We had really good time Penny did a great job giving out lots of great history. I would definitely do this again.

We had a great time. Very informative and fun. Penny does a great job sharing many interesting stories about the town. Highly recommend.

Ghost tour. This is a great way to learn about the history of the city and be thrilled by some of the supernatural reportings. Jeremy, our guide, was a very good storyteller. His interest in the history as well as his own experience living in the town and making friends with the locals give him a level of authenticity. The walking pace is leisurely and we were able to visit several important sites. The tour starts at 8 pm. As the tour progressed and it got darker, it became more spooky. Jeremy admitted we were slightly ahead of schedule and we ended about about 10 pm. You can order tickets online or about 15 minutes before the tour starts.

I've been on a number of walking tours of towns, ghost and otherwise and the Ghosts and Graveyards tour in Dahlonega delivers! I prefer the historic with a good paranormal story and he was wonderful! Two hours plus which was a great value and the walk was studded with tidbits of information along the way. I want to go back for a day walking tour to see the cemetery properly as there are some interesting looking grave markers and it looks to be well maintained. The houses are beautiful and the town rich with Civil War and gold mining tales. Come dressed comfortably and with comfortable footwear, because you hoof it! Also you meet on the second floor of a building adjacent to the main square down from the Fudge factory towards the supply store, not the Crimson Moon. Parking is free all over the square and in lots situated right off the square.

This was our first ghost tour and we LOVED it! We almost didn't go due to rainy weather... So glad we sucked it up and just threw on rainboots and grabbed Umbrellas. Our guide Jeremy was a book of knowledge on the history of Dahlonega! Not only that but he made it interesting. I can't stop talking about our tour and highly recommend it to everyone! On a side note... We took pics at only one location. After checking today we noticed a blue orb in each pic! Eek!

One of the best ghost tours we have been on. Jeremy was a great tour guide and had one of the most stories to tell than some of the other tours we have been on. He was really great in moving the tour and in some places having the group sit in spots and tell stories where he was able to be heard by everyone. He took us to some cool old buildings and spooky houses and the best was the cemetery we got to walk through and hear stories. Even my 8 and 10 year old boys loved it and said it was one of their favorites. I'd give him more stars if we could. Definitely a 5 star review for this company.

What could be better after a hike on beautiful Yonah Mountain than a visit to nearby Yonah Mountain…read moreVineyards? A lot of things as it turned out. Although the setting is admittedly spectacular, acres of hilly vineyards with views of the mountain behind, and the patio was certainly fancy, the tables each with fire pits in the center providing cheery warmth, the tasting experience itself was sub-par and overpriced. It lacked the authentic feel I've seen in other wineries and seems more of a tourist destination. First thing I noticed is the shockingly high tasting fee of $35 for a flight of 4 2-ounce pours of their choice. No substitutions allowed! Either these are some spectacularly great wines or this is a major rip-off. I passed. But since I was here I decided to have a glass. I got one of their estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. It was around $16 but since I was here. It was good, but certainly not worth the $48 they charge for a bottle. For the $35 do you get individual attention, descriptions from the bartender about the wines and about their winery? No. You get 4 labeled glasses to take back to your table. Not worth it. Find another place less touristy, more authentic. That shouldn't be hard. There are like 65 wineries in the area!

"Wine enters through the mouth, Love, the eyes…read more I raise the glass to my mouth, I look at you, I sigh." William Butler Yeats With the beautiful backdrop of the rolling hills of North Georgia, Yonah Mountains Vineyards delivers real wine and real romance. Whether it's for an afternoon date, or a full out wedding among the rows of vines, it's hard not to feel love in the air. Great outdoor seating, both covered and uncovered, place you right above the beautiful vineyard and allow you to take it all in. Yonah Mountains Vineyards separates itself from the others by providing familiar wines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay etc as opposed to the traditional Muscadine wines of the south. The wine itself is decent, but definitely not near the quality of the west coast wines, but all were enjoyable. I particularly liked their Genesis 12, a red wine blend, and their Viognier, an impressive white. Wine flights are around $60 with a choice between white, red, or mixed. Bottles run around $40-100. A little pricey for the product, but then again, it's the whole experience that you are buying, and it's money well spent. Yonah Mountain Vineyards strikes the perfect balance between classy and casual. You'll be just as comfortable in jeans as in a tux or a horrid bridesmaid dress. Cheers!

It was amazing! We met near DT Athens, got on the bus, popped a beer, and headed toward ATL. Kevin gave us a quick, but informative look at the history of beer and gave us an idea of what we were getting into and how many different beers we would get to try. Then a little socializing and meeting the rest of the group. We visited Red Brick, ate at Five Seasons West with a beer flight, Monday Night, and ended at Sweetwater. You think that that is a lot, but we rolled right off of the bus, Kevin had already checked us in at Red Brick, so we went straight to the bar, got a beer, and although "So You Think You Can Dance" was filming at the brewery(which closed it off to the general public), we got to go back into the working brewery and hang out while we sampled their lineup of brews. Then, a fill-up on our way back to the bus(apparently it's legal since he has a limo license) before we headed to 5 Seasons West. Kevin lined up a flight of 6 of their beers and we ordered food and filled up to prepare for the rest of the day. Picked up a few beers at Hop City(right next door) and got on the bus to Monday Night Brewing. This is where the VIP really kicked in, there must have been 75 people waiting to get in, but we walked right around and into the tasting room, not going to say we were the most popular people as we walked thru the line, but they should have come with us. Lines were long to get to the beer, but if you stay with your group, get in line, get beer, and get back ing line with your group as you drink, you will be good. Try to find the MNB tour guide named "Duck" he give the best tours. Try the Serrano Pepper IPA, it will blow your mind. Another Serrano IPA for the bus, and we are on to Sweetwater, since we took our time getting the group together, Kevin called his girl at Sweetwater and lined it up so that we could stay a little later after they kicked everyone else out. Got to enjoy some tasty beers there with Taylor the Tour Girl(yes guys, she is smokin' hot and know her sh!t about beer). So now, it's time to head back to the ATH with a pretty good buzz and don't have to worry about driving at all. I cannot wait until the next trip. I've been to all of these breweries before, but it was completely different in a group like this.
