Except for all the nice sweet small talk Mariah did with me, she also ripped off my skin on my arm after wax, and after that she didn't really bother or apologize for it. Not just that, her technique of waxing was horrible. I am a frequent customer and lover of beauty services. I have been getting my nails done for years, eyelash extensions in the past, get my hair colored on a regular basis, have had my eyebrows micro bladed, etc. This is to say that I have experience both providing (I used to do nails for friends as a hobby) and receiving beauty services. I have NEVER experienced anything like the horrible service I received at Lashed Out Lash Studio. I arrived 15 mins early and Mariah was 15 mins late for my appointment time. I drove an hour and a half to come to see her. And ended up waiting in my car for 30mins. She did not take any visible precautions regarding COVID-19. When I arrived she did not really greet me or apologize that she was late and just walked into the "lash room". As she got things set up, I noticed how unorganized and dirty her work station was. When providing beauty services hygiene is a priority. There was no consultation- she did not ask about prior lash services I have received. I informed her this was my first time receiving a lash tint and lift. I began to get nervous. She then began the lash lift and tint. The process BURNED my lash line. It hurt and my eyes were watering the whole treatment. She then left me alone and walked into the other room while I am sitting with the chemicals on my eyes. This made me very uncomfortable as this is procedure is kinda dangerous. I am laying down with my eyes tapped. I can't see what is going on and I am concerned that I am going to have some eyelash or eye damage. After sitting through the lift process, she went on to the tint and the tint burnt so bad I told her it needed to be taken off. Now the treatment was done. I went to redeem the Groupon Voucher on my phone. After clicking the "View Voucher" part, she raised her voice at me. She said that I messed it up and now I couldn't get a refund. She said the Groupon was broken right now. And she wouldn't get paid, so she needed me to request a refund from Groupon and then pay her out-of-pocket. This made me very uncomfortable and told her I did not understand why that is necessary. Her voice got louder and then she started to repeat herself. She demanded that I request a refund on the Groupon App and pay her out-of-pocket in person. I responded that as a customer I do not feel comfortable paying out of pocket when the Groupon App looked like it was working just fine. The redeem button was active. I found it incredibly unprofessional of her to raise her voice at a customer. I also do not feel comfortable giving over my bank/card information to a lash technician yelling at me. I was not being rude. This is how Groupon works. As a beauty service provider, you are responsible for the payment system you choose to use. Being on Groupon offers business exposure and thus more customers. Groupon probably takes a part of the profit. She then yelled at me to leave and never come back to see her. That I was making her frustrated and wasting her time. It was only her and I in the lash studio and I did not feel safe. I quickly left. This whole appointment has been one of the craziest things I have experienced. As it turns out Groupon was working fine because I got an email and the service was marked as redeemed. read more

Found Mariah on Groupon, and fell in love with the first picture I seen. She walked through each step of what she would be doing. And there was no burn or irritation. She explained the different curls and the lengths. Let me know tnau sincw my lashes measured @ 12, I could get anywhere from 12-15 inches. We talked and she made me very comfortable. It was no awkward silence, up until I dozed off lol. Will def be returning for my 2 WK refill. And she has a nice little referral deal. read more

There was a miscommunication at the beginning of my arrival. I had to wait about 25 minutes past my appointment since she was with another client. I purchased a Groupon but she text me that same day that is wasn't working, so I had to request a refund but she was able to take payment using her credit card machine for the service. I did the lash lift and tint. So far so good. I liked how it turned out and hoping it does last 4 weeks or more. read more

* ATTENTION THIS GIRL IS NOT AN EXPERIENCED LASH TECHNICIAN * * ZERO STARS * honestly y'all I hate leaving negative reviews but I don't want ANYONE going through what I went through today... I found this girl on yelp and she had a couple good reviews and a friend of mine has gone to her so I was very excited for my lash appointment. Well finding the place was a little difficult and once I finally did I was kinda rudely greeted.. didn't think anything of it came in filled out the consent form and she asked me what length I normally got I said I wasn't sure nobody had told me in the past .. but still didn't show me options or anything! I showed her pictures of inspiration which I will attach. Well then she asked me to lay down, well the bed had no paper on it so that's not always a welcoming feeling.. then without telling me she literally took tweezers and PLUCKED out the remaining 2 lashes on my eye.. Um excuse me that hurt like hell thanks. Then she began to tape my eye and every time she put the roll of tape down it got caught in my hair and would rip my hair out so that was uncomfortable. I've had my lashes done plenty of times and that's never happened .. well she started applying the lashes and at first it didn't hurt but then it felt like she was pinching me eye with the tweezers every other lash and I've never had the application of lashes hurt y'all .. well turns out she was applying them TO MY SKIN NOT MY LASHES.. she would shuffle through trying to isolate to apply more lashes and it felt like she was pulling out my lashes it was beyond painful.. I've never EVER had someone be so rough.. like pinching and plucking and pulling ugh I was in so much pain ! And every time she would brush the lashes she would scratch my eyelid so hard with the wand .. y'all I seriously can't express this enough it should not be like this!!! Well about an hour and 45 min later she finally finishes she removes the tape from one eye by RIPPING IT LIKE SHE WAS WAXING MY BROWS!!!!!!!!!! WITHOUT WARNING !!!!!!! Like if I hadn't been through enough pain already!!! Well little did I know the real pain would be in the reveal when I got to see wtf was causing me so much pain .. y'all I looked like a freaking clown are you joking.. she applied 15's on my small eyes .. I looked like a cheap stripper honestly I'm sorry .. it's the truth I was absolutely mortified. And she thought they looked good like girl noooooooo. I sat up then I guess she saw a few she didn't like and started ripping them off my eye!!!! I paid her for her service immediately ran to my car and called another lash place to get these off because I couldn't see out of my eyes or go around looking like this !! Got to my other lash appointment to have them removed and it was beyond painful because again she GLUED THEM TO MY SKIN!!!! she used a crazy amount of glue and they were not applied correctly. The lash technician said if I waited until tomorrow my eyes probably would have been so swollen. Took over an out to remove these crazy things and now my eyes are swollen and I had to take a Benadryl just to be sure I didn't have a worse reaction. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I'm sorry. Nobody should be in this much pain from lash extensions. read more

My experience with Mariah at Lashed Out Lash Studio was amazing! I got a Brazilian Wax and it was the best wax I had gotten! The wax she used gave the minimal amount of pain and she took her time and plucked the ingrown hairs. She was very professional, the music playlist was awesome and the conversation was great!
