plates (for the Rav I no longer owned). Guess what? They weren't my personalized plates. So, essentially they blew me off and in the end I would have had to pay an extra 90.00 and take a trip to DMV to get my personalized plates because they couldn't be bothered to do the easy paperwork that dealers do to transfer the plate. Honda was easily able to make the transfer and I have my personalized plates on my new Honda CRV. All in all, I can't recommend Toyota.

I'm on edge with these guys... I've sent people here for parts and have had a lot of mixed feedback…read moreafter buying their parts. My personal experience was good with a headlight I needed for a car but horrible with a transmission... Long story short: I bought a 4l60e GM transmission for a customer's van that was missing all but 3 pan bolts and someone had broke off the filter screen. The transmission didn't work after installing the unit and filling it with fluid. After bringing it back to them they dropped it off at a transmission shop and the only thing they could come up with is that I installed the wrong filter kit. When I talked to the manager about the inspection the guy told me that I was going to be responsible for paying for the inspection. Last thing that happened was when dropping the transmission core off with them it took a good 45 minutes to get one of the staff off their ass to come out and fetch it from the back of my truck. They then took another hour to get me my core refund which they first tried to refund me in credit. Seth's final thoughts: Don't remove crucial pieces from parts you sell if you don't want to pay for an inspection later; only to reveal you shouldn't have removed it in the first place.
