Having an acute tear of the rotator cuff at 61 sounded like a death sentence seeing as I do a lot of work with my hands and arms, but only seven weeks in and I can't believe the progress we have made. I say "we" because this is not an isolated process and my therapist, Peyton Ciesco, has been amazing. Peyton is skilled at knowing just where I am in my recovery process and tailors each session to that level of therapy. She is friendly, yet also firm in challenging me to use the proper techniques, which I know will lead me to a successful recovery in the long run.
