03/24/2025 I had my cleaning before my dental procedure, dental hygienist Miho was very friendly, she explained what she was doing every step of the way, she did a great job and was very gentle, I will for sure comeback for my teeth cleaning routinely and as needed. After my cleaning, Shellby took over, she took X-rays and impression of my teeth, she was calm, polite and very pleasant, she made me comfortable before Dr. Vinh sat down and took his time to explain what's the treatment plan and what to expect after my tooth removal, Dr. Vihn was very gentle and comforting, I didn't even feel the injections, and my extraction went smoothly. Unfortunately, the front office needs more training in scheduling new clients. Picasso Dental called on several occasions to schedule an apt and after the 3rd call, I called back to finally schedule not only my daughter but myself and my husband. I was originally scheduled for the 15th but needed to push the apt up for my daughter and was given the 2nd of December to see the Ortho at 11am. I then get a call back to have my apt pushed up to 12:30pm. I then, get a call the morning of and was told the Ortho does not see new patients and she made a mistake again. I completely understand the importance of customer service and Chelsea was super sweet on the phone and very apologetic. However, we changed our schedule around to make this apt happen. Picasso Dental would have possibly gained 3 new patients. read more

When I first moved to Murrieta, I was going to a dentist (who I will not name) that had a hygienist that was super rough on my teeth. Unfortunately, I got this same person every time and she wasn't very nice. Fast forward, I met the folks at Picasso Dental while at 2021Murrieta Christmas tree lighting. They had a booth and I was curious on how their dental work was. Jaynelle has been my hygienist for over a year now. I absolutely love coming to the office. Update- The care keeps getting better than before. Jaynelle did my deep cleaning and is so gentle and thorough. I had 6 teeth extracted with zero pain, which I know is not the norm. I had a small setback and Picasso allowed me to come in on a Saturday which is what makes this place so great. Yes, the price is lower elsewhere but the care certainly could be too. Don't skimp on your oral health. As a very nervous dental patient, I took the advice of a coworker and gave Picasso a try. He was kind, detail oriented, knowledgeable, has been here as long as IKnow this place, he never once forgot that IwS there and always made sure I was comfortable. I'm so happy we randomly found this dental care center at a local event. They were so unbelievably kind to me and my daughter. Bria and Dr Vinh are really amazing with children. I've been going to this dentist office for the last 6 years or so....last year my 2 standard cleanings they charged me a copay and I thought it was strange considering I do have insurance but I didn't say anything. Fast forward to this year, they called me the day I originally had my appointment scheduled and informed me that my insurance only covers my cleanings every 6 months and 1 day so if I wanted the cleaning covered I should reschedule...I appreciated the info and was happy to push it back a couple weeks. I drove out there this morning for my appointment only to be met with the same problem, they tried to charge me a $91 copay! I then asked her why I had a copay, I thought cleanings were free, she had to go ask someone else. She came back and told me that my insurance does not cover the whole thing...I was not happy. I left without getting my cleaning and to call my insurance to figure out what's going on. My insurance informed me that cleanings in AND out of network are covered 100%! I will no longer be giving this office my business!! read more

If you want to be over charged for your dental needs this is the place for you. Even with double coverage the out of pocket costs was extremely high and once I informed them that I'm just waiting on a decision form the VA to cover the cost they didn't care and wanted me to pay up front. Now that I have the VA approval I'm going another dentist with better customer service. But the real reason for this review on Yelp is my daughter needed a exam for her recruiter cause she is joining the Navy as a nurse they charged her about $1,000.00 for a deep cleaning and they won't give her a signature on her exam forms until she gets the cleaning done! And that's with a family discount!! Needless to say my daughter had to pay and we won't be going there again. read more

Total scam...the Doctor said I needed two crowns and priced each at $783 total (after running my insurance (it's what they told me, but they did not run it))! I went to another practice for second opinion and they said if I pay cash, it would cost me $840 per tooth. This practice was in San Diego. I decided to go with a Picasso because I live near it and the price with insurance little bit less. After service was done, I paid $783 at the office and thought it's all done. BTW, the crown was so uncomfortable that I was planning to go back to fix it after I get back to USA (I was in a different country for a month). Today I got a bill additional $421. I was very surprised since I work for medical billing office and if we quoted a patient with N amount, I would call insurance to verify info to make sure we are correct with the price! It's what every good dental office does. They verify first before giving you total price. Well, turned out this office was lazy to call and verify and quoted me incorrectly! If I would of know they are not doing their job professionally I would definitely go to another dentist who have reasonable cash prices. Picasso charged $1800 per crown without root canal. They other office does it for $840 cash! My husband is NP and no way we would run this scam on our patients. I need to redo the crown as well that they've placed since all food get stock in there and I really don't want to come back there because it's not honest people who is not doing their job. However my crown needs to be redone and I still have to deal with them. read more

There are two dentists here; brothers from my understanding; I had Dr. Vinh Lee. Cora or Kora (Spelling?) reception was extremely friendly. Maybe the best I have ever seen in a dental office anywhere, so I would try to retain her if this were my office. The person up front makes or breaks your business in my opinion. Initial paperwork was only 3 pages compared to over 10 I have filled out at other dental offices. Quick, and pleasant initial registration. Extremely nice building, and a very clean office with some National Geographic actual hard magazines on the table. I have not seen those magazines in years, as everything is digital in today's age. Nice layout in the waiting area. Some free water, and other drinks I did not look at in a fridge up front. Unfortunately, I do not remember the hygienist name, but he was a real pleasure also. Quick on X-Rays, very personable and knowledgable. Had some great conversation with him. Again, very clean work areas, well lighted, etc. Dr. Vinh Lee is the real deal, and I do not say that lightly. I usually expect to get blindsided with all sorts of unnecessary work based on prior experiences with some dentists (not all). Dr. Lee is very personable. Has an excellent bedside manner. He asked several times if I had any questions during a very involved initial review versus doing a "drive by" that usually happens. Was thorough in his explanation behind a possible replacement of one lower right crown that I have also heard about briefly from prior dentists, but this time I was given a much more detailed explanation. The X-Rays were very well done. I could tell exactly where the issue was just by looking at those X-Rays. When I asked if I NEEDED to replace that crown, Dr. Vinh Lee told me straight up it is not needed now, and totally up to me. Ultimately, I do not want to be looking at this crown when it gets a cavity or infected because of the wear and tear it has over the years. Impressed on his very honest answer. How many times do you ask that, and of course the answer is you NEED all of that work done right now? Could be any line of service, product, etc. No up-selling of any other products or services. Being a cash patient, I was given what appears to be a very competitive price with a higher pay in full discount should I choose to go through with replacing that crown. I have seen replacement crowns for up to triple what I was quoted here. I probably WILL choose to do the crown replacement. I appreciate the integrity, and like to spend money at businesses that deserve it as the bottom line. I need to return for the actual cleaning because the doctor was running behind of which I understand. The exam and review itself was very well done. I initially came to the office based on a $58 new patient deal card mailed to my home, and I am glad I did. My wife also needs a new dentist, and this office is conveniently located fitting that need nicely. Great job overall. I have been a patient of Dr. Vinh Le for the past three years. I have had many dental challenges prior to seeing Dr. Le. A failed implant, chipped tooth, crowns that needed to be redone due to tooth failure etc. Dr. Le has done two bridges, several crowns and many other services that I needed. He is a very kind Dentist, takes his time explaining everything. He carefully shows you via x-ray and computer what is happening in your mouth. All my dental work has been pain free. I am so glad I found Dr. Le! Prior to seeing him I had some estimates from other Dentists in the area but they were recommending a lot of work I didn't need. I find Dr. Le to be honest and trustworthy. My wife also has had some dental work done by Dr. Le and she has been very satisfied. We know Dr. Le does not "upsell" and this is very important to us. Natalie is an excellent Registered Dental Hygienist! She is very detailed and our cleanings have been pain free. My husband went to Picasso in December and loved them! He needed to have some work done and was really happy with everything they did for him! So when it was time for me to get my teeth cleaned I went to Picasso. From the moment I walked in I was impressed with how beautiful and clean the office is. The front office staff was super nice and greeted me right away. They did a full set of x-rays, exam and a cleaning for the $58 advertised special (I believe it's for new patients). Anyway, everyone was awesome! Dr. Le was very thorough in explaining my x-rays to me and did a great exam. Followed that up with a great cleaning! My teeth are no spring chickens so I thought there would be some up-selling involved for that $58 exam but he told me just keep doing what I'm doing (only a little better on the bottom teeth LOL) and sent me on my way!
