No personal call to set up an appointment. No acknowledging my experience. Just covering your perspective When you take any kind of customer service course or even personal development, it talks about the stuff when things don't go right where you get the nuggets. I offered you a gift. Really, it wasn't until I was talking to a few of my older neighbours that I found that was a trend. We can all have bad days. Sad thing, I went out of my way to come back to Pivot because of my experience in the past. So even as a repeat customer, I felt confident that your people would help me figure out what was happening as my knee didn't feel like other insignificant injuries. I trusted you. When I tell you your Dr nor your physio DID NOT tell me to set another appointment, nor did your front desk staff when they took my payment, your response is to tell me I am wrong. And to find out if there is any sign of arthritis, something volunteered by your person, I need to pay you all more money to find that out when there is nothing here showing me that you care one iota about my experience at all. Actions speak louder than words. I really hope you use this as a training tool. I can tell you that this experience had me quite down at the thought of not being able to be physically active, a Grief inducing event. Thankfully I have others who helped me. PS, I said nothing about how hard you have to work to get where you are. Not once did I mention the names of your people so there is respect I do understand hard work and commitment so the fact that you felt it necessary to tell me all about you and all of your accomplishments speaks volumes.

They suggested everything my current physiotherapist has been suggesting and they didn't try to sell me services. They know I have an upcoming appointment with a rheumatologist and they told me to come back to them if the rheumatologist doesn't figure out the cause of my problem. I was really happy with their honesty and how they work with their clients. If I was looking for a new physiotherapist, I would definitely consider coming here. Hopefully they will be able to help you with whatever pain/injuries you may be experiencing.

Her skills are beyond exceptional. I get relief, exercises to help myself and learn about the places my muscles get 'sticky'. Michele never suggests return visits unless she knows my body will require one. I have also worked with a number of her physiotherapists and there's no doubt that the standards for excellence at this clinic are extremely high. My results speak for themselves as I often can't recall for sure which side of my body or exactly which place in my body I sought treatment. As a long time yoga teacher, I know my body and pay attention when something is out of alignment. Their fees are on the high side but one can waste a lot of time and money seeking less expensive therapy and not get the results you want to get on with life. Trust me. I know. Odd views about concussions held by Cameron Marshall DC…read more I cannot tolerate concussion specialists who claim concussions are just transient biochemical imbalances that cause temporary energy deficiencies as Dr Marshall does. He discounts the connection between concussions and CTE as unproven. He claims concussions are not physiological injuries to the brain because they cannot be imaged. (They can). I have never met Dr Marshall personally. I have just seen his erroneous claims published online and confronted him for his false claims. He has most of the concussion recovery protocols correct but if he leaves a concussion patient with the false belief that he has no injury, especially any lasting or even permanent damage, that patient is likely to engage in greater risk activities. I guess he is looking for return patients.

The therapist that supervises my treatment, Jake, was extremely thorough and took all the time necessary to study my posture, my feet, my muscles and all the components that are necessary to really understand where the pain comes from. He also had the patience to explain me everything and more about back/leg anatomy, nerve locations and what not and answered every question I had before programming my treatment. I feel in such good hands every time that I come here, I only can recommend it if you are looking for a good Physiotherapy clinic.

The staff at this clinic are very nice and professional, and I know they have more than one clinic but I went to the Etobicoke one. There I met Patricia. Patricia was kind, caring and personable. She made me feel comfortable and empathized with my situation. She was also very knowledgable and this was evident during my treatments. I am fortunate enough to have a portion of my treatments covered and i continued my sessions at my own expense because there is great value in the services that Physiotherapy provides. I highly recommend this clinic.

I enthusiastically recommended the service to my wife, who has chronic, debilitating jaw pain resulting from corrective surgery in 2018 that failed to remedy her problems. She reached out to the in-house expert on her type of treatment, a co-owner who operates out of the West End offices. He derisively communicated to her that she must've been looking to use up her insurance money, implying that her need wasn't real. When she wrote back informing him how offended she was by the way he'd communicated with her, rather than acknowledge his lack of professionalism, he attacked her for calling his behaviour into question. Is this the kind of thing for which you want to be known, Synergy? My wife has been dealing with jaw pain, with migraines, with debilitating health issues all of her adult life, and she's struggled to find a physiotherapist who could effectively treat her. I really believed Synergy might've been the place for her, but how could I recommend this company to anyone if one of their co-owners could behave in such an abusive manner to someone living in chronic pain seeking treatment? Again, I've had nothing but positive experiences with the two people who treated me - Jess and Rebecca on the East End are outstanding practitioners. But the man who interacted with my wife is a co-owner of Synergy, and I still can't believe how negatively he treated someone who is desperate for help. What a disappointment.

She has been my PT for about a year and a half now and has taught me so many things about my body's structure I never would've known. However, I find the prices a bit pricey and that it runs very business-like. If you are late, you can only use what time you have left and you'll have to pay for the full. If you miss your appointment completely, like Zoe says below, you are charged a fee. It's a bit of a hassle because sometimes emergencies happen and the last thing you want is an amount owing for an appointment you weren't able to make it to. There are times where your waiting and even if the personnel is late, though they try to give you that time back, sometimes they can't and you're paying full price for a partial visit which is a bit annoying and unfortunate. The facilities however are very clean and modern. The approach is holistic and really makes you think about how your entire body works as a whole. That being said, if my PT ever left, I'd follow her to her next clinic.

The physio did the job but it was recommended that I buy a tenz unit. I agreed seeing as insurance would cover the 500. cost. Just for fun I decided to look for it on Amazon . The same unit they sold  me for 500. went for 120. I had a consultation with their doctor ( forget who. Bald, Polish...) about knee pain. He sent me next door for Xrays and upon seeing them told me I needed surgery or shots which he could furnish. The shots would let me ski and do all sorts of things.I was terrified so I called my gp and she sent me to the orthopaedic surgeon at St. Joes who sent me for a lot more Xrays. When he saw the result he told me I had very mild arthritis that was normal for a man my age and weight. He strongly discouraged shots. I had massages with several therapists. All were competent. None were there for very long. When I started going there I asked if they did direct billing . They said they did so I asked that they do so. So imagine my surprise when presented for a bill of a $1000. dollars. They had not done what they said they would. I won't go back.

There are several different employees at this location providing a wide range of services. The only thing I find is that several of them have changed quite a bit so I don't always see the same person for the same things which sometimes is irritating since there's no relationship building and every time feels like an initial assessment. I have also bought some items through their services as well. I've bought compression stockings a soft knee brace and orthopedic does and insoles. All of these items have been good quality. Lastly the location is a bit far for me to travel so I don't come here regularly and I won't in the future either. If you live close by our don't mind the traveling then you should give them a try. Make sure to call ahead and make an appointment.

I knew it was a long shot for an appt and they were booked when I could make it but the doctor spoke to me over the phone and gave me some advice on stretches I could do to get through the weekend. If my back is still hurting next week will definitely go here as you can tell they put their patients first. Excellent service!
