I could not be more impressed -- so responsive with communications and left me feeling so confident. This was an important occasion and she absolutely did not disappoint and in fact exceeded my expectations. I indicated what I wanted and wow did she ever come through. And the cake was honestly the most delicious cake I've ever tasted (almond with almond buttercream frosting -- WOW). I might not ordinarily leave an extensive review for a cake but this is a baker you might consider for a wedding cake or something equally important and expensive and I want you to know it would be WORTH IT. I would not hesitate to recommend this cakery for any cake need and we will definitely order more cakes in the future.

Chico Bakery is the home of the Julia's Pepperoni Rolls. This bakery, which has been around since…read morethe '20s, offers a West Virginian specialty, using the original recipe of Julia Chico. They're that good that they're the official roll designated for the West Virginia University Mountaineers! Just note that when you enter on the side, this is an actual bakery (with belts and sacks of flour, and bakers actually making the rolls!). However, don't be alarmed, as you can literally just walk in and purchase the pepperoni rolls on an individual-basis or purchase them by bulk. There are 3 different 'fillings' that are offered - Pepperoni, Pepper & Cheese, and Pepperoni & Hot Cheese. Of course, I bought one of each. The bakery usually offers them hot and fresh, but due to the holidays, they only had the freshly-frozen ones available. You just open the package on one side, zap it in the microwave for 2 minutes, and ta-da! It's all heated up and ready for consumption! The bread itself is soft, and inside, there are slices of pepperoni. My favorite was the Pepperoni & Hot Cheese (uses pepper jack), as it has a nice kick that complements well to the meat slices. Michael, one of the friendly bakers, greeted me right away and took down my order - I handed over the cash (I highly recommend in paying with cash) and in a few seconds, he came back with the items with change! It was that easy! This is definitely a nice little gem in Morgantown, and I highly recommend in coming here to get a taste of the Pepperoni Rolls! :D +Julia's Pepperoni Rolls! +Pepperoni & Hot Cheese +fresh & freshly-frozen rolls offered! +actual bakery - open to the public! +highly recommend in paying with cash! +ask for Michael :D +plenty of street parking

I love the vanilla with chocolate frosting. The cake is super airy and the frosting is sooo chocolatey! I'm originally from Pittsburgh and as a cupcake connoisseur, I have tried many cupcake selections in the area including Bethel Bakery and Vanilla Pastry Studio. I can honestly say that the Cupcakerie's creations top anything other cupcake I've ever eaten! Skip the grocery store cupcakes and go here instead. My only complaint is that they have a ton of flavors on the website, but there are only 5 or 6 offered everyday in the store. Also, their Red Velvet is NOT traditional. It's like a cherry flavored cake with almond icing... Meh. Other than that, you need to go and try them. You will not be disappointed. Side note: Although they are closed on Sundays, Gloria Jean's Coffee Shop in the Morgantown Mall always has a small selection of the Cupcakerie's Cupcakes, and they are most often not flavors that you typically see in the store.

The shop was very clean and smelled delicious the moment you walk through the door. The lady working the counter greeted me the moment I walked in. I told her it was my first time visiting, and she welcomed me, asking if I had any questions. I asked for her recommendations, and she gave me a few of her favorites. I will be very honest, I am typically a Krispy Kreme or Country Style Donuts kind of guy. I don't step outside of those realms. I am very particular about my donuts. However, I am so glad I stopped by here. I ordered the Raspberry Truffle and Blueberry Cheesecake (I think). The donut was very, how do I describe the texture, it was a cake-like donut. Very fine and crumbly texture. It literally melts in your mouth. I wasn't a fan of the icing on the Blueberry Cheesecake; however, the Raspberry Truffle's toppings were absolutely delicious. Although I didn't like the icing on the Blueberry Cheesecake donut, the donut itself was absolutely delicious, which is the reason this rating remains five stars. I would absolutely recommend this place, and if I'm ever in the area, I'll be back for sure! Head over to the website, the pictures of the donuts are literally how the donuts looked in person!

They had other very delicious beverages that I also probably would have very much enjoyed if I hadn't impulsively blurted out the fish thing I saw.
