stopped in here because my iPhone 13 was not recording sound. They did a complementary cleaning for me and it still didn't work. Brought it back in a couple weeks later and they ran some test on it and found out one of my microphones was bad. Two hours later my phone is back in service and working like it was brand new. I bought a phone from them and about 5 or 6 months later the battery started malfunctioning. they replaced it twice - super quick and easy, no questions asked - and then it turned out it was a problem in the phone so they replaced the whole phone immediately that day. no paperwork, no hassle. they transferred all my data and gave me a new case because the original one I bought from them didn't fit anymore, and they gave me a screen protector. really some of the best customer service I have ever received anywhere. read more

Needed a new battery for my iPhone. Stopped in around the noon hour. Service was excellent. In and out in about 20 minutes. Observed the young man that was greeting customers as they arrived. I love this place! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They give you the cost of repair upfront and recommend against getting the device repaired if they think it is too expensive to get parts - even though they could have made money on selling you expensive parts and repairs. My wife dropped her phone on a slate tile floor........"no bueno". Needless to say, the floor won. The screen sufferred a couple of hairline cracks and was not usable. She was in total withdrawal without her phone. So after checking online, we made a round trip to an "authorized Samsung repair facility" at a Best Buy in south Salt Lake, only to be told that they didn't repair that model. Following that frustration, a friend mentioned that she thought there was a repair place in Heber, Ut, next to Smith's, which was only a 20 min drive for us. Called them and sure enough, they said they could repair her model, and only issue was that the screen had to be ordered and delivered the next business day. We dropped off the phone and picked it up 24 hours later....just like new. These guys (Thor and Raceland) are terriffic.....pleasant, polite, and efficient. They provide a great customer service experience. Reminded me of what things were like back in the 50s an 60s in the small town I grew up in ! Highly recommended ! read more

Took my phone in to have the back replaced because it was shattered. I mentioned that I was going to need a new phone soon because I was having to charge my phone a couple of times per day. The employee helping me stated that at 90% Apple recommended battery replacement - mine was at 89%. He stated that he could change my battery and when I said that in would take it to Apple He stated that Apple at Fashion Place sent their back log work to Phone Doc to do the work. I let them change the battery and the new battery did not last a full day. Four batteries, a new charging jack, and then a new front (because 3 white dots showed up on the iPhone 10 XR and that was the only way to get rid of them. I was also told after the second battery when things really started going bad that I was going to need a mother board. Almost two weeks after the new back and first battery I called Apple. Apple does not send work to Phone Doc and the recommend a new battery at 85%. I took my phone to Simply Mac in Park City where it was going to cost about $350-$400 for Parts only and there would be no guarantee that the mother board was not damaged and phone still would not work. They suggested that I go to Verizon and get a new phone. Verizon did give me a good trade in for my phone that worked perfectly prior to having Phone Doc work on it. I should not have needed to purchase a new phone when mine was only 2 years old. Phone Doc was generous enough to reimburse me just under $60 of the $180 I paid them to ruin my phone. When I told my daughter she asked me Why I let them work on it, did I not remember that when she had her battery replaced there three years ago and they ruined her phone as well. I would give them a negative 5 if I could. They cost me a lot of money that I was not expecting to Spend for at least three more years. read more
