Also, he had a client when I got there whom he fixed up and then he took me immediately. Now, I'm back home in Norman and my little Samsung is sitting on its charger and it's up to 80% already. I learned a couple of things while I was watching him work. One, I'll never take the back off a smart phone and try to fix it, they're way too complicated! The man called me on Wednesday to give me an update, and he called me again on Thursday to let me know my laptop couldn't be fixed without a significant cost. It turned out to be an issue with the logic board which was out of my budget to fix as a student. During the phone call, the same guy explained the problem to me in incredible detail so I could make an informed choice about what to do next. I could tell his priority was finding a solution I was happy with because he kindly answered every question I had with a positive attitude and clear answers. I trusted his expertise a lot and I probably would have said yes to any service he recommended + I am appreciative he didn't treat my situation as a cash grab. I ended up buying a new laptop because it cost about $200 more than getting the logic board fixed. Per the man's recommendation, I purchased Apple Care, too. I highly recommend The MacMan!

He said he'd text me in a bit. I mean good on you but it was weird and awkward. I waited 2 hours to hear from him but I had to follow up only to her "screen touch doesn't work." Exactly what I told him in the beginning LOL. He said it would be $160 to repair for something that I already knew was wrong with it. I wish he would have just told me the price at the beginning so I didn't have to come back. When I did finally make it back there wasn't a "thank you, if you need anything come back," nothing... but "what's your work number." I can't speak to his abilities to repair things but the place looks a mess and customer service is meh. I normally don't leave reviews for every sub par experience I have but this time I wasn't impressed because my time was wasted all because he didn't listen to what I was saying.
