Pressquatch (formerly Phoenix Media) excelled at a print job I submitted recently for 2,500 postcards. Here's the timeline (not what I expected!). Tuesday: sent files. Wednesday: they called to clarify my order and helped correct an inappropriate card stock choice on my end. Thursday: shipped. Friday: delivered. Wow! I'm a former Phoenix Media customer and now a happy Pressquatch customer. A+ for ease of ordering, customer service, job quality, timeliness, and good value. Highly recommended. read more

The company is always just as good as its representative or employees. But of course, a company that produces something it's also about reliability and quality. So let's address the latter first Phoenix media has more than be reliable when it comes to our printing jobs they are on time they keep up to their promises and they even make sometimes magic happen when you are in a hurry. This is the reason why I love to work with a local company instead of one of those bigger companies that just do not even have the chance to care about every single customer I have the feeling Phoenix media does. The pricing is most reasonable and fair but I'm OK with even paying a buck more when I have the special services. that's it that's was sad in the beginning it is always also about the employees that represent the company and stands up for the values or simply put care for customers The representative I work with has always responded fast and made even small corrections or recommendations on our print material to make sure everything comes out as it should basically I love working with Phoenix Miriam to have our small printing drop done fair priced fast and correct! read more

I needed more of my business cards in a hurry, but also needed two edits (email address and phone number changes). Keri took all my calls (4 or 5) as I slowly figured out exactly how, when, and what I wanted. She found a person to make the edits quickly and send the proofs for my review. The cards were exactly as promised and available when promised. It is rare that people answer phones, but I always seek out these local businesses who will talk to me. I'm not sure the price was the lowest possible, but I support small businesses in Portland who provide the service I need. My order was small, but important to me. And Keri took care of it like a good, old-fashioned business. read more

Phoenix Media is our go to for a variety of printing needs. We appreciate the quality of the products, the attention to detail, timely production, and friendly customer service. Keri does a great job of working with our team if there are questions about our order. Online ordering is easy and previous products are easy to reorder. We confidently recommend Phoenix to our business partners. Thanks Keri!! read more

The quality of products and services here is incredible! Kari is always there to help us whenever we have questions or a complicated order. They always provide great printing and check for high quality standards. They make it easy to reorder and have a super quick turn around time, not to mention how friendly they are. Our company has used Phoenix Media for years and we've always been satisfied with their services. Definitely recommend to all local businesses that have printing needs. 10/10 read more

I had an order of business card that were expected by a certain day, for an important business meeting the next day. They didn't show up on the shipment to the store. Patrick made the extra effort to tract down someone at the printing facility out in Hillsboro and arrange for a messenger service to deliver them to me that evening. It all worked out good, due to Patrick going the extra distance. I wish every company worked like that. Thank you. Mark read more

I was recently in the market for a large print order for my business. Phoenix media has come highly recommended by local friends who I've asked about printing services. I contacted them asking for a quote and gave all my specifications in full detail and told someone would return my call promptly. I missed a phone call from a representative letting me know they had a quote ready for me. I called back 3 times in the following days and was unable to reach anyone in time to send them my print order and give them my business. The customer service i received on the phone was great but there is apparently an issue managing clients. I would love if management would like to reach out to me to resolve this issue, as i have more print jobs in the future and would love if my mind could be changed about this local company I've heard so many great things about. read more

Ron and I have been doing business for over 15 years now. I Love how I feel at home every time I come in. Patrick designed my labels and I do all of my printing through Phoenix Media because I know they will always take care of me. The fast turn around for Banners when I need them the same week is priceless. Phoenix Media even printed my pulldown/Booth for trade shows as well. Phoenix media does it all! read more

I placed an order on March 3rd for envelopes. I approved a proof through their website. After a month, I had not received my order so I checked on the status, it was still asking for an approval. I approved the proof again and then emailed and called them on 4/12 to make sure the order would be filled, I did not hear back. I emailed again on 4/20, asking about the order again, this time I received a reply saying the order was "on track to be finished early next week". I did receive a call from Patrick after this, he said there was some sort of issue and that he was waiting on a finish date for the order but assured me it would be finished early the next week. On 5/4, two weeks later... I called asking about the order , they did not have it finished. I spoke with a woman (who was very nice) she said all of their orders had a three day turn around and had no idea why it would take that long, she said they would get to the bottom of it. I received a call back from Patrick and he said the order would be completed by Friday. I'm guessing it still had not been started. The order was cancelled. There are plenty of other print businesses that have quick turn around good product. read more

I hired Phoenix Media remotely to print and hang 500 flyers around Portland to promote a free computer science class at the Portland Community College. The team at Phoenix did an EXCELLENT job -- ran around to public libraries, specific zip codes, lots of neighborhoods. They went the extra mile to make sure this class was promoted. (I even audited their work to make sure stuff was up!) Ron was AWESOME. I am so thankful we used them for this job. Could not recommend them higher. read more

I needed some printing done for my Yelp Eats! promotion... menus, to be exact, and I needed them done quickly. I of course had 2 options - go to FedEx and pay The Man to print them for me, or stroll on over to the 'local option' and possibly pay a tad more to have them done there. Pretty much a no-brainer. Phoenix did a great job on what was pretty much a simple and quick project. B/W print, one-sided, 70# white stock, 2750 pages, $198. I called my man Eric and had a quote back in my hands pretty quickly. Sent over some PDF's and had the print job back within a day. They obviously printed this one in-house, but from what I understand, they likely outsource bigger, full-color jobs out to some of the larger print-houses (which is what most print brokers do). Beyond the B/W stuff, I had them do a run of color 8x10's on the same stock that ended up costing about $.35/page, which was fine since I was in a rush. Those were done in-house as well. Quality work, as promised, good service, in-house design... I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! read more

Ron and the folks at Phoenix Media are amazing to work with. Fast and friendly service and they gave me a great price on our large order of business cards for our new business. I've actually worked with them on several occasions at different companies, and will continue to business with them in the future as printing needs come up. Our business cards, promotional flyers, contracts/paperwork and all of our printing needs were all taken care of by Phoenix. It was nice having one shop that can do it all. read more

I have used Phoenix media for the following: 1. Timbers Army Fanzine the Whipsaw Zine - Turn around time and quality of the printing was outstanding. 2. Membership cards - Turn around time and the quality of the material was received with high praise from our membership base. 3. Banners - Again the quality of the printing and turn around time beat anyone else. 4. Business Cards- I needed a 48 hour turn time and they expedited my order at no extra charge. 5. Flyers - 10k in flyers to promote the upcoming MLS season tickets for the Timbers Army. I recommend Phoenix Media for any of your printing needs from small run of business cards to promotional flyers and posters. read more

Went to Phoenix Media to get my business cards printed. The design I had created wasn't a good resolution, so one of the graphic designers had to redo it for me. He told me that he'd have a proof ready in 2 days. Now, I knew he was really busy (he had already told me, "we've been swamped recently"), so if he had told me that the design would take a week, I wouldn't have had a problem. But after 3 days I hadn't heard anything. Long story short, it took a bit over a week for the design. But the business cards printed out exactly on schedule (5-7 days), and I'm really satisfied with the results. I just wish that I had been given a more realistic timeline for the design (and, failing that, that there had been better communication once the 2-day deadline had passed). In the end, though, I would definitely recommend Phoenix. read more

As small business owners, every dollar counts. We couldn't be happier with Phoenix's prices and service. After getting great assistance from their team regarding design, we placed an urgent order for several single-run large posters. The quality was fantastic and the prices were great! When the order was ready and knowing it was urgent, Phoenix contacted us to let us know that they had a courier delivering a different order nearby and would be happy to drop ours off for free to save us the drive across town. That is exceptional customer service! We will definitely continue using Phoenix for our marketing and printing needs! read more

These guys are fantastic. I was looking for someone local to print a small quantity (~100 copies) of a poster and, later, a trifold brochure. In both cases Patrick (the guy who helped me) was cordial, laid back, and super-helpful. He was also extremely patient, which was good since I'm an amateur designer and had never created stuff like this before, so there were a few problems with the files I uploaded. He helped me work through them with a minimum of fuss. I was very happy with the results--turnaround time was fast, and the quality of the work was excellent. I will definitely use Phoenix Media again. read more

Phoenix Media has been printing projects for me for work since 2008, and they have always done a good job. I admit that I am fussy. Once, when the color wasn't what I'd ok'd on the proof, they reprinted the order - no questions asked. Their website interface is easy & reliable. Plus they're affordable, conveniently located (for me), friendly and they don't blow sunshine. I appreciate a company that tells me when they can or cannot achieve something on a tight deadline. Just started taking some personal work there too, and the first batch of flyers looked great! I have some more print projects coming up and I'm sure I'll be seeing them soon. read more

What an amazing experience. If I could this place would get 10 stars. Heather was patient and helpful and most of all knowledgeable about what she was doing. The poster my husband needed printing had charts and images that would not have looked good at the size he initially wanted. Heather explained everything, suggested a better size, explained what we could do differently the next time, and had a huge smile (non-mocking, at least I hope :) the whole time. Add to that, we had asked for some color copies on standard paper. All the prints and the poster came out great! These guys are available on the web. We live on the east coast but may be sending our future printing out here (I know we're supposed to stay local, but these guys are that good!!) Also she liked my glasses. read more

Over a month after I first contacted Phoenix Media, I got my business cards. They look really nice. After sending the files and getting some design kinks worked out, I had an order officially placed on Friday the 4th right before EOB. I followed up on Monday the 7th and asked about a completion date. I mentioned that there was a function the upcoming weekend and I'd love to have some cards if possible. Heather informed me that turnaround is usually 5-7 business days but she would check production and get back to me. The next time I heard back from Phoenix was Monday the 14th letting me know that my cards were done. The cards are very nice. Don't get me wrong. Fantastic quality. They were also not very cheap. I have no problem paying for quality but these are definitely the most expensive cards I've ever bought and I've bought business cards at least a dozen times. I have a postcard order that I need to run and I'm going to try with another company to see how it goes. I may be back to Phoenix, I may not. I'm finding much better prices elsewhere, we'll just have to see how the quality and customer service are. I just didn't get a warm fuzzy from working with Phoenix. Even if my cards weren't going to be done for the weekend, a call back that was promised would have been nice. At one point I was asked in an email to update my review with something positive and I hadn't even received my cards yet. read more

I stopped by because I needed two posters printed and the man there (Patrick) was very nice and helpful! He told me while they didn't usually do orders like that because the minimum prints were 100, he did it anyways since it was a slow day. I think he took pity on me also because I was really confused on what I wanted and where else to go. I gave him my USB with the photos and he patiently took the time to work his magic. Ten minutes later I walked out with two wonderful prints! He initially charged me only $8 but I only had $3 in cash so that's what I paid. He told me not to worry about it but I wanted to pay him something for being so wonderful!! I highly recommend this place for printing. I will definitely come back here for any future large scale printing projects. I'll probably call or email first though. Thanks again!! read more
