The food was as delicious as ever. We always order the grilled octopus and it's a must every time, perfectly tender and full of flavor. This time we also tried a small shrimp ceviche that had a great balance of acidity and spice. We finished with the grilled fish, which was soft, fresh, and really tasty. The grilled fish tacos were tasteless, the shrimp nachos were covered with cheese that tasted like glue and the shrimp were simply laid on top, no seasoning. And to make matters worse, we can only pay with cash. I went to the cash machine and made a mistake thinking I was getting American $$ but ended up taking out only $17 in pesos which cost $8. I had to do it again and that cost another $8. That aside, the food in this establishment was simply inedible.

When we arrived, there was no one else at the restaurant yet. The server informed us that they were only accepting cash because the credit card machine was not working. Despite this, the staff was very attentive, frequently checking on us and taking our orders promptly. My kids got lemonade, and my wife and I enjoyed Victoria beers. We ordered fish, shrimp, and sirloin tacos, with the fish tacos being my favorite. My kids had chicken with mole and cheese empanadas. The food was delicious! Whole grilled octopus -- absolutely incredibly prepared. Tender, so much flavor, and the potatoes are delish. Deep fried soft shell crab taco -- favorite bite! This thing is HUGE! All four of us got one and loved this most. Shrimp molcajete -- think Mexican gravy with seafood. And some fried cheesy stick things that oozed and the cheese just didn't stop!
