I just called and spoke to a very rude person who presented herself as the head boss when I asked to speak to a gentleman who is over several stores. She said she is the manager but learned that she's only the "closing" manager. She interrupted me several times; hung up while I had the other store on the line that was trying to help me. She was rude and very unprofessional. She told me she had nothing on hold for me or for pick up when in fact I did because I paid $119 cash. I heard nightmares about this store even from other AutoZone staff from different stores. If she's a member of management, that needs to re-evaluatd & she needs customer service training and needs to be a lot more polished. read more

This store turned a nightmare into a awesome experience. Car broke down, got a jump start. Called 3 different places to see if I could buy a new battery and have it installed (I am a older female - 1st experience with this problem). Not only was the staff pleasant, helpful but the guy (didn't get his name) also did a electrical check for me at no charge in case something else was wrong. The service was fast, professional, complete. I will recommend this AutoZone to all my friends and I have put them into my phone in case I need other car problem help. Jason was great and easy to talk to, not only that, but he was fast and efficient on changing my batteries. The last experience I had here was literally to change a batter and the gentle that help me was rude and distracted. Glad this place has came around since the last time I was here. Went in for a return, walked to the counter after the customer before me was done. The cashier picked up the phone and proceeded to have a 10 minute conversation, then asked the other cashier to help me out. He said "this is why you should wait in line until someone's ready". Never had this problem at O'Reilly's. read more

I was helped by Derrek B. And his night shift crew. They were very helpful and ran a Check on my check engine light at 10 pm. They found it was the gas cap and got me a new one for a decent price. After a less than helpful AAA guy, I took my car to this Autozone for a battery change. I called the store while in the parking lot because I didn't want to leave my empty car running in the lot while I went inside in case they didn't have the battery I needed. Megan answered my call and, upon learning that I was in the parking lot, she came straight out to help me in person. She answered all of my questions and helped me make the right decision. Even though she didn't have the battery I needed, she told me which local stores did and gave me some really helpful advice on what my next steps should be. I really appreciated her help after a stressful morning of unhelpful people. read more

I went in because my check engine light was on and one of my headlights was out. This was the second AutoZone I had been to, so I was pretty frustrated with the whole evening. Ricky was the employee that helped me and his service was phenomenal! He went above and behind to make sure that I had all the information I needed for my check engine light and even helped me install the headlight that was out. He also spotted a tube that had come loose and was leaking fluids! He helped me fix the tube which hopefully is going to save me money in repairs. I would recommend this store to anyone because of him. Excellent service! read more

Called in to ask if they had a fuel pump for my wife's car. The employee said they had it and put the part on hold for me. We drove from Olympia to Tacoma. When we got to the store, the customer service was terrible. The employee said they were unsure if the part was still there. We stood at the counter for half an hour before he came back and told us the part was no longer there. We witnessed another customer leave the store over a simple battery issue that no one could answer. Also, the manager had no clue one employee even clocked in for his shift. The employees including the manager dicked us around for close to 45 minutes after passing blame to one another. The final straw came when we were told that they moved our part out of the store, due to inventory needs. No communication exists between employees. I've seen monkey shit fights at the zoo more organized than this "auto parts" store. One star doesn't justify how awful this experience was. read more

We were looking for a starter for my son's 2012 Camaro and the only place in town that had one was the Tacoma location. Unfortunately based on time constraints, we were finding it difficult to get to Tacoma to pick this up. Michael and Frank were super supportive and agreed to get it to the AutoZone less than a mile from my house by Noon the next day. By doing this, they provided exceptional customer service, really going above and beyond - and for that I'm truly appreciative and will look to them for any future auto supply needs. read more
