I found out about Hidden Oaks while I was searching for a riding lesson for my daughter. My kids…read morehave taken lessons at The Chastain Park in Buckhead and at The Equestrian Reserve in Alpharetta. I was looking for something closer and this seemed perfect. Until I got in touch with Susie. It started going south from that moment on. It started with no response to calls or voicemails. After sending her a text message I get a curt response about having no availability in summer. After inquiring about the availability for Fall - and another follow up message - I get a spot being told that there will be no trial class and that we need to commit to weekly lessons. Which I did. Here is what was shocking. We drive up to the school and call her from the gates. She instructs me to take the first right. I go in - but miss the first right (because it is not a paved road and it did not seem right to take that right :). "Ms." Susie waits for me at the end of this drive way - with hands on her hips - she SCOLDS me saying " I TOLD YOU TO TAKE THE FIRST RIGHT. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST RIGT". I still can't believe that I got scolded that way by an adult!! I can't imagine how she might be teaching the kids!! I told her that she is an incredibly rude person and drove back home. I am just shocked at the fact that a business can run despite such a low quality. Very disappointing.

My sister and daughter are avid horsebackriders from Sweden, own several, and have ridden in competition successfuly. THEY LOVED IT! Nestled in a rolling hills, forest setting, this home is one of several elite estates that make up the equestrian culture Milton GA is known for. The first level, two bedroom suite is meticulously decorated with a casual comfortable feel ... feels very happy and joyful. Open, well equipped kitchen / dining / living great room is a great place to relax. Of course, the getaway is memorable from the incredibly beautiful horses that make this their home too. Breathtakingly majestic creatures to watch as they are on stage in these active working equestrian stables. The owner PB is a delightful and accommodating host. We'd highly recommend this respite sanctuary.

Our daughter has only taken lessons for a year but she has really excelled with their training! Perhaps the facilities aren't as new and pretty as some of the North Fulton stables, but I can definitely say her Camp experiences were night and day from one in Milton (2010, very basic) versus Falcon Ridge (2011, more fun for her, more in-depth lessons). Looking forward to seeing her continue to learn and do more in the future! Big fan!

Watched my 8 year old ride in the covered arena on a rainy day - an accident waiting to happen. I…read morecould hardly watch. The horse she was on seemed distracted and she couldn't control it. Her young "trainer" just kept yelling at her to use her legs, but I could tell she was frightened and didn't know what that meant. The part of the covered arena she was using wasn't entirely covered, so the rain was still getting in, there was lots of mud that her pony did not want to go in, and yet she was with 3 other riders who were having their own lesson using one jump in this tiny area. One of the other girls almost ran into my daughter and then her trainer yelled at her! There were 8 other riders, with 2 different trainers who, maybe because they owned their own horses, were lucky to have the rest of the covered arena although there were lots of horses and riders charging around. What a mess! 12 horses, 12 riders, 3-4 trainers, parents everywhere - chaos. Maybe this place is ok when it's sunny and they can use different riding areas, but things seemed dangerous - I wasn't the only parent that was anxious! Finding somewhere else to ride.
