I did not have a clue about what I was doing. They were very patient with me and my family. We had a lot of questions and changes. They worked it all out with patience. They made sure my mom was pass my expectations.

Our family has been hard hit by death in 2026. My wife' mother, who lived for us for the last 13…read moreyears and needed care-giving for the last 5 years, culminating in in-home hospice for 4 months ending in January. While her death was anticipated, we were poorly prepared for about 5 days to do everything -- data collection, arrangements, picture deck, obituary/social media, notifications, clothing updates, travel, and immediate expenses. 4 family members spent most of that time to accomplish all these tasks. This was followed by our youngest son's totally unexpected death just 29 days later. Already depleted and now sucker-punched, we knew we could not repeat the process in the same time period. Additionally, her mother already had a burial plot and headstone -- this was our immediate family's 1st need for a family "plot". Cremation filled our need to keep our son close to us and to give us time for a proper Memorial -- 13 days after his passing (not 4 days). Cremation Care of Georgia was wonderful. The staff, especially Ms April Roots, were very kind, respectful, and dignified in everything. We were allowed a final viewing for a group of his closest family & friends, upon our request they retrieved a lock of hair, and they gave us time & space for grieving. They retrieved a US flag for us in honor of his service in the Georgia National Guard & his Afghanistan deployment. They plugged us in with a vendor to do a wonderful memorial brochure. Their facility is simply but elegantly appointed. While this did not drive our decision, the cost was half that of a traditional funeral home cremation. We could not be more satisfied with the service we received from Cremation Care of Georgia.

He came out to talk to my family when we were picking out the service for my father. He was just plain weird. He asked a lot of questions and dragged this out. He got defensive when my sister said something he didn't like. We ordered an urn that was similar to my late brother's and were told it was being sent from another location in the area. He said he would call us the next day so we could see it to make sure we liked it. The call didn't come until days later on the morning of the service, that the urn was not there. We would have had time to go to other funeral homes and purchase one if we had been told earlier. There was plenty of time. We could have ordered one on the internet and gotten it there in time. Greg Meadows offered $100 off like it was a late pizza delivery. They wanted to put an empty urn up there for people to pretend to say goodbye too. I was so mad I had to let my brother-in-law talk to them. A young man named Heath actually understood the situation and made it better. He GAVE us an urn that turned out to be quite nice. In the end everything was okay. Only because of the young man named Heath, who was apologetic and sympathetic. Also Greg Meadow's brother was there on the day of my dad's service and he just stared at us creepily. You've been warned.

I took longer than I should but she stuck with me until I got it right. Very professional and very kind. They are on time and you can bank on their promises. They delivered. My brother Cremation went well and the price was the best, half of what other centers cost. I would give 10 stars if I could. If I could leave no stars I would! My grandmother passed away in July of this year. We were told…read moreuntil they found out otherwise, the POA would make the decisions concerning my grandmother. That person is not even related to my family. They also said a "guardianship was granted over my grandmother" My grandmother had Alzheimer's. She didn't even know who I was at the end. The family was never officially notified of the guardianship and when I contacted the courts, they could not find anything as well. On my grandmother's death certificate, it says "Fiduciary-POA". No special anything to justify their actions. Just POA which ends with death. My Aunt the daughter to my grandmother had no say in what happened to her mother when they cremated her. We also had to pay for a death certificate but the lady with the "POA" was given them. I mentioned to Carrie at the funeral home that this other lady was not related to us and this was legal paperwork they were handing out and they still did and gave me the run around. I have documentation and witnesses to this all as well. I would NEVER recommend this place. They are VERY unprofessional! If you care about a loved one stay away from this place and beware!

She was completely devoid of tact, frequently making rude comments and for some reason always responding with attitude and a lack of care. Interacting with someone so thoughtless and uncaring was truly a miserable experience that will never be forgotten by our family. Kisha was also responsible for playing a slideshow created by our family for my mother's memorial. Unfortunately we observed first hand that Kisha has the computer savy of someone unfamiliar with technology. Because of this , during the memorial, myself and my brother had to leave our seats and assist her as she struggled to play our video. Starting and displaying it before it was supposed to be shown and also ending the video and moving it off the screen before it was finished. Unbelievable. I take particular offense to this ineptitude because I made the slideshow and people in attendance were not able to view the beginning as she fumbled through simply trying to play it. It's shocking that someone with such an incredible lack of technical ability would be in in charge of it. Everyone else at South care was pleasant and helpful however should you incur the misfortune of having to work with Kisha then I pray for your patience and strength.

So far I have yet to feel any of this amazing customer services I keep hearing so much about. I am in my 30s and knew zero about this process. I never buried a parent before. My very first experience meeting with this business, 2 people kept walking in and out the room and talking because apparently the fax machine was in that room. Ok. Understandable. After we got to the bottom of my issues, I left with my little burgundy folder. And a handful of questions. As of right now it's has been a month and I have called at least 3 times with questions. They say "I'm with a family I'll call you shortly " they never do. I have found myself asking relatives about the process or googling my concerns. At this point I feel like I am bothering them, or not as important for a call back. Hopefully no one asked me about this experience. I would be forced to remain silent . We all know, if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say anything at all.
