All very well designed in a mid century modern way. Which I was impressed by as I'm a big fan of mid century modern as an interior design style. It also had ample space for working as well. For the apartment she took me to the studio apartment to view and I was impressed by the view it had, and the amount of storage. The bathroom is also very well designed and housed a glass shower which is rare for an apartment. Overall I thought the complex was amazing, and all the staff interacted with were super nice, as well as people spotted around the community. While I ultimately did not end up leasing as I had figured out I had more stuff then would fit in the studio and do not make enough to upgrade to the one bedroom I was blown away by the staff, building, and community. Unfortunately, since being sold to a private equity firm in early 2025, the service has noticeably declined. The handover was disorganized and poorly executed. The new management team seems to consist mostly of temps who are either indifferent or clearly overwhelmed and under-resourced. Rent has increased by over $500 in the last five years, but what are we paying for? Service has gone downhill, maintenance is slower, and small but important resident services are being cut. One example: the previous management used to collect misdelivered Amazon packages left in the lobby and hold them safely in the office. Today, we received a message saying they will no longer do this. A small gesture, sure--but one that said, "we care." Now? It feels like we're being told not to expect much. It's hard not to conclude that the goal is to cut as many costs as possible and flip the property again. If you're comparing options, newer high-rises in the area may be a better value--this place is losing what made it special.

The units varies in size, but the unit that I seen in this building, was a bit small with 1 closet that wasn't very spacious. The amenities were very nice especially the roof top where you're able to sit, read a book or just hang out to chat with pals. I liked the underground parking as well as, you wouldn't be able to tell that it was located there so that was nice. Parking limit was up to 2 spaces at $50 per space. Nothing against this apartment building but, I wish these downtown apartments would include parking in the rent but, I'm assuming that the reason that they don't, is because there's not enough spaces for every unit and since we're in AZ most wouldn't care to park in a garage. Assuming of course! There is free parking a half a block away on a first come first serve basis , as well as, meter parking surrounding. If you have lots of company living in downtown, this would probably not be the place for you honestly. Miraniana offered to show me another property located across the street owned by the same Management which was very sweet of her, as she went over and beyond to show me units. The units across the street were much more spacious but, I did notice that the amenities and building weren't as kept up as this property, so, for me, iluminate would be a better choice if I have to pick between the 2. The location is perfect as there's so much going on in this area, now that the area has grown. I'm obsessed with the area honestly! After living in the far east valley for the better part of 8 years I grew used to the quiet and mostly crime free living environment of my surroundings. The thought of apartment life unsettled me. After looking for months at many different apartments, I stumbled my way to Lexington on Central. My first thought was that these must be condos as they have a condo feel to them. With further investigation I discovered they were apartments for rent. After looking at what Lexington on Central had to offer, to my relief, my search was over. This gated, Clean & quiet complex was just what I was looking for. Yes, super quiet, right in the middle of uptown Phoenix. The complex has a weight room, spa, pool and an entertainment facility that you can rent for parties. Lexington on Central is also just steps away from the Light Rail. If you are looking for bargain accommodations , these will not be for you as rents are spendy. Spendy or not, sometimes you do get what you pay for.

The emergency access gate is frequently left open, allowing public access to the gated community. Our apartment was also the subject of an attempted break-in, resulting in damaged personal property. Despite the property advertising security, security personnel are rarely visible. No one was aware that we lived at the property, which suggests the incident was a broader neighborhood-related issue. The lack of communication and ongoing safety concerns have made this a very disappointing living experience. They upper management at the Lex also did not look into our situation. Upper management waited 60+ days for us to move out to respond and acted like they never saw my multiple emails, even though everyone was CC'd in the emails. They have no customer service at all especially when it comes to upper management. Would not recommend living here at all!!

It's labeled as luxury, but the cleanliness, professionalism, and luxury end after the lobby. To summarize, staff is sexist, racist, and dismissive. The property is underwhelming and dirty. No new appliances. As far as the physical building, the front gate is broken every other week, leading the apartment to open the back gate which allows anyone in without a key (completely erasing the security of the building). I've attached pictures of pet waste and human trash left in the common areas of the apartment for reference. Please note, I took these pictures several days after first seeing the waste but management didn't care to send maintenance to clean. As far as the professionalism, the staff is not available to help with any true tenant matters such as the resident app not working or tenants harassing other tenants. I've experienced both issues numerous times, and it was left to me to find where the tenant lived and confront them on their behavior. There is no consistency on when rent is taken from your account DESPITE using auto-pay. Most times, rent is pulled from our account 12-14 days after the due date. There are plenty of true luxury apartments in Phoenix, please look for others and avoid the mess. Especially as a woman, I do not feel safe here because of the staff's negligence.

I was delivering groceries to a disabled resident living in an ADA-accessible apartment during the evening after the leasing office had already closed. The resident instructed me to park in the "Future Resident" parking area because nearby street parking was completely full and there appeared to be no reasonable guest parking available. I was away from my vehicle only long enough to walk from the keypad entrance, through the property, up the elevator, and deliver three bags of groceries to the resident on the second floor. By the time I returned, my car was already hooked up to a tow truck. When I ran over to explain the situation, I was told I had to immediately pay $100 or my car would be taken to the tow yard. I explained I was assisting a disabled resident and had only been gone for a few minutes, but there was no flexibility or warning given. The signage regarding towing was not clearly visible when entering the property at night, especially compared to the much brighter and more noticeable leasing office signage. The leasing office was closed at the time, and there did not appear to be adequate parking for the size of the community. It honestly felt like tow trucks actively monitor the area waiting for someone to park briefly. In addition, the hallways had a strong odor of animal urine during my visit. I encourage future residents and visitors to be extremely cautious about parking policies here and to fully understand where guests are allowed to park before stopping, even briefly.

The apartments are secure in separate enclosed buildings and the neighborhood is really nice. The best part for me, though is the management. Josh and Sheena go out of their way to help every resident. They have just the right type of dispositions for this business. I'm also paying $500 less than my previous place in Scottsdale. Let's start off with a good; -The rooftop pool has stunning views overlooking the mountains, as well as the city Thats pretty much about it in my opinion. Now let's go with the bad; -Homelessness is a real issue here, since it's neighboring a park, the homeless people tend to be seen digging through the trash in the parking garage, and don't be surprised if you catch them sleeping in the stairwells or clubhouse. YES I SAID CLUBHOUSE. Photo below ! -For the amount that you pay, the inconvenience of having to use keys Instead of fobs are real pain in the ****. Especially when half of the keyholes on the apartment complex are so hard to turn. I've had to have my key replaced multiple times because of the keyholes. -Of course, all the reviews you've read about car break-ins are real because I've had my car broken into multiple times. It doesn't matter if you park outside where I had an attempt catalytic converter theft or on a reserved parking spot on the fourth floor parking garage where I had my car glass shattered and personal items taken. I've brought it up to management but they have done nothing to fix the issues. You have been warned. -If you need maintenance done, you may need to report it multiple times like I did or else no one will notice and you're left with a leaking sink for 4 days. -During hard rain, my windows had a seal leaks that caused my carpet to literally be soaked. Issue not fixed. -Also the smell of the garbage areas on all the buildings are horrendous! Not cleaned often so you'll probably get a whiff of it on your tour. -the gym is definitely not a selling factor. Most of the equipment are malfunctioning and or broken. peak16, the highland, brix warehouse, pearl Biltmore has better options. Every team member that I had the pleasure of meeting while living there was responsive, attentive, and proactive in how they managed the apartment complex and worked with residents. Even after moving out due to relocation, the customer service continues to be amazing. I recently contacted them almost two years after moving out and spoke with Ferman about something I needed assistance with. Ferman quickly agreed to help me and within 20 minutes, had sent over the information and forms that I requested. My entire experience with Proxy was and continues to be positive. I would recommend this community to anyone who is considering living there.

I looked at so many when I was apartment hunting but knew this was the one. Super modern and cute. My favorite feature is probably the large windows. I have tons of natural light and can even see the sunset from my apartment! The entire building is new. Everything is literally so clean (even the trash room smells good LOL). It's a non smoking building so that's a plus! The leasing staff puts together a ton of "events" for the residents. Like catered food for first Friday, smoothies every Thursday, movie rental, etc. oh and you can even rent a bike (free). The mail room is also great. You can pick up a package at any hour of the day (3am if you want) because of the Parcel Pending service they have. Super convenient...you just type in your code and boom, your package is there. Perfect location. Walking distance to so many restaurants and coffee/tea shops. As well as first Friday is literally a block away if even. Pool area is super cute...rooftop is nice too. Security at the front desk is one of the reasons I chose Proxy as well. Makes me feel safe knowing someone is downstairs. Love this place. Been here for about 10 months now but just got to writing a review. Friendly staff as well. No problems over here except I wish the gym was bigger!
