This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

In fact, this location was the first time my sister Tiffany had ever been to one. She bought everything from fresh jerky and nuggets to souvenirs and brisket sandwiches. Needless to say she had to rearrange her luggage to make everything fit for her flight home. You know what I'm gonna say next... Great service. Great offerings. Super clean. So we decided "eh let's give this place a shot instead" on our drive down to San Antonio. And to our surprise, this place was actually really solid. No, it doesn't have the SHEER square footage of the NB Buc-ee's, but it has nice clean plentiful bathrooms, a good assortment of snacks, drinks, useful trinkets, and toys, as well as a buy-at-the-counter deli with fresh hot food and many tables to sit and eat inside. Honestly, all our needs were more than met stopping here and it took probably less than half the time fighting the onslaught of cars/people always swarming like ants at Buc-ee's across the freeway on the weekends. If you find yourself in a similar conundrum (and don't have any beaver-related business needs), just come here instead! Also the Exxon pumps have tap to pay. Yay!
