The old tint was fine, but I had just had the windshield replaced which resulted in the tint being gone. Unfortunately, they weren't able to fit me in because of my tight schedule (totally not their fault) and their heavy workload, but it prompted me to go onto Yelp and leave a review anyway. I'm by no means a recent customer. I found my card they gave me for my warranty, and the install date was in April of 2012. My tint still looks like they just installed it yesterday, and I've done nothing to maintain it except maybe use the glass cleaner that says it's for auto glass. That's it. There's been no bubbling or peeling of any kind since it was installed. You can definitely trust their work here.

I contacted my insurance company (I have a $100 deductible) for a windshield installer recommendation. The company they recommended was asking $738 for the windshield replacement. When I questioned the price, they said it includes recalibration of the forward facing camera behind the windshield because my car had ADAS features. I searched for other windshield installers and came up on Jerry's Auto Glass Inc., what a fortunate find! Jim at Jerry's Auto Glass Inc. explained to me the forward facing camera did not need to be recalibrated unless the installer was to move it, which a good installer won't do. After learning this, in my view, companies that require camera recalibration before installing a replacement windshield is lining their pockets with an unnecessary service . When I contacted my insurance company to inform them, I was using Jerry's Auto Glass Inc. they still tried to get me to hire their recommendation, even though it would cost them over $400 more for my windshield replacement, stating their recommended company would guarantee the workmanship against leaking for five years I didn't relay this information to Jim at Jerry's auto glass and he stated their workmanship was guaranteed as long as I own the car. Jim took a phone call while I was waiting on my windshield installation to be completed, the caller had a concern of a leak around the sunroof of a Toyota vehicle. Jim gave him advice on cleaning the sunroof drains which might alleviate the problem before spending money by bringing the vehicle in. Now that's awesome for a business owner to do. I saved my insurance company over $400 and I couldn't be happier. Give Jerry's Auto Glass Inc. a try and you'll be pleased too! I was in and out in an hour and 10 minutes.

I had 4 front windows tinted by Turkey Creek Tinting about a year ago. So this review is narrowed…read morein scope to the product quality and installation after 1 year of use. The tint installed was Llumar's Formula One at 35%. It has a warmer tone once installed, sort of like Maui Jim's HCL® Bronze sunglass lens. For interior tones like Aston Martin's Sandstorm and Bitter Chocolate this is a perfect compliment from the color wheel, and white exterior's like Status White contrast beautifully with the Formula One tint. The 35% is the right choice both aesthetically and functionally with the Formula One tint. This allows enough visibility in both daylight and nighttime driving, leaving perfect daytime cabin conditions to use polarized sunglasses to view the road ahead through a clear windshield, or without sunglasses during night. At 35% the Formula One is suave and classy while offering sufficient privacy and superior UV protection. If you are a performance driver, going any darker offers no value. During installation a year ago, the existing tint removal process was performed professionally by Turkey Creek Tinting, and the glass was prepared appropriately for the Formula One replacement. The new tint was installed without damaging any surrounding areas of the car, although water drops were directly hitting the leather interior. Water wasn't left on the interior for long, however, and micro-cloth towels were being used to quickly mop away the moisture. Still, I'd prefer to see a process that eliminates anything wet or abrasive contacting the interior leather. The edges of the Formula One tint have held up well over a year's use. My front windows are a particular challenge to tint as a result of the Aston Martin glass matrix that extends along the entire window edge, but the Formula One cured well to hold the precise edge while giving a uniform look over the glass matrix. The installation area of Turkey Creek Tinting was clean, but it is not a properly pressurized clean room. This increases the risk of small airborne particles entering the space between the glass and tint while being applied. There are a couple of these imperfections that are visible when viewed under light on my installation. But I plan to schedule a return visit to Turkey Creek Tinting soon to have the back of the car detailed with the Formula One. Even if it isn't right the first time, Turkey Creek Tinting will follow-through until you're happy, at least in my experience.

Professional, Timely, an AMAZING EQ setting and Maybe Above All Else: Incredibly Friendly!…read more After a miserable DYI experience before, and decidedly wasn't going through that hell again, I found myself in such a situation again after purchasing a newer vehicle that had some bells, but no whistles I was accustomed to (specifically CarPlay). With the current microchip shortage, mid level units from premium brands were no where to be found. The choices were literally $1200+ units or $500 and below (very few of which actually had a screen or CarPlay capabilities). But I found a Boss unit that checked all the boxes, and decided at the price-point to give it ago. I knew that I wouldn't be going the DYI route again. So, I set off to find installation from a provider who didn't require a mandatory equipment purchase, but was also in the nearby area. I came across JAAC via a Google search, and checked out their website. I used the "request a quote" forum found there on Friday, and after the weekend still had not heard anything back. So, I called that Monday afternoon. In less than 10 minutes I had an appointment for the coming Wednesday, and the actual total I could expect, not an estimate! It was recommended that I go with a different backup camera than the one that came with my unit. I trusted their recommendation without explanation; they're the experts. Josh later told me that it's because the camera that I had uses a plastic housing, his came with a metal housing. Common sense tells you that metal fares much better against the elements than plastic. I had expected to spend a minimum of $500, and the price I was given seemed more-than-reasonable. Later, Josh told me that he's admittedly a little bit more than a big box store, and honestly I wouldn't have ever known. Plus, at the end of the day, I was given an opportunity to support a small, and local, business. I arrived at my appointed time, and was a little surprised that the business is ran out of their home. But, was immediately greeted by Ashely (Josh's wife) and they were both incredibly friendly. There's a little indoor waiting area (which with the temperature in excess of 90º was very relieving), and honestly it made it feel less like I was intruding. After introductions, and a rundown of the unexpected amenities, they got right to work. Ok, it's not a big waiting room (plus, it is in their home), so don't pack the car and head over, but they offer WiFi, a FireStick, and a list of streaming services. Honestly, it rivals those offered by three-and-four-star hotels. I had packed my Nintendo and a hotspot, so I was set, but it was nice to know there would have been options if I hadn't. My appointment was at 1:00, and I got there at 1:10 (the ATM was being very slow), and they were working by 1:25. Based solely on my previous experience, and the addition of a backup camera installation I anticipated 4+ hours. They were done by 4:00, maybe even earlier. We chit-chatted for about 25 minutes, and then Josh actually sat in the vehicle with me for about 20 more and walked me through some of the features of my equipment, which was incredibly nice. He also explained to me that he soldered all of the connections, which makes them more stable. He could have just left it to me to read the manual (I certainly had time while I waited!), but he made the effort to explain some things to me and answer my questions. My overall install looks incredibly sharp! And the price was more than fair! I would gladly pay more for the service I received! Plus, Josh tuned the EQ with his personal setting and IT IS BOSS! Honestly, if I have any issue from anything I imagine it will be from the unit itself and not from the installation.
