We got the house red wine, the three of a kind bruscetta, cheese and cold cuts plate, and the anchovies plate, and everything was so tasty! We were especially surprised about the anchovies, as neither of us likes them, but we liked these so much we got more. Most notably, the owner (and bar tender, and chef) was incredibly fun to talk to! He recommended really good things and kept us company. The breakfast menu also looks great, so we'll definitely be back.

The views before and after sunset amazing. For our appetizer we decided to share a salad w black truffles and Parmesan sauce. Our mistake was we should of ordered two. It was the delicious! I chose the Fresh Tuna lightly scaled with sesame and poppy seeds very delicious. Our only displeasure was the cab ride up was 10 euro. Our trip back down was 15 euros Maybe the owners should make some sort of fair arrangement with the cab companies so restaurant guests are not rip off after a delicious meal.

Hungry & weary, we opted for the only tho f we could find open at 12:30am - a Viking/heavy metal bar with food- sigh. Surprise - the food is excellent, the beer is excellent, the service is excellent. My wife & I both had the wild boar stew served on a bed of polenta- it was fantastic. If you are not very adventurous or if you are too old at heart to handle heavy metal music (I grew up on it in the 90's so it was like a trip back to my 20's) maybe it's not for you, but if like having fun & tend to find it wherever you are you will probably think it's very cool like I

Don't let the metal music theme scare you off. This restaurant is filled with personality and served us the most satisfying dinner we had in Italy. We ordered: - Testaroli with pesto: So unique and tasty. The testaroli were perfectly chewy and perfect for soaking up their delicious pesto. When in Liguria, you have to eat pesto! - Pork shank with caramelized onions and porcini mashed potatoes: Oh my God. This was spectacular. Magical. Phenomenal. You need to try this. - Braised wild boar in barolo sauce with polenta: Also delicious, but overshadowed by the pork shank. - Panna cotta with strawberry sauce: Tasty but I wish they wouldn't serve it in a jar. Half the fun of panna cotta is watching it jiggle on the plate. Portions are huge; the pork shank alone could've fed two people easily. Prices are very reasonable. Instead of wine, they have a great beer selection on tap. My husband enjoyed two wonderful beers excellently recommended by our waiter. Between the warm welcoming vibe, medieval decor, friendly staff, and unique metal ambiance, my husband was ready to move in immediately! Looking around, everyone was so happy with their meals, and the energy was infectious. It's very popular with tourists and locals alike, so you need to make a reservation! We made ours by emailing them months before our trip, and they were very responsive. In short, eat here and get ready to enjoy one of the best meals of your life!
