The food was simple and to the point, and absolutely delicious. I've tried many phos from different cities, and this place is definitely on the top of the list. I got the P5 that had the fatty flank, and everything was great. The broth is so rich and full of flavor that I couldn't stop drinking it, and the fatty flank just melts in the mouth. The portion is nice also, the small was just enough where I didn't feel stuffed, but definitely coming back for the large next time! I have always loved this place, until today. The food is great and the service is normally very good. Today, I couldn't get waited on to save my butt. Two people came in, got waited on AND SERVED THEIR MEALS, before I was even asked if I wanted a water. Inexcusable!!!! read more

The FloriBama area has great food, but the majority is American fare - seafood and steak restaurants. After a few days of eating the same kind of food with loud obnoxious live music amongst the beach going crowd, Phoever was a nice much needed change! I don't ever leave bad reviews, but I would not go to this place. I walked in at 7:50 because the Internet says they close at 8:30, and their menu says they close at 9 PM. Turns out they close at 8:00pm. I've worked in the industry, I would never show up at the end of their shift, but I'm in there with my daughter, four years old, and they were super rude, and told me that I could only do takeout. The food is great, I even tried the chicken wings and they were pretty good - just not where you want to go if your strictly wanting chicken wings. Only a good app. The egg roles and spring rolls are amazing. The Pho is my main subject in the review and worthy of 5 stars for my Pensacola standards. I thought the broth tasted great and everything else you add to it was very tasty. Though we have only eaten at Phoever around ten times we have been served generous portions of piping hot food and very cold beverages. Service can be a bit slow from kitchen and wait staff depending upon crowds but never excessively slow. Store is spotlessly clean; we have not had occasion to use restrooms so I can not rate them. read more

Amazing! Delicious Pho. I got the p.13 the vegetarian pho with fried tofu and the fried veggie spring rolls. I got my order for pick up, it included everything I needed, i.e. sriracha, sweet chili sauce, eel sauce, silverware, and napkins. That's a big deal. This is the sanitized version of Pho. I certainly can't say it was bad, but it was on the somewhat bland side. Kinda what you expect with Amish foreplay. Firstly this area has Vietnamese restaurant row off of Pace Blvd. there the real deal, the Pho's are about $2.00 cheaper and are full flavored. There Pho's broth is kinda watery, kinda bland. The Pho's content is a nice array of beef round eye, but you need to order extra meatball and onions to substantially improve the pho. Phoever will do great attracting people who work in the area, fast simple food, my concern is they won't attract the person who love Vietnamese food. I hope for the best! read more

To be transparent, in my opinion, a really good bowl of ramen is far better than a great bowl of pho. That being said I have not yet found a really good Raman ya in Pensacola so that makes Phoever the best noodles in town. read more

My mother and I had lunch today during their grand opening day. Boy was it chaotic! The servers were very new and could not handle the lunch rush hour. But they did their best with help from customers. Everyone, especially the customers, were very patient and understanding. This is probably the second time that I went to a Vietnamese restaurant's grand opening day. So I knew it would not be smooth or as fast as we may want it to be. The food especially our small pho dac biet (P1 Phoever special) was really filling and tasted very nice. The broth was seasoned well and had plenty of meat topping. I also ordered their goi cuon (fresh spring roll) which was average in my opinion. But the peanut sauce was great! I will definitely try this place again for their banh mi and flan! read more

This is the best Vietnamese beef noodle soup so far!!! Very authentic, and fresh. Normally, a lot of store will have the noodle pre-cooked, so when they serve, the noodle all stuck together, but here, seems everything is fresh made, the soup is very clear, the beaf is fresh, and noodle are all separated!!! It took me be surprise that they did not have Viet coffee, but they do have Thai Tea with boba. I got their steak pho, which was pretty tasty. The broth was a little salty, but had good flavour. A large was 9.95 for a good amount of food. Every order of pho gets its own mini plate of basil, bean sprouts, and a slice lemon or lime. Service was good.
