Sangria

Probably one of our most favorite quaint wine bars! Amazing Sangria! Perfect after a day of traveling and sight seeing.

During our stay in Monterosso al Mare my girlfriend and I visited Enotaca Da Eliseo every day--sometimes twice in one day. It was our home away from home in this lovely seaside paradise. Each afternoon we stopped by to relax with a few glasses of wine before dinner--and sometimes for a nightcap after dinner. The proprietor is so friendly and helpful. She always had wonderful wine recommendations for us and gave us great service. We bought a couple bottles of phenomenal limoncino to bring home with us (try the local "antica" limoncino--it's a bit more expensive but so smooth and not cloying and syrupy like others). Definitely stop by when you're in town.

What do you do when it's rainy and cold outside? You drink grappa, that's what. And you drink it here.

Amazing amazing amazing! Eliseo and Mary are the most gracious couple we have met in Italy. We had drinks here a few nights we were in Monterosso. We later found out rick steves specifically mentions them in his book. The drinks were of great variety and price and were so delicious! We got a special limoncello. It is a great late night spot, with so much romantic Italian charm. We are so thankful we got to experience this part of Monterosso. Thank you Mary and Eliseo!

Really glad we stopped here for a drink. We were visiting all the villages on a tour for the day and we had just under an hour before moving on. I had the Sangria then the local Limoncino which was very good. They were playing Pavaroti and other similar music in the background which made it even nicer. The best thing was that their WC was immaculate. Our tour guide had been telling us all day that the WCs wouldn't be good, so when I used there's it was such a pleasant surprise.

Excellent place to sample the local production! I had a glass of this one from a friend of the owner before lunch across the street. Super enjoyable!

Great drinks and great service! They give you a small bowl of peanut, olives, and pickled capers with your drinks -- delicious!

Cute family style wine bar. Great selection of Italian wines and spirits. Great staff. No food, just snacks to go with your wines.

Both were delicious! We also had an incredible view unlike any we had ever had at a restaurant! Our server Jonas was also so kind and attentive! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting monterosso!

I didn't actually look at the reviews before deciding to eat here. I honestly wanted to eat at the…read morerestaurant on the point that looked like a castle. I looked up directions to get there and we headed there for lunch. Getting seated wasn't an issue and we chose a table on the town side with views of the beach and harbor. I think there are seats on the ocean side but I didn't make it over there. The host and servers were friendly enough and nice to us but I could see how they could be cold to some self absorbed tourists. Do better and learn some Italian... As with the other comments the menu has some interesting wording about ordering an appetizer and a 90 euro limit. We did not order an appetizer but did get a couple of drinks each and a pasta dish each. The muscle gnocchi and pesto pasta. Both were good but I would not put them at the top of my food list while visiting Cinque Terre... We were not forced to order the starter and I did not see the bread charge on our bill, I also cant comment on the 90 euro min as we were just over that. Overall the seating and view was awesome, that was worth the visit for me alone. You can find better food in town.
