It's been a while since I've been on a horse and this was the first ride for my kiddo. Before I forget to mention the barn is equipped with helmets if you would like one which is so awesome! After filling out the paperwork they give a brief tutorial before your ride on how to stop/start/ guide the horse to do what you want which was really helpful. The horses were so sweet and gentle my daughter rode Simon, I rode Rusty, and my husband got Bella. The trail was great a little narrow at times between trees but the horses definitely kept us on track and going smoothly. My husband ended up getting the sweetest horse who loved to stop every couple of minutes for snacks so every time we looked back he was a bit behind us lol! It made for a great moment that we will remember and laugh about for years to come! Our guide was very knowledgeable and great with my daughter who despite being nervous beforehand rode like she had been riding her whole life! Proud mama moment for sure!! Their barn cat greeted us when we got back and was all purrs & brushing up against our legs such a little cutie (check out the picture). We got to meet all of the other horses and fed our horses a treat in their buckets after the ride! We had a fantastic time and we really enjoyed the horses and the beautiful scenery! Our daughter has only taken lessons for a year but she has really excelled with their training! Perhaps the facilities aren't as new and pretty as some of the North Fulton stables, but I can definitely say her Camp experiences were night and day from one in Milton (2010, very basic) versus Falcon Ridge (2011, more fun for her, more in-depth lessons). Looking forward to seeing her continue to learn and do more in the future! Big fan!

Watched my 8 year old ride in the covered arena on a rainy day - an accident waiting to happen. I…read morecould hardly watch. The horse she was on seemed distracted and she couldn't control it. Her young "trainer" just kept yelling at her to use her legs, but I could tell she was frightened and didn't know what that meant. The part of the covered arena she was using wasn't entirely covered, so the rain was still getting in, there was lots of mud that her pony did not want to go in, and yet she was with 3 other riders who were having their own lesson using one jump in this tiny area. One of the other girls almost ran into my daughter and then her trainer yelled at her! There were 8 other riders, with 2 different trainers who, maybe because they owned their own horses, were lucky to have the rest of the covered arena although there were lots of horses and riders charging around. What a mess! 12 horses, 12 riders, 3-4 trainers, parents everywhere - chaos. Maybe this place is ok when it's sunny and they can use different riding areas, but things seemed dangerous - I wasn't the only parent that was anxious! Finding somewhere else to ride.

She has a lot of patience and is positive and really understands kids like my daughter who have anxiety or ADHD or just need someone who understands. It's refreshing to have someone who is positive and caring and doesn't yell. The other trainers at the barn are equally amazing. It doesn't matter if you are 5 or 65, you will be treated with kindness and respect and learn so much! This barn is well maintained and the horses are well taken care of. They are always glad to see all the people. This barn is like a family. You should definitely come to be part of it!

I recently moved my horse to Jaid stables at the beginning of September. It has been an amazing month with top notch care and attention to my horse. They love her like their own and I never have to worry about not being able to make it to the barn some days because I know that she is getting top notch care. In addition to their 5 star boarding, the trainers are top notch! My horse receives training rides once a week and is already showing vast improvements on the flat and over fences. My weekly lessons are always engaging and present new but feasible challenges that help me grow and become a better rider. Although I am not showing at the moment all of their riders have demonstrated top placings at local and A rated shows. I can't wait to start competing with Jaid next season!

I went with a group of friends and we had a fun time. There is signage as you get close to the facility directing you where to go. They also have someone guiding you to the appropriate parking. For the charity event, we had a golf cart drive us up to the main area, but it is a really short walk so not needed. The main area provides a great view of the polo field.
