As boarders we paid $1,000 a month to be at this facility because the trainer there is awesome! When boarders started to complain to this owner about the terrible quality of hay that was littered with briars and trash like coke cans and plastic bags, all this owner can do is yell and berate the staff as if they can control the quality of hay this owner will only buy from his "good ole boy" friends for a cheap price is just unacceptable. The wonderful man this owner had working for him cleaning stalls and doing handy work, was drug off the tractor and yelled at by this owner. You might be ok at this facility as long as you don't complain or expect anything from this owner. If you do, you've been warned.

This is a small horse rescue located in Ball Ground, Georgia. They rescue horses who have been…read moreabandoned and neglected. They currently have five horses which look great considering their background (all were malnourish due to neglect). I volunteered there for the first time yesterday. These guys do a great job helping these horses.

I go by this place multiple times a day. Every single time the mini horses are in a little dirt…read morepatch, and I mean little, covered in red dirt, never moving, because there really isn't any where to go, looking absolutely miserable. The regular sized horses have this huge field and are even covered in blankets when it rains. I've never seen a blanket on those mini horses and it could be pouring. I'm finally writing something because it's so depressing driving by this stable. I feel so sad for those tiny horses that they don't seem to care about.
