Well it's a junkyard what do you expect? The only positives are there is an app you can use to check car availability. They charge you 10 dollars to use the metal cart to haul parts around the yard, which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Why would you charge me to use the device that gets parts from the yard TO WHERE I PAY FOR THEM? I absolutely would have bought more things with that cart but instead you have to get your little 10 dollar fee... what does it cost you if I buy nothing? Not a damn thing. It's a metal cart. My biggest gripe is being nickel and dimed for every single part, it's really not that serious considering that if I don't buy the parts they will eventually be crushed. I feel like us paying customers are helping to offset the costs of thieves or people who go there to hang out and vandalize. Buyer Beware. My good friend had her car hit and totaled on her property recently, she called Pick N Pull to come pick up the vehicle, signed over pink slip. One of their employees who towed the car off her property directly to Pick N Pull, a tow truck driver, called her to extort money, $850, claims it was for gate fees, but the vehicle was never in an impound yard. My friend, the victim, refused, and the tow truck driver threatened to kill her children. Why does Pick N Pull allow it's customers and sellers to be extorted like this, it is highly illegal!?! Be weary of this business, it hires people who threaten to harm your children. My friend did nothing, and the tow truck driver is demanding $ because he knows her vehicle is a direct insurance payout. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE They are price gouging , the highest price self serve wrecking yard around and they especially gouge on the environmental fee I bill for the parts was $250.85 then they add sales tax of 22.21 and 27.59 environmental fee and they also tax you the 3.00 admission fee .24 for a grand total of $300.89 that is $50.04 of fees and taxes on a $250.85 bill and let's be strait a fee is just a tax with a fancy name on it . Go to I Pull U Pull or West Side Auto the parts are priced fair and they do not add on EXTRA FEES . by law they do charge an environmental fee but it is lees then half of what these guys charge . So I did look up CA. environmental fees and they have no state standard on these fess so these wrecking yards can add pretty much what they want to your bill and this place sure takes advantage of it . read more

I've been a customer at Picknpull in Fresno for years, and these new non-educated hired INCLUDING some old workers need to know their parts. I suggested people not buy any front, or rear lip, or modify parts that these non-educated employees don't know because they will charge you whatever they feel that is in the same category. I purchased a rear lip and side skirt but only one of them is in the cost system. They charged me a running board for the side skirt and a gravel shield for the rear lip. I understand that the side skirt is like the running board on the side of the car so I can slide that, but not the rear lip because they have a price for it. It is called bumper end/valance. I try to explain that the cost of the rear lip should be bumper end/valance, but you should know that you CANNOT convince idiots even if you prove them wrong. So, it's best in your interest to not buy anything that these employees don't know what item it is. I'm not saying all employees don't know their parts but most workers at PicknPull in Fresno don't know ESPECIALLY the Mexican girls and the black guy. If you don't know what your parts are called, then you're more likely to get overcharged. This issue doesn't apply to simple parts like the bumper or hood, only to modified parts like strut bars, body kits (front lip, rocker panel = side skirt, rear lip), etc. You have been warned! read more

Update to my previous review: a driver ended up calling me the following Monday asking to come get the car then. I said no because I was at work and I didn't want to reschedule because they had already wasted 8 hours of my time. He said he would have dispatch schedule me for the coming Saturday with a guarantee the car would be picked up. Surprise, no one showed Saturday. I happened to have today off so yesterday I called and got on the schedule for today, the lady said call us if the driver hasn't called you by 10:30. I called at 10:30 and was told they were sending the driver a message. I called again at 12:30 (my timeframe was 8-12) and was told the same thing. No one ever showed. Egg on my face for wasting 16 hours of my time waiting for Fresno Pick N Pull. Zero stars. read more

Inventory is pretty good, but this place is wack. They charge customers $10 just to use the wheelbarrows. I've been to more ghetto junkyards before (including other Pick-n-Pull locations) and they all let the customers use the wheelbarrows free of charge. If you plan on bringing lots of tools or buying large parts, go elsewhere or bring a friend. Had to make two trips from Merced just to get two parts because it was too much to carry by myself. The parts I was looking for wern't even there. After the front desk informed me there was. They don't check their inventory and I wasted a trip looking for something that wasn't there. Good junkyard. Good variety of mostly rust-free California cars. Large GM section with a nice cross-section of vehicles. Personnel were friendly. Inventory is listed online which is something all junkyards need to start doing. No reason to complain about prices since as was mentioned below, they are readily available beforehand online or posted at the yard entrance. Yes, you'll get overcharged if you only want one small item but if you couldn't separate it from the thing its attached to so you'll get charged for both. That's how these businesses operate, all of them. Note also there is a Holiday Inn Express, a Taco Bell, a Wendy's and an In-n-Out Burger next door for your junkyarding convenience. read more

TERRIBLE. Looks like slums of LA. Unorganized and sloppy. I had to pay $2 to get in but I asked the girl in the front just in case if they had models I was looking for. She supposedly found 2! So I said ok. Never did I find a car even similar. I literally walked around the same isles to make sure they weren't around that area on accident and nothing. So I said ok I'm just gonna walk around the whole thing maybe it's misplaced.... I didn't find a single thing after 1.5 hours. Annoying. Waste of time. My car got broken into late last night on Blackstone and I came to Pick-n-Pull first thing in the morning for a quick fix. The crew did an amazing job in replacing my window along with cleaning up the glass leftover from the break. The lady working the front desk was incredibly nice and gave me a discount as well. Funny thing about their customer service is they lie about pricing and other. Gotta let yall know they are shady. First, pricing of item I'm looking for is $8 ON Website and by the main office where you pay, but on the phone guy says $18. Ok no problem, still cheap. But main office only women there told me they took calls all day and said I was never told $18. So I'm told SAME item is $30 instead. So stop giving out false pricing twice if you cant update your pricing on the website and on physical paper. read more

Worst customer service ever. We walked in to the office where u sell your car to and no one greeted us not a word they looked all mad. Finally lady name Gaby said something when we told her what we were there for she didn't know what we were talking about and someone else had to tell her how to help us because we didn't have the car title. Then finally after she called main office she gave us a way lower $$ amount then what we were quoted over the phone so we left and called the main # they said it should of been the higher $$ that they don't like looking stuff up, pretty much there lazy. So we go back in and told her to check her computer again cuz we just talked to main office ! Everyone there still look very mad like they hate their job. Had an appointment to get my car picked up with a window from noon to 4pm on a Friday.. okay. So I take the day off and wait. 4 pm rolls past and no one has showed up yet. I called to find out what had happened.. they are not sure.. so they call the tow truck driver and says it will be a half hour to forty minutes. Okay. An hour and a half rolled by so I call back. They call the tow truck driver again and he ends up calling me back. All I'm trying to do now is figure out when somebody is going to show up because I have now wasted my entire day..and mind you the car is not at my house... Tow truck driver was rude couldn't give me a time and hung up on me. I call pick and pull back and I guess I have to reschedule now for another Friday during working hours. Tow truck driver shows up the next day...lol I am not there...little late... I call Thursday to cancel the appointment because I found a better deal and this whole experience has been ridiculous. Turns out the appointment had already been cancelled by someone apparently... wasn't me... so I would have been waiting all day Friday and no one would have showed up again. They need to consider what an appointment is and how to keep them otherwise it's just horrible business practice. And a giant waist of time. read more

And your right, But this ain't my first rodeo with this sistah, she has been there for a minute, and I've been going to this yard for quite some time. Since around "93" give or take. So yes, I've seen many times the "BAD" days she had, and I do my all not to have her day shit on mine, Like it did today when I went to get a $51.00 radiator "That I really needed at that moment" and was being charged $100.00 + $10.00. some things you just can't avoid. I asked her for a print out of the price she was charging me and she told me that the only print out I could get is the receipt after I've payed for it. makes you wonder how many other times she has over charged on parts, in my case payed double the price!
