They seem to have a lot of high tech machines for doing electro stuff, so if that's what you need, they have it. 5 stars for my therapist, Michael and the front desk staff. 2 stars for the gym bro atmosphere. Also my co-pay was mysteriously higher here than other places (and not just the "materials cost" you pay every time even if you didn't get new stretchy bands or whatever. ETA: they send a lot of emails that are "No Reply" which is irritating.

I've seen him for various issues related to shoulder/arm dysfunction, and he's focused on long-term health, mobility, and strength. His relaxed nature allows him to connect easily with patients. Recently, I've needed weekly manual support and dry needling to prepare for an intensive fly fishing trip, and he's been as passionate as me to help me heal and prepare. I've had dry needling with various PTs in Atlanta, and there's something to be said about Tony's approach -- that he teaches other practitioners on the weekends speaks to his incredible skill and knowledge.

The treatments were helpful from the initial session through the very last one (I did 5 weekly sessions to begin with). Not only has he reduced the discomfort, clicking, and cracking in my jaw, but systemically he's helped my neck, which led to improvements in my posture and by extension, gone is the shoulder pain and discomfort I've lived with for several decades. Tony's unique combination of needling and muscular release, and the simple strengthening home exercise routine he gave me, created an experience was greater than the sum of its parts. Tony not only improved the functioning of the joint, but recommended simple but effective lifestyle changes (making my workspace more ergonomic for example). All in all, his work has not only impacted the problem I went to see him for, but has had overarching positive effect on my day to day health. The last thing I'll mention is that he was incredibly effective at communicating throughout each session (and at the start of the session in reference to the work he had done the session before). He was invested in knowing how each component of the therapy felt, in the moment, and long term. He was sensitive to not only communication through words, but also body language. I found that some of the sensations defied being put into words, and in those moments he helped me bridge the gap through his extensive experience as a therapist and educator in the field. And I'm glad I did. I tried my primary care physician and they said, "well, you're getting older, try resting it (after 2 months of rest). And btw, cut back on the Advil" and then charged me $250+. Ingrid @intown was so warm and easy to talk to. After the first visit I was already feeling better. Not 100% but noticeably better. Dry needling is a weird therapy, but I'm now a believer. I was also given some exercises to help strengthen my elbow/tendons. After 4 visits, maybe 5, I was pain free. We have a high deductible plan through my wife's company and I paid 50ish per visit. I made tremendous progress toward total recovery from an auto accident that required lower back surgery last year. Anniz was not only very capable, she was extremely patient, working very hard to insure that I did all the exercises properly and understood the purpose of each exercise to insure that I was getting the full benefit of all our sessions. She was working under a handicapped as I have to wear hearing ads but while in the water I was unable to wear them but thanks to her skill we were still able to communicate. Tyler did a great job of understanding the issue, developing a plan to address it and then executing the plan over 6 weeks. Each week after my in-person PT session (stretching, massage, dry needling, exercises) I received an email after the session with my exercises, stretches to do at home.
