I replaced that camshaft sensor, and then a new code came up for the crankshaft position sensor, which I also replaced. After all that work, I was still having problems like a rough idle and hesitant starts. While out shopping, I decided to stop at O'Reilly Auto Parts on Maynardville Pike in Knoxville, and honestly, that ended up being kismet. Jade immediately stepped in to help me. She brought out the OBDII scanner to check what was going on after all the work I had done. Unfortunately, it would not connect or pull any codes. Then things got worse. The SUV would not start at all, and I was completely stuck in the parking lot with no way home. After talking through everything, Jade suggested trying another camshaft position sensor (the one I bought was a cheap aftermarket on) to see if that would fix the issue. She helped me get the tools I needed and made sure the install went smoothly. It only took about 20 minutes, and I did the whole job right there in front of the store with her support and friendly chatter the whole way through. I cannot express how grateful I am for that. Jade genuinely cared, and in this day and age, when humanity feels bleak and lost sometimes, that means a lot. Jade did not just do her job. She showed real empathy and compassion, which is something the world needs more of. While helping me, she even shared some of what she is personally dealing with, and it created a real connection that you just do not get anymore. You all seriously need to give her a raise, a promotion and giant thank you, from me, I mean that. It is rare to find someone who not only cares about the company they work for, but truly cares about the people they help. This is a direct thank you to you, Jade. You are an amazing person and you made the experience at your store, excellent!

He said he would sell me a battery for my car but would not install it as it was too hard and complicated. We went to Auto Zone and had a very pleasant visit and they handled my battery issue with ease. I will never step foot into O'Rileys again. From other reviews, this is apparently a common issue at this store

Each time, Sebastian informed us that the part was there. The ongoing verification was due to a time investment we were willing to make as we would be driving 3.5 hours from Atlanta. Upon arrival, we spoke with Jacob (in Spanish). Having never met Sebastian we asked if he (Jacob) was Sebastian. With the apathy of a bored middle schooler, Jacob eloquently responded, "no" . We were invited to look around the junk yard to locate our part and we did. It was not there. We reported back our findings and were met with a dead stare. We countered with uncomfortable silence and returned his stares at which time Jacob said "maybe it was in the yard down the road" to which we responded "nope, they sent us to you." We continued to ask for Sebastian and Jacob failed (as did our little buddy, Sebastian) to share that Sebastian had been sitting next to him through each exchange. Our entire time there added up to 1 hour. Ultimately we left without the part we were repeatedly told was there. The "business" and employees have the customer service skills of a doorknob. They do not care and they make it very VERY clear. Don't waste time or money on this place.
