Phones 4 u provides a large selection of phones and networks. I have found the staff there pleasant and well-informed. They have listened to my requirments from a phone and suggested suitable phones and tarrifs with no pressure felt for me to buy from them. They often have special offers as well as a 'managers special' which can vary from store to store. If you play ahrdball with them then you can usually get some extras thrown in for a minimal cost. Like most high street mobile phone stores Phones 4 U offer you the usual selection of moderatley priced tariffs and phones however upon my vist to the shop the standard sales spiel was delivered in a particularly unprofessional manner. I was flatly told several lies about the capabilities of the phone I was buying by a spikey haired goon that smelt like a tart's handbag. The staff regularly change in this shop but on my visit the manager had about as much charm as a Nazi war criminal. My experience with mobile phone stores tells me never to use them as the same, or better priced deals, are invariably available online. The only redeeming feature of a highstreet phone shop is the face to face customer service which, based on my experience, Shrewsbury's Phones 4 U would probably be better off doing away with. Phone 4 U will also likely attempt to sell you an insurance policy at a minimum of £4.99 per month (if not more) BE WARNED this policy simply NEVER expires and it is up to you to ring up and cancel it. The crooked cretins will continue to direct debit your account years after you stop using the contract phone it was orginally taken out to cover! This company has recently been investigated by OfCom and a simple internet search will reveal that they have an appalling track record of customer service.
