Stumbled upon this hidden gem! I'm a very picky pho eater and this place is now on my top 5. Very savory broth and the brisket was tender. Wife got the short-rib pho, she was impressed with the generous portion and flavor. Her favorite was the BBQ pork banh mi we shared. There are four spots I have been to in town for Pho. The one off Boulder, Palm, Highland and Pho Zone. Of the 4, this is my 3rd favorite. Pho Highland off Boulder being the best, number 2 found on palm by Jenny's dinner, Pho Zone and then the one on highland. Here is the thing about Pho Zone, the ambience is amazing, the service great, and the selection of things to add fantastic. The only problem is they are stingy. I went in today got myself a number 9 which comes with three selections of meat and tendon. I even mentioned what I really cared about was the tendon and saw one of the seasoned employees give me a concerned look. I quickly found out why. Only one piece of tendon in the whole large bowl, a pitiful amount of garnish even less than the Highland spot. I told one of the veteran servers about this to which she said, "Well, there is a lot of meat." This made me laugh seeing I have experienced the best in town as far as quantity and quality in concerned. I should have just gone there but wanted to try a new spot. Cant give them 1 star, that honor is for the place off Highland, but do yourself a favor and drive down the road to Palm or Boulder and go get number 1 or number 2 best in town and skip this place. read more

We arrived around 7:30 pm on a Saturday, and even though there was a line, it moved surprisingly fast. Once seated, we ordered the Pho, and wow--it did not disappoint! The broth was rich and flavorful, packed with tender cuts of beef, and they didn't hold back on the meat like some other places nearby. The rice noodles were cooked just right, and the portion was generous. I enjoyed every bite until the bowl was clean! Plus, the prices are super reasonable for the quality and amount of food. First time having pho and i couldn't have picked a better place. Inside it is very clean and nicely decorated with various tv's and light music playing. The cashier was very friendly and took my order right away. I ordered a chicken pho and an order of spring rolls to go. My order was made quickly and I made it back home in under 10 minutes. The pho broth was "thick" I've had a lot of pho all over and this one was terrible. I am not sure what additive they're putting in the broth but it's awful. They're thickening it with something and it made my gf and I disgusted. With pho the whole point is simmering the broth for at the very least several hours. This broth was simmered for maybe an hour and more than likely blended with agar agar or some other thickener. Don't eat here they're disrespecting pho as a whole. Other reviews say the flavor was "off" so I know it's not just me. In addition to the broth being low quality I ordered the large with only rare steak and got a grand total of 9 pieces of thinly sliced steak. I ordered #1 Pho and steam rice with steak for my son, he ate a whole big plate and steak was excellent. Unfortunately, the shrimp fried rice was a major disappointment. Most menu items here are priced $1-$2 higher than at other restaurants, which I wouldn't mind if the food were delicious. The fried rice lacked flavor, appeared half-broken, and had the smallest portion I have ever seen. The pork vermicelli noodle dish also lacked flavor, with the only notable quality being its sweetness. If you are searching for a good, tasty Vietnamese restaurant, this place does not meet the mark.
