House salad

I would not recommend this place. We were driving around looking for a place that was family-friendly and came across this. The ambiance is family-friendly but the quality of the food does not meet expectations. Not worth the price we paid ($4.75 a slice)

Meat lasagna and cheesy garlic bread
Leandra V.

I'm so hooked on this lasagna. I've had other places and the flavor just wasn't it or they didn't use enough meat. But I'm warning you! It's DEEEEELICIOUS. The service is fast and good. It's a nice spot downtown you can even sit, eat and watch cars pass by or go around the corner to the nice shady park

This was such a cool place near downtown Fort Worth. There is a decent amount of street parking and it is free if you get there after 6. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately. The staff was super friendly and answered all our questions about the menu. There were 4 people people in our party and we all wanted something a little different. We got sausage and meatballs, chicken fettuccine, a side salad, and a large pizza, to note Large is the smallest pizza they offer. My kid loved the pasta, and my family really liked their food as well. I got the veggie side of the pizza, and it tasted so authentic. The crust was awesome, not too thick and perfectly cooked, and the toppings were so fresh. We also ended up getting desserts, and they were just as tasty. We saw lots of people get to go orders and large parties. I would definitely go back again to try more of their entrees or share a pizza with friends and family.

We came here for dinner just before an event at Bass Hall. I'll make this short but sweet. The inside is very nice and the staff extremely friendly. The pizza was not impressive. I was hoping for more scratch ingredients. My slices were heated up and the toppings tasted canned. Basically, mall pizza slices. The same was true of the chicken fettuccine. Now my wife's calzone was made fresh and she loved it. Not bad for the price but I wouldn't make a special trip here for the pizza.

Close up of Spinach Ravioli

Lunch event with new hire at office. Lunch special- Spinach Ravioli, house salad, roll, tea. Most of the people in the group ate pizza. The flavor of the Ravioli was very nice.

Slice of pepperoni and salad with house tomato-basil dressing. This is the real deal, my favorite slice in the world.

I just returned to Fort Worth for work after living here 6 years ago. This is seriously my favorite slice in the world, a slice you can eat for lunch many times a week. It's as good as I remembered and Al and Saul are still behind the counter. The house tomato basil dressing is also fantastic, I dip my crust in it. Best lunch in Fort Worth, easy.

I love the staff here. They are very quick with service. The pizza slices were actually delicious! These were New York Style which I haven't tried in a long time. I know it may not be close to the real thing but definitely not bad.

If anything, that actually added to the experience for her. She liked the vibe and inside decor, not because she partakes in cannabis use, but she's not familiar with the 420 culture in the first place so it all kind of stood out. I agree with that as well. The design plays into the theme well! This of course extends to the menu as well. All sandwiches are named after different strains of weed. I got the Kali Mist - a spicy turkey club - on white and my mom got the KGB - a roast beef and horseradish sandich - on garlic herb. As opposed to small, medium, large, the sizes are nug, pinner, and blunt. We both got nug sizes since we weren't too hungry at the time but still wanted to try. Long story short, the sandwiches were absolutely delicious. They're all toasted so the bread provides a great, warm base. The avocado on the Kali Mist stood out for me, providing a nice rich flavor and texture amongst everything else. I tried a bit of the KGB as well and the horseradish gives a nice contrast to the flavorful roast beef. Overall, I would definitely come back again to try out more of the sandwiches.

This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.

Several years ago, I had my first muffuletta at a sandwich shop in Florida and I thought it was OK, but nothing special. The first bite that we took we just looked at each other wide eyed in amazement and said OMG. My husband found The Great Outdoors Sub Shop, and it absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the turkey and cheese with the works (minus tomatoes), and my husband went with the same sandwich but built his own without the preset toppings. The bread is baked fresh in-house, and all of the fixings tasted fresh and high quality. I grabbed a bag of chips and a drink, and it made for a solid, satisfying meal. If I'm being picky, I wouldn't have minded a little more meat--but overall, the flavor was on point. The place was clean, with steady foot traffic from nearby businesses, which is always a good sign. The servers were ready to take on all the orders that came in. Bonus points: they also offer desserts and ice cream! Definitely a great option if you're craving a classic deli experience

One sandwich was the club and the other sandwich was the turkey pastrami. By my mistake, I thought that my was going to be turkey and pastrami. We opened with a cocktail from the bar, which set a high bar for what followed -- unfortunately, not everything cleared it. The Deviled Eggs with Spicy Best Maid Pickles arrived looking the part, four to an order, but tasted like they'd forgotten to show up to their own party. Bland, flat, and in desperate need of seasoning, we reached for the salt shaker, which helped, but shouldn't have been necessary. The pickles, to their credit, were doing their absolute best and were genuinely the only flavor happening on that plate. Skip these. The pickles deserve better supporting cast. The Cheeseburger with Wasp Sauce on a potato bun, however, is a different story entirely. We ordered it medium, half expecting the kitchen to interpret that however it pleased, but it arrived cooked exactly as requested, which felt like a small victory worth celebrating. The Wasp Sauce is a mystery worth solving, and the house-made chips that come alongside are fresh, crisp, and dangerously snackable. Pro tip: order a side of ranch for dipping. You're welcome. We also added a side of fries, which were equally excellent. No notes. Little Red Wasp has real charm, great energy, a fun bar, and a cheeseburger worth crossing Main Street for. Just steer clear of the deviled eggs and order the chips with abandon.
