    Top of my dishwasher. Told this was normal.

    I hate to be writing this review because this is my home and I had hoped to stay here for a long time, but I have given Pillar and Elevation 11.5 weeks to make things right after my move in. I am now on my fourth washing machine, which is obviously ludicrous (but not to Pillar), all of which had leaks or were broken or improperly installed, without so much as an apology or acknowledgement that they need to address this. They have gotten defensive instead and thrown their hands up and shrugged me off. I had to beg that a third party fix washer #4, which they begrudgingly agreed to. My dryer vent was never attached, and lint was all over the laundry room, which was also only caught by the third party at washer install #3 after 2.5 mos. On top of that, I had no hot water for 3 days after I moved in, and when my shower was "repaired", the hot and cold were reversed and the handle wasn't attached. I only got it correctly fixed 2 weeks ago. The hot water on my washer was never turned on until a few weeks ago when a third party caught it. My dishwasher does not seal properly and leaks. My microwave motor is busted. I had rusting dishwasher racks with exposed metal, and I was told that is normal by three different people. I had to beg to get just one of them replaced. A maintenance man totally bugged out in my apartment, perhaps intoxicated on something, during washer replacement #3 and left the washer in the hallway (that another resident moved after an hour), and in my apartment, but Katie in district management immediately, within the hour of the incident and without speaking to me, determined there wasn't an issue. I put in a police report, just in case, since I have NO idea what happened or if it has been addressed or if someone might come retaliate. And at no point during these 11.5 weeks has anyone sincerely and genuinely apologized and admitted they dropped balls. I have found the apathy, annoyance and defensiveness by management to be the worst part about all of this. No one has any idea how we got to this place or why my apt was so un-ready for move in, nor do they care. They have told me this is an isolated incident, they don't have any concerns, and nothing needs to change on their end. That leaves me feeling unsafe and unsettled, as it should for every current and future resident. How many other washers are leaking? Or dryer vents aren't attached? Or what appliance has an electrical issue that has never been inspected? And that apathetic and passive management and maintenance is what you will experience moving in here. This is all basic stuff that should have been caught before move in and it has been way too difficult to get resolved. Pillar has dismissed me as an annoying resident, but there is no excuse for 4 washing machines or unresolved work orders nearly 3 months into a lease. And I will keep following up and being "annoying" by asking for working appliances and for my repairs to be completed properly and professionally. Maintenance has been in my apt no less than 20 times in less than 3 mos. I had huge hopes for not being in a Greystone or other massive mgmt co, but at least they have certain basic living standards and procedures (such as working appliances and people who can fix things properly and in one go). I would not suggest moving in here unless you want to risk this experience. It has been totally unnecessary, stressful, and is all basic stuff that should have been resolved within the two-week Pillar Promise that guarantees satisfaction. I was impressed that they would stand so strongly and proudly behind their apartment. But they didn't consider that it might take more than three months and four washers and 20+ service visits to decide I am unsatisfied at this point.

    So let me start from the beginning here.....upon our arrival we pulled into the parking structure attached to this building which is a great touch because you can park on any level and walk right into the hallway of your floor. The building has 4 floors......made of Brick and Stucco on the outside but I was told by the General Manager that the apartments are framed structures though. Now what all of that means is that there may be a little bit of noise so she suggested renting on the Higher floors to guarantee yourself some quiet. Now here are the PROS and CONS for this Apartment Complex PROS: Awesome Lounge Area (outdoor Community lounges on every floor) Awesome Pool Area.....I mean absolutely BREATHTAKING Awesome Cabanas Spacious Gym Wonderful Parking Structure (Secured parking) Ample Lightning throughout the property Nice seating area near your mailboxes to sit and look through your mail Awesome BBQ and Dining area out near the pool The Apartments are very spacious.....even though we didn't get to see the Studio Apts. 9 to 12 foot ceilings......WOW!!!!! Spacious Hallways The LEASING OFFICE was OFF THE CHAIN people!!!!!! Pretty good balconies.....not great.....but very good. 2 blocks from the Lightrail and there is a Bus Stop right out in front of the property. Restaurants......Shopping......and Entertainment all within walking distance Brick and Morter building along with a touch of stucco.....best I could tell.....really makes the building pop. CONS: Balconies could be a little better The Guest Bathrooms leading off of the Kitchen I am not a big fan of.....LOL!!!!! I had no problem with the Bedroom Bathrooms though. No Peep Holes......and I don't understand why since everyone shares a hallway No Clear signs for Evacuation in case of a Fire We had some security concerns because the building is located off of a busy street No signs of any security or courtesy patrol for the building Now don't take the CONS to seriously.....the place is new so they may still be adding those additions to the building.....I didn't ask.....FULL DISCLOSURE. I love the place overall and if you decide to take a tour of the place talk to Kristin, (General Manager), Lindsey or any of the leasing staff there.....they are wonderful people. The apartments range in size from 598 sq ft. up to 1055 sq ft. and they range in price monthly from $955 up to $1895. So let me offer this little tidbit in conclusion....if you ANTI SOCIAL.....a retiree......or a senior citizen......NO OFFENSE WHATSOEVER.....LOL!!!!! this place MAY NOT be for you. I say that because between the pool area.....the community lounge area......the outdoor cabanas and BBQ area......along with the awesome outdoor community lounges I mentioned earlier on each floor this complex screams SOCIAL interaction. So if your looking to move into the Central Phoenix area.....have access to the light rail and Buses right outside your door......restaurants......shopping......and great views of the city look no further than Elevation on Central. Eat, Drink, and be Merry my Friends!!!!!!

    Received an invite from my cousin who was invited to one of the beautiful events for Elite members of Yelp! I parked in the attached parking garage and it was a really convenient walk to the front of the building. Plenty of parking in the garage and everywhere around the building. You can enter the building from he garage as well. The building is absolutely gorgeous! Very quaint and modern! The pool area is in the middle of the property with plenty of seating areas and cabanas! We were able to take a look at a couple of the units and I must say it's absolutely breath taking! The 2 Bed/2 bath unit has a walk in closet in both rooms and big beautiful bathrooms! A gorgeous island in middle of the kitchen which overlooks the living room! If you're looking for a place to live near downtown or midtown.... This is definitely worth taking a peek at! I included a couple pictures of thx event! Oh and definite very friendly staffs!

The manager Glenn runs the property very well, he hosts events frequently to get the community together with themed events, and everyone is very friendly there. Maintenance was extremely infrequent for me, but when I needed any, I received it same day and sometimes same hour. Maybe the best part of the standard is its location. One block from the start of old town Scottsdale makes it an easy walk to the many shops, art exhibits, and great food options. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to live in old town to take a look at the standard!!

Dog pee all over the stairs and landings of stairwells. Newer tenants loud during quiet hours, dogs constantly barking. They'll tell you the train isn't that bad. lol ya ok. ITS A TRAIN!! Not only can you hear it, YOU CAN FEEL IT! Shakes the entire apt. It's bad. Quiet time til 8 am but they have landscapers mowing every Friday at 630am, sometimes earlier sometimes later. If you face the courtyard, every conversation echos, along with kids screaming and dogs barking but it's amplified. Happens at all hours, so you better be a deep sleeper. Parking is an absolute joke. They send Richard the special maint guy to ask for good reviews after he does his job fixing something. That shows you how desperate they are to fix their google rating. Pawning your helper to solicit good reviews? After doing his job, and poorly at that. Pathetic. You will have your package stolen at some point. Probably other tenants. Way overpriced for the crap you have to deal with. It was tolerable before Kyndell, but now it's time to move on. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere. I promise you that. We had our apt tested for mold and it came back positive. They send Richard in with a moisture monitor he doesn't know how to use. Guy says he's never seen mold either! What is he don't making these decisions for such a large company. Everything about this place is now a joke.

Specifically, Chanda went above and beyond for me helping me even bring packages into my apartment because they showed up a little early. The amenity spaces have been nice and the neighbors have been pleasant. No noise issues at night even on weekends which is nice. Would certainly recommend!

First of all, she's the absolute sweetest. Throughout the process, she never made me feel judged or like I was a lost cause. Her whole demeanor was so uplifting, she seemed excited to help me and that made me feel excited, too. She pulled up several options in my budget & that would work with my credit, options I didn't even know existed! We settled on a beautiful, renovated studio in the downtown area, I applied and got approved within an hour. When I tell you I got in my vehicle and cried the happiest of tears. I never thought I'd see the day! I'll be recommending everyone, literally everyone, I know to Prestige Realty and especially to Nora. I never made a maintenance request to fix it cuz it never really bothered me. Had no idea they would charge me if I didn't get it fixed. I asked them for a refund as I found this highly unethical as they wouldn't have charged me if I had made a request. They told me no! Read the lease agreement carefully as they will scam you further more with bs fees like carpet and cleaning. Even if you cleaned and the carpet is fine. Additionally and probably most importantly, the parking here is a disaster. I'm telling you, you will get towed if you sign a lease here. They hire a tow truck twice a week to just come through and pick residents out of THEIR OWN spots. Emily, please reach out to me if you would like to make things right. Apt 4017. UNETHICAL!! Since the new management took over, this place has gone downhill fast. They increased amenities and trash fees while amenities were closed and trash pickup was inconsistent. They also misrepresented our lease terms and told us a deposit premium would drop off after we renewed our lease. Later they said we would be paying it indefinitely. On top of that, they started charging me $20 a month for renters insurance even though I already had coverage, with no communication about needing to resend documentation. Utility charges for shared amenities have also somehow doubled since new management took over. Parking is poorly managed, gates constantly malfunction, and residents have even been towed from spots they pay for monthly with no accountability. The maintenance team is great, but the front office staff is disorganized and rarely resolves problems. The most concerning issue happened when my husband broke his foot in March of 2025. The elevator in Building B repeatedly broke, forcing him to use crutches down three flights of stairs to get to doctor appointments. For a luxury apartment charging over $2,000 a month, having a working elevator should not be optional. Management also made excuses for themselves and were told they were only then made aware that elevators need routine maintenance and not just maintenance when it broke. We were also displaced for over a week after an upstairs neighbor flooded their apartment and had to fight management just to be reimbursed for the hotel. When we returned, our unit was dirty and damaged, even though we left it spotless. (pictures included) Between the constant fees, poor communication, cleanliness issues, and declining management, this place is not the luxury community it advertises itself to be. It feels more like a money grab. Don't just take my word for it. Look at the reviews from the last few years and you will see the same pattern. I hope management actually addresses these issues instead of continuing to ignore residents' concerns

I waited for two months to be able to move in here and it was absolutely worth the wait. The lush fruit trees provide shade, the tenants are happy with their affordable rent, and the staff is always on site in case there is an issue with appliances or AC. The complex itself is clean, painted regularly, and the yards out front are immaculate. The inside of the units are a perfect combo of drywall and brick, allowing each resident to have some privacy while keeping the temperature cool in the summer and warm in the winter. My utilities have never been so low in an apartment complex, period. I am a single father, and the neighbors are absolutely wonderful with my daughter. It is important to mention that these units are quaint, are perfect for single working professionals beginning their career, graduate students, single parent of a young child, or dual income/no kids couples. The management does allow pets with a deposit. You will never rent from someone that cares as much as the condition of the place you live as the staff and management of Urban Gardens. They truly go above and beyond to care for the people and your experience. I have lived in complexes near colleges or in arts districts before that cater to a party and BBQ culture, which comes with noise, broken beer bottles, and violence. This complex is quiet and friendly. I have had more restful nights at Urban Gardens than I have had in Tempe condominiums that go for 3 times the rent.

I had a blower motor go out on a Saturday night. The maintenance guy Larry showed up the next morning (Sunday) to fix the issue. I can honestly say it was very unexpected to be treated as such a high priority. I'm truly grateful to have such an awesome maintenance team here at UG. I have a pet and this place is the first place where I feel like he (the dog) is really accepted. The staff sees my dog around and treats him like he's a little neighborhood kid. Super pet friendly. The manager lives two units over and is one of the sweetest people I ever met. She's always keeping up with the grounds and does a great job. The owner Robert really makes me feel like being happy in my home is a priority. He has very much helped make this place feel like home. My neighbors are quiet and friendly as well. Everyone is very considerate of one another. (Thanks guys!) The facility is an older place but still keeping up with the times. I waited two months or so to move in as it was being remodeled and it was a great decision. Rent here is affordable, facility is clean and energy efficient. There isn't a lot of turn over so getting in is kinda tough but well worth it if you can make it happen. The location really can't be beat with all the shops/bars/restaurants around. 10/10 would recommend.

While other luxury apartments kept delaying my application and making the process longer and more stressful, the team here showed genuine care and understanding. Soltra Kierland was actually the apartment I liked the most from the beginning. However, because of my son's school district, I initially had to prioritize another complex. Unfortunately, that situation became very difficult and left me in a stressful position. In the end, after finally being able to enroll my son in school with special permission, I was welcomed warmly at Soltra. Tracie, in particular, was truly exceptional. When I explained my situation, she didn't just treat it as part of her job. She listened with empathy and understanding to a single mother who simply needed a home for herself and her child. Her kindness, professionalism, and human approach made a huge difference for us. Before and after moving in, she continued to help in every possible way, and we are very grateful. The community itself is wonderful -- residents are respectful, the environment is clean and well maintained, and my son absolutely loves the pool. Everything is always taken care of. I would warmly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place with trustworthy and caring management.     This was one of the most disappointing apartment tour experiences I've ever had…read more I scheduled an appointment to view the property on behalf of a friend who is relocating to Arizona and even confirmed the appointment before making the drive. Upon arrival, I spent nearly 20 minutes circling the property looking for parking. The designated office visitor spaces were occupied, including one handicap spot. While searching for parking, I called the office to let them know I was on-site but having difficulty finding a place to park. After finally finding metered parking and paying for it, I went into the office only to be told by Anaiyah that I was late and that she would not be able to show me the property. She then informed me that she had sent an email shortly before the appointment stating that I needed to be on time because she was short-staffed and would be combining tours. The problem is that I was driving and had already confirmed my appointment. It is unreasonable to expect someone who is actively traveling to an appointment to monitor last-minute emails. I also called the office to communicate my situation and received no flexibility or understanding. As a result, I wasted an entire day, fuel expenses, parking fees, and valuable time. I emailed management immediately afterward requesting a call, but never received a response. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a lack of professionalism and customer service. I had read some of the negative reviews before visiting and initially gave the property the benefit of the doubt. After my experience, I understand why those reviews exist.
