While local Pho restaurants tend to overcharge (opinion) by $3-$4 per Bowl, it becomes worthwhile to "make the drive" to a perfect Pho restaurant. We will still visit locals on occasion, but Pho 101 has figured out perfect balance. They also make us feel welcome, which was never a particular concern, but it sets them apart from the competition. Their Boba Tea is like I've grown accustomed to on the U.S. West Coast. I don't understand why some Pho restaurants bring you actual cold Tea, but THESE are indistinguishable from fruit flavored Milkshakes...although they, at $5.95 each, are overpriced by $2. They are incredibly good. Mango, Blackberry, etc. Anyway, the Pho Nam (with Brisket) is incredibly good and with the load of fresh shoots and Thai Basil leaves provided. I-75N to Clark Rd. With some trepidation we entered Infuzions. It's great. We've been many times. So far the Thai side of the menu has been so good that we haven't turned it over to the Vietnamese side. Everything we've tried is tasty and authentic (for Thai food in the U.S.). The spicing levels are accurate and the service it good. And with all that it's next door to Detwiler's! A great place.

I have been eating pho since the mid-80's and have tried it in many states and a few countries, too. I was starting to feel discouraged because I had struck out a couple of times as I searched my area for a good place, the last being Demi's Noodle House, which served a terrible soup IMO. Thankfully, Pho Street came through! They have a nice building, a clean restaurant, and their servers were all extremely nice. No less than 3 people checked on me to make sure I was doing ok. The soup was served piping hot, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was excellent. I did ask for rare beef and it came a little overdone, but not bad at all. Next time I'll ask for it raw in the hopes that it comes on a separate plate. One thing I think can be improved on is the lemonade. It didn't taste like the fresh, homemade lemonade that you find in most Vietnamese restaurants, it tasted like it was from a machine. Beyond that, I'll be back to Pho Street a lot, probably even in the next day or two! Thanks for the great food and service!
