This was a great experience overall. Lauren took care of me and was a great beauty expert. We had plenty of interesting conversation. We had a wonderful relaxing experience. The pedicure was really out of this world. My hands and feet feel so smooth! My best friend's husband got us a gift card to take care of the appointment. When I got to the counter, we didn't have enough on the gift card. I believe he was misquoted on the service's prices but there was also a "service charge" tacked on that we were unaware of. I proceeded to take care of it but was slightly annoyed that we experienced the same thing in the Spa. The SPA and SALON should be transparent about all of their charges if there are giftcards included. Please don't just list the service and catch your guests off guard at the register. It dampens the whole experience. The parking validation was the same. We ended up paying something extra even after it was validated. Also, this "service charge" only pays 16% to the service tip so it wasn't even going directly to the nail technicians.

I am happy to say I have finally found a place that can do great work. I didn't have much time today to try out other services. They are a full service salon. But I will for sure be back. The lady that did my eyebrows is named Pinki. Also, another lady there was doing beautiful haircuts. Keep in mind this place is located on the second floor. It's totally worth the tiny detour.

Came in, the staff was welcoming but kept trying to upcharge me which is normal. it's a business. I used Natalie was super professional and efficient. At the beginning, I was told I was getting a "first time customer" discount and would pay $90. At the end, I was charged $110 and when I asked they said "oh that stylist charges an extra $20." I had never heard of that before but it was no big deal and added an extra $10 as a tip bringing it to $120. the next time & came in was January, and I used the same stylist, but without the discount I was charged $130. I added an extra $10 for Natalie as a tip and went on my way. then came February and I came in a week before my wedding. I specifically came in early in case there was any irritation in my eyes so there would be time for it to go away. I used the same stylist, Natalie, who had done nicely the first 2 times so naturally i trusted her with my wedding look. after the service I came out to pay and they charged me $250. TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. I was shocked. I asked the young ladies at the counter why it was $250, they said because that's the price. ok.. I asked for the price breakdown. they pulled out a menu and just started pointing at random things on it and acted confused when I said "that doesn't add up to $250". I told them I had paid $130 just 4 weeks prior, they opened my accounts and verified it. then told me I still had to pay $250. I asked for a manager, they said she wasn't there but they would call her. they got her on the phone and I could literally hear her speaking rudely about me on the phone asking why I wasn't agreeing to pay. I asked to speak with her and told her that the price I was being charged wasn't adding up based on what I'd paid before. she then claimed that I was given a discounted price I said I was not and that when I paid $130, the price had been broken down for me and there were no discounts. i handed the phone back to the young ladies behind the counter and over heard her saying "Well either way she needs to pay $250." No one was able to breakdown the price for me, no one was willing to. my budget for my wedding lashes was $150, I ended up paying $250 and the funny thing is I called some weeks later just to test a theory and asked what the cost of lashes with Natalie was and guess what the price was? $125. I am a frequent customer and lover of beauty services. I have been getting my nails done for years,…read moreeyelash extensions in the past, get my hair colored on a regular basis, have had my eyebrows micro bladed, etc. This is to say that I have experience both providing (I used to do nails for friends as a hobby) and receiving beauty services. I have NEVER experienced anything like the horrible service I received at Lashed Out Lash Studio. I arrived 15 mins early and Mariah was 15 mins late for my appointment time. I drove an hour and a half to come to see her. And ended up waiting in my car for 30mins. She did not take any visible precautions regarding COVID-19. When I arrived she did not really greet me or apologize that she was late and just walked into the "lash room". As she got things set up, I noticed how unorganized and dirty her work station was. When providing beauty services hygiene is a priority. There was no consultation- she did not ask about prior lash services I have received. I informed her this was my first time receiving a lash tint and lift. I began to get nervous. She then began the lash lift and tint. The process BURNED my lash line. It hurt and my eyes were watering the whole treatment. She then left me alone and walked into the other room while I am sitting with the chemicals on my eyes. This made me very uncomfortable as this is procedure is kinda dangerous. I am laying down with my eyes tapped. I can't see what is going on and I am concerned that I am going to have some eyelash or eye damage. After sitting through the lift process, she went on to the tint and the tint burnt so bad I told her it needed to be taken off. Now the treatment was done. I went to redeem the Groupon Voucher on my phone. After clicking the "View Voucher" part, she raised her voice at me. She said that I messed it up and now I couldn't get a refund. She said the Groupon was broken right now. And she wouldn't get paid, so she needed me to request a refund from Groupon and then pay her out-of-pocket. This made me very uncomfortable and told her I did not understand why that is necessary. Her voice got louder and then she started to repeat herself. She demanded that I request a refund on the Groupon App and pay her out-of-pocket in person. I responded that as a customer I do not feel comfortable paying out of pocket when the Groupon App looked like it was working just fine. The redeem button was active. I found it incredibly unprofessional of her to raise her voice at a customer. I also do not feel comfortable giving over my bank/card information to a lash technician yelling at me. I was not being rude. This is how Groupon works. As a beauty service provider, you are responsible for the payment system you choose to use. Being on Groupon offers business exposure and thus more customers. Groupon probably takes a part of the profit. She then yelled at me to leave and never come back to see her. That I was making her frustrated and wasting her time. It was only her and I in the lash studio and I did not feel safe. I quickly left. This whole appointment has been one of the craziest things I have experienced. As it turns out Groupon was working fine because I got an email and the service was marked as redeemed.

On another note, I have had my eyelashes lifted at four other salons and it was never a problem. After painfully trying to do a lash lift for 15 minutes he said that my "eyes were watering too much" and took off the under eye pads and told me he wouldn't be able to do it. I do have sensitive eyes, and it's a normal reaction for your eyes to water, but my eyes weren't even watering to the point of tear drops forming and he still said that he couldn't do it. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Don't waste your time or your money when plenty of other salons will do it for the same price and with better salon conditions.

I was immediately emailed confirmation info. On the day of my appointment I arrived about 15 minutes before. Bee was very warm and welcoming and asked a few questions about my skin, allergies and daily skincare regimen since it was my first session. The room was a bit cold but very clean with soothing tunes in the background. She provided a blanket for extra comfort and a fresh cap to cover your hair. The room is private and she was very professional the entire time. Prior to starting my facial she explained the process and products she would using. My facial consisted of deep cleaning, a chemical peel, extractions, a mask, exfoliating (not in this order), lots of steam, etc. I've had a facial before but nothing as detailed as Bee. Previous facials included a shoulder and neck massage, which I wish was included; nonetheless, she was very thorough and gave advice on what foods to avoid (that can iritate the skin). Although this was our first time meeting, she's very knowledgeable in her profession and I was very confident she would help improve my skin. You can choose to chit chat/ask questions or relax quietly, enjoy the tunes and be facialized. Before leaving, she had me look in the mirror and pointed out the problem areas that would improve overtime, with proper products and care. I loved how clean my skin felt and my glow was radiating! She also provided me with instructions and about a week's worth of product to use on my skin in the AM/PM (some of the products also used during my facial). If I run out before my next appointment luckily she has her own skincare line of the same products used that can be purchased. I love that! Pricing is reasonable and I look forward to returning in 4 weeks for another facial and follow-up appointment. If you're in the area, definitely give her a try- you won't be disappointed.
