The best food in the Indooroopilly food court hands down. Also excellent for Vietnamese food. BUT NOTE, IT'S CASH ONLY! I've never had a bad meal here. EVER! I go here at least once a week, for the past 2 years, soooo, it's not my first rodeo. I've also had pretty much everything on the menu, and never had a bad meal. Favourites include: Crispy skin chicken (good lord is it delicious) Seafood Laksa It's a little bit more expensive than anything else in the food court (c. $16) but I would also say it's around 40x better tasting than anything else in the food court too, so well worth it. The 'Phuc Deli' (pronounced "Fook", not like that 4 letter word) may be a little pricey in comparison to the other food available in the food court but that because it actually offers food a restaurant quality. In general, the quality and taste of this food is pretty high but I do feel some of the dishes are not worth the money as much as others. The one dish I often order is the Viet Salad. I like to alternate what meat I get as they are all delicious but if I had to pick a favourite it would be the grilled beef which is flavoured with lemongrass. Since I had planned to write a review, upon my last visit I decided to try a version of the salad I had not tried before- the one accompanied by spring rolls. I must say it was delicious! The crispy texture along with the vermicelli noodles and cucumber was interesting and the flavours all blended together really well. My sister, who was dining with me, ordered her favourite dish- Beef Pho. Although she likes it, I do not think the broth is quite right and is a bit watery. Considering it costs $15, I can't help but think I have had better Pho for cheaper. She seems to like it though so I guess it is just a matter of taste and opinion. Just based on the salad, I am giving this place a 4 star rating! It is literally my favorite salad to order out. Phuc Deli Viet offers a range of reasonably Vietnamese dishes that will be sure to get your mouth watering. Phuc Deli Viet is like a special treat for myself. As the meals average around $15, sometimes I treat myself there on my lunch break or after a big night out. The food itself is consistently delicious, so long as you order something that you know you'll enjoy. Today I took a risk on some sort of noodle meatball concoction that honestly turned out to be a bit of a let down. With this in mind, the rice and curry dishes I've had here before were absolutely sensational. I was slightly frustrated by the cashier who was reluctant to tell me what the most popular dish was or what she particularly enjoys. I suppose she didn't want to give me a bias answer, but just take the risk! The serving sizes are pretty huge and will keep even the most ravenous diner full for at least a couple of hours. I particularly appreciate the side of salad that comes with most meals. I always enjoy incidentally eating healthy before inevitably returning to my grease soaked diet. All in all, Phuc Deli Viet is definitely worth a look if you're tired of food court food. This being said, this type of dining comes at a slightly more expensive price, but it's really worth it - especially if one is in the mood. Apart from the Pho my favourites are there salads - vermicelli rice noodles and mixed veges topped with grilled chicken, lemongrass beef or king prawns with a zesty Vietnamese dressing. There is only one reason why I visit Phuc Deli on a regular basis, and it's one that I'm sure my gym instructor would be ashamed to hear - the ice kacang. It is so deliciously sweet and refreshing that I absolutely cannot resist walking past the store without ordering (at least one) serving of it. In case you're not well-versed in South-East Asian desserts, ice kacang derives from Malaysia and is a shaved ice dessert drizzled in sweetened condensed milk and covered in an assortment of jellies, red beans and tapioca pearls. In other words; heaven in a bowl. And here they make it to perfection - it's mountainous, drizzled in sweet rose syrup and it's got my Malaysian friends raving about it. For food court food, Phuc Deli Viet, is certainly at a league above the rest. Unlike its other food court buddies, this place serves delicious and authentic style food. It is restaurant quality and food court food at it's best. Food here is really good! It is easy to go on about it and describe every dish I've had. There is one particular dish they do here which I believe is one of the best I've had comparatively. Surprisingly, it is the Laksa! Although laksa is traditionally a Malaysian cuisine, the style in which Phuc Deli Viet make it, is akin to none. Their laksa's have a great balance between spice and creaminess, unlike other places who shy away from too much spice and make it far too creamy. Ick. I like the laksa here so much, that I've made an event of going there as often as I could. It is also good to note it is conveniently located just below the cinemas. Before, I used to decide on movies first before coming here, but now, I choose to eat here first, then decide on movies as an added bonus. It may sound a bit over the top- but it's true. 5 stars for the Crispy skin chicken with rice. Consistently great. Efficient service. So tasty. I am not sure what the chicken is dusted in before it is fried but it is flavoursome without being salty and so crisp. The ginger dipping sauce is delicious. I enjoy this dish by spooning the ginger sauce over the chicken then eating it before the sauce has a chance to turn the crispy skin soft. These two are an unbeatable match and the rice just gives you a nice little break before going back for another burst of flavour which borders on umami. The BEST fried chicken ! Delicious. Before I tried the chicken I was partial to the sugar cane prawn salad bowl and the caramelised pork salad bowl rates a mention too for its good balance of flavours. Since I haven't ventured through the whole menu I cant comment on anything else. Just keep getting that delicious crispy skin chicken with rice over and over again. I have been wanting to try this place for a while but it's cash only and I almost never carry cash on me (I lose my wallet way too much for this to be an option for me). I went with the Vietnamese chicken salad which was a really good Vietnamese salad. The salad was fresh and it had that yummy Vietnamese dressing that had soaked through the Vermicilli noodles. The only part that I wasn't happy with was the price. $15 for an Asian salad in what is essentially a food court outlet is a little steep. I've just had the most horrifying experience at your restaurant. We've been frequenting your eatery for the best part of 10 years and have always had a fantastic experience there. Today, however, after putting through a big order of approximately $130 for our family, the cashier pointed to the "no outside food" sign. I explained that, as I had a 2 year old, I had brought food with me for him. He said it would be fine, as long as it was not outside food. I explained that it wasn't from your restaurant and, hence, was "outside" food. After quite a convoluted conversation with him, I asked to speak to his manager. I have to say, I've never been spoken to in such a condescending, dismissive manner by a staff member of any restaurant. She insisted she didn't have time to talk to me as she was very busy, rolled her eyes several times, insisted she refund my money and i "just leave" or "go away". She told me she had asked several people to leave your restaurant that morning as they had brought in outside food. I asked for her name to put in my concerns at how we had been treated, she refused to give me her name, asking me to "go away and just leave- I refund your money, eat somewhere else". Finally, after realising I was getting no where and being treated just awfully, I conceded and she refunded my money as the food I had ordered arrived!!! I asked again about being able to complain about the customer service at the restaurant- she then eventually gave me a business card and shooed me away! She also insisted she was the most senior manager/ person I could relay my concerns to at your restaurant at any stage/ time. Let me be very clear about what I am so very disappointed about: whilst I do understand you have rules which do need to be enforced all around, to have no flexibility around the food items (purchased from a supermarket) for a baby is downright dismal! To treat any human being (let alone someone who had just spent $130) in the way I was treated by your staff, is utterly atrocious. I understand you may not need my business at all (and this is perfectly fine)- but part of any flourishing business is to be kind, flexible and respectful to your patrons. If you cannot do this, you then can at least not insist you do not need their business or shoo them away- all because they brought in supermarket or store-bought food for their 2 year old. read more

The food here is pretty good considering its in a food court. The laksa is awesome. Just be aware they operate on a cash only basis which I'm a bit wary of. Most of their staff can barely speak English and you need to really listen out for your number being whispered out in the busy food court. read more
