STAY AWAY! This company has tried to charge me for services that were covered by my insurance company, no manager is ever avabiable to talk to. I have sent copies of my insurance payment and yet they say I owe the money! WELLNOW is committing INSURANCE FRAUD by taking payment from the insurance, and then bulling the patient to pay as well! read more

Extremely long wait times. I came for a followup appointment, still had to wait in line even though I was scheduled. 40 minutes and they only took 1 person. Rescheduled for another day and I ended up waiting an hour in the waiting room and another hour sitting in my room waiting for the doctor to come. Doctor Joseph is rude and close minded and not a good listener and is not empathetic to what I was going through. When I started trying to explain why I was here he said just get to the point. I was doing my best but I guess he didn't want to hear it. I can't get into details but the hole time I was trying to explain myself he didn't want to understand or believe me. And I spoke to an other person that worked there and they said he is a blunt doctor. And when he saw that I was upset he asked why and I said bc he was being rude and he just dismissed me by saying he can't pleases everyone. read more

Went in for UTI symptoms. They gave me a cup and said nothing. Gave zero instructions. Provided no wipes that are important before doing the urine catch, especially as a female. Then when done had no paper towels in there! Nowhere to set it down except floor or sink which are both unsanitary for my sample or person using the sink next. Had to leave it there to go out with wet hands and alert them. I also voiced with frustration that it wont be an accurate test since they didnt have me do what is always required. I shouldnt have to tell them how to do their job. I also voices this to the doctor that saw me and he expressed absolutely no concern whatsoever of their failure to provide proper guidance and supplies. At that point I was just like give me the script I need to get better. I can't imagine what that will cost. That will be my next review I am sure. These places shouldn't be providing care if they ARENT doing it right. If we have to pay unaffordable premiums and out of pocket costs, the least they could do is provide QUALITY of care! I could have done what they did. This continues to happen because people are never accountable anymore. Just so disheartening. read more

I had a 10:00 appointment. I was not taken in until 10:30. An hour later and still have not been seen by the ONE provider on duty and it is now 11:40. Not sure why they accept appointments but don't honor them. One provider is far from sufficient at the height of a very busy flu/noro/rsv season. The employees have been polite, they did offer me a drink and snack. I took that to mean I will be here for quite some time. Not a good company that sets their employees up for failure through lack of adequate staffing. Although I am sure it is profitable for the corporate level employees. Avoid if possible!!! read more

I was seen & treated by my PCP last week for exacerbation of my asthma due to a common cold - I was given steroids for 4 days, my last dose was last Thursday. Late last night and this morning I could tell I wasn't feeling as good, and surmised it was because I was experiencing a rebound effect from the steroids. I have been to Physicians Immediate Care before and had a positive experience. Wait times were doable, friendly staff and providers. I was seen by a Lolalin, NP, she was very kind and thorough. She ordered a chest X-ray, r/o any pneumonia. And prescribed me the necessary medications . Can't say enough about the level of care and kindness. Did you know they have their own pharmacy on site?! Unreasonable wait time, unacceptable "care". He to a different clinic if you are able. I was sent here on a Workers Comp on behalf of work. Being thanksgiving weekend, I expected them to be booked and thought maybe they could have been very busy. I saw 3 people upon getting in and they were all attended to within 30 minutes. But, here I am a whooping 1 hour and 30 minues later. Sure this visit is off a workers comp, but still, shouldn't I still be attended to? Nurses, front desk receptionists, even doctors go to doctors too. If this is you, would you want to wait this long? If it wasn't for workers comp I would never come here again. Terrible. read more

Came here for my DOT medical and this was a far worse experience than actually having to get my CDL A. They refused to speak with my doctors themself regarding my medications. However were aware I needed a medication verification form approval they said that could take 45 days! I talked to my doctor and this office for over a week getting this form worked out. They never initially sent the fax of the form over and once my doctor sent it back they "never received it" waited 2+ hours when I had an appointment for my DOT exam. Then once I'm at the Secretary of State they tell me these mentally challenged people never put that I wear corrective lenses. And after making a total of 8 trips I had to make a 9th trip to this hell hole! Just to fix their mistake and get my corrected card . AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE FOR A DOT EXAM THEY SUCK! read more

I have been to this location a few times for work related blood draws and physicals. First off, do not come here if you are in a time crunch, you'll wait up to 1 hour for a blood draw. If you are coming here to get a pre-employee physical, you'll be here a minimum of 2.5 hours. The front desk staff are unable to tell you how long the approximate wait is. They do triage here; but surprisingly, they do not have a separate space for routine things like I mentioned above, work physicals and blood draws... everyone is triaged together. I will say, that this location is relatively clean and the staff are very friendly-- but in all honesty, if I needed immediate care services, I would go over to the Northwestern location down the street; so much quicker. read more

I came to this place as a walk in appointment with a painful work injury. After they took my information and my license, people kept coming in and were being seen before me the moment they were registered while I waited. After waiting about two hours, I went to the receptionist to ask about my turn. She stated that the people that were being called in had appointments. I let another hour pass, and still no luck. This is when I told the receptionist I had been here more than three hours and people keep getting called in and I still haven't. She responded that there was nothing she could do, and that I needed to wait my turn. I politely asked for my information to be returned to me and took my business elsewhere, where I was called in not even five minutes into waiting. Very unprofessional for a place that is supposed to be called an "immediate care" facility. read more

This place reminds you that there are way too many people seeking healthcare, than healthcare workers. Be prepared to wait hours, even if you schedule an appointment. I'm not even sure why they offer appointments. It sets you up to be disappointed. Once you get to the back area, the care is fine, and it's nice that they have the ability to do x-rays. I had a very disturbing experience at physicians immediate care last week. Despite going here previously, and having a $75 copay that I paid after my visit, this weekend they said they were under new ownership with new policies. I provided my insurance again which had not changed, and they shared I would owe $131 "deposit" prior to my visit this time. I let them charge my card, but then came up to ask how they had gotten this amount etc. Upon further questioning they shared they actually had not looked at my benefits and just kept saying "this is what they were told to do". They provided no detail or explanation for their charges. I decided to leave without being seen because of how strange this was, and requested a refund, which they refuse to respond to me or follow up on. I would not recommend going anywhere near this facility. read more

Arrived early for a rapid covid test, definitely not feeling well at all. Been sitting here in my truck for over 2.5 hours waiting for them to call me in. I have watched over 30 people come and go while waiting. Asked them how much longer and was informed 4 people were still ahead of me...how is that even possible? I went in to have a pre-employment physical and a couple of tests done. I had made an appointment prior to this at 1:20 PM. The nurse didn't call me back until 2:30 (although it could've possibly been later than that). I even had to go up to the desk and the secretary said the wait time would be longer because there were two people ahead of me (even though I had an appointment). The nurse kept coming in and out of the exam room because she had to keep getting things, like the blood pressure cuff. Each time she left, she came back ten minutes later, so I had to spend more time waiting in the room. I asked how long it would be until I saw the doctor and she said about ten minutes. About 40 minutes later, the doctor finally comes in, does my physical, and does the other two tests. I was asked to wait in the exam room for a bit. Then, after about another 20 minutes, another nurse came in and he confirmed everything and said I could leave. I was extremely disappointed with the wait time. This was a relatively simple procedure that should've taken me maybe 30-45 minutes from the time I cam in to the time I left. I don't feel like the front desk secretaries were very aware of the wait times they gave to people. They let other people in before me but I had a reserved appointment time. If you're looking to make an appointment here, you might not have to. You'll end up waiting a lot and you'll be put in the line for the next available space. read more

I tested positive for Covid and came here because my regular doc doesn't work on weekends. I have high blood pressure and asthma and wanted some recommendations to stay on top of this illness. Everyone in the office is lazy and uncaring. The doctor is so condescending and unhelpful. He didn't even come into the room to speak with me. He just communicated through his nurse who was also unhelpful and condescending! These guys truly are the Kmart of health care! Avoid at all costs. They just want to bill you and make you feel like crap because you are sick! read more

I do not recommend this facility. If you have a choice, do not use this organization. If you have to use Physicians Immediate Care - don't go to this one in Aurora. I'm required to have 2 TB tests for an organization that I'm volunteering for, so I've visited this place 4 times. In May I walked in right as the doors were unlocked in the morning - there was no one else there, and I still had to wait 30 minutes. But that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm writing about what happened recently. I had reserved my spot for the first appointment of the day at 8:04am, hoping to avoid another 30-minute wait because I have to get to work as soon as possible. I spoke with the receptionist, she took my TB test card and told me to have a seat. After 15 minutes, I'm puzzled why other people are getting called back before me. After 20 minutes I get a text that my appointment has been cancelled! I go up and show the receptionist, she says it's not cancelled and THEN gives me forms to fill out - even though I had pre-registered. I had to ask what happened. That's when the truth came out: she had clicked the wrong button when I arrived and accidentally cancelled my appointment. And then it takes another 15 minutes before I can go in for a 10-second look at my arm. I wasn't upset with the mistake itself - I get it, I make them all the time. However, I had to wait 45 minutes due to her carelessness and she doesn't even show common courtesy by apologizing. When I was finished seeing the nurse, who was mercifully quick, I calmly told the receptionist that I understand making mistakes, no big deal, and offered feedback that an apology goes a long way to making people feel better when that happens - and she just stared at me. I wasn't expecting an apology at that point, of course, but hope that in the future she might show more consideration to those impacted by her mistakes. I will say the nurses have been competent and friendly, and one apologized during a different visit for my wait. But I will never come back to this place again. read more

I came here because I had an ear infection and Brian Minardi prescribe some ear drops to clear it up. After using the ear drops I didn't have any improvement so I reached out to the office. I was instructed that I need to follow up with a real doctor and that they could do nothing more for me. Don't waste your time or money with this place. It was a total waste of $165 for the visit and $20 for the medicine that did not help. Just go see a real doctor! read more

My husband went in with sob and dizziness. He had almost blacked out earlier in the day. Well it was July 4th about 330 pm and my guess is they wanted to close. Even though he had a history of cardiac issues they told him it was probably heat stroke and to go home. If no better by morning see your Dr or the Er. No ekg or blood test which would have shown a heart attack. I contacted them after he ended up in the Er and not only did they still bill my insurance but after saying they would contact me never bothered. Terrible service and no follow up. read more

My appointment was at 12:24 pm why the 24 idk but I went for it I was there on the dot, paid out of pocket for a Covid test, they tell you stay in your car we'll call you half an hour pass no response from them no boggy I understand but 1:24 pm pass by so I give them a call they say, oh it looks like you are next it will be five minutes it seems like they are trying to get some people out and disinfect the room I was like ok I am next I hung up but guess what 2:18 came so I give them a call they say okay you are next they just getting the room disinfect it for you it says that the call time for you is 2:16 pm I am like well if is 2:18 pm now yeah no I know they'll call you in like a minute... 2:38pm pass by I go in and you know what the person in front says to me oh yeah there is 2 people in front of you I am like but 20 minutes ago I was next!! She is like yes idk what to tell you but there is 2 people in front of you so I go like Can I cancel the appointments she is like yes your money will be rein versed this next Wednesday so I go like at this point with all this dishonesty about the timing I am like Can I have a proof of that she goes like no the only thing I'll be sending is an email and so I say can you cc me on that email she is like no can't do that either so if I am writing this is like kind of like a receipt for my $240 dollars that as they said will be return to my card this Wednesday. read more

So I woke up around 5:30 Sunday morning with a killer ear ache (I have a medical history riddled with ear-related issues), and knew I needed to go see a doctor pronto. I looked up doctor's offices open on a Sunday and still covered by my insurance, and came across this location. It was on my way home, and I could make an online appointment - perfect for the mothers day deadline I was on. The facility was clean and the staff were all friendly. I get in a room and see a doctor within 10 minutes, which is virtually unheard of in any medical office. While this was all phenomenal, there was one thing that threw me for a loop (hence the missing stars). That would be the medical professionals writing down my vital statistics on a PAPER TOWEL! I mean, come on!! This is 2014! There must be some other way to get my CONFIDENTIAL health statistics into your system! At least get a notepad or something, for Christ's sake. And considering you made me sign a waiver stating I received instructions on how to get rid of the infection on an iPad, I think you can do a bit better than paper towels that I'm sure went into a trash can instead of a paper shredder. Overall, my experience wasn't bad, but I definitely think their confidential note taking methods need work. read more

I was getting my medical card. After getting it. And, half way to the DMV I realized my old address was on it. I'm glad I double checked before I stood in that long line at the DMV. I say the blame is 50/50. I should have made sure before I left that my new address was on there. Really, it's a minor grievance. But since the Aurora clinic is one of the most expensive places to get a medical card. I thought I'd mention it. The nurse was really nice and super positive. And the doctor was one of the kindest doctors I've ever run across while getting my medical card. I sometimes have full blown panic attacks at hospitals and being around doctors. But the staff was really kind and just made me feel at ease. I drove from Chicago because I thought the old building was still open. Its where i used to go when I lived and worked in Aurora. I am a creature of habit. I was at first apprehensive, new location and being one of the more expensive places to get a medical card. I was paying out of pocket - and the long commute from Chicago. It was worth it. I'll be back, when it comes, to renewing my next medical card. read more

Come in for a TB test (with appointment). Wait 35 minutes. Get taken back to room-- nurse starts taking my vitals. I remind her that I'm here for a TB. She complained about lack of communication among staff, as she wasn't aware I was there to receive a TB. Come back 2 days later to have my TB test read. Takes 30 minutes to get called back to a room for the nurse to look at my arm and write down the results. Needless to say, this facility is lacking professionalism and timeliness. Will not be going back. read more
