Bun Bo hue had a good spicy beef flavor. Surprisingly, this is the first time the BBH soup didn't come with pork blood (not that I like it but I thought it was standard). The noodles were overcooked and too soft. Beef was very tender though. Pho (#P14) was good but a bit salty. Good amount of meat. The noodles weren't overcooked and al dente. Their pho has definitely improved over the years and I would say right now their broth has the best flavor profile with perfectly chewy, hot noodles. This place is definitely the best Vietnamese and pho place in Santa Clarita for sure.... Negatives: -Price, it is slightly overpriced compared to Vietnamese shops in other areas. Though for being a part of LA it's not too uncommon. Hopefully, the economy will get better and eating out becomes more affordable. Positives: -taste, we got pho brisket/flank. The broth was excellent, and definitely ask for chili oil. We also got pho ap chao (stir fry). The noodle was crispy and chewy and the sauce was to die for. She flatly refused our request to hold the sauce on a menu item that contained allergens. We both ordered the P1 and it was honestly one of the best bowls of pho we've had in a long time. The broth was rich and comforting and the portions were generous and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but it made sense once we tasted the food. Even with the rush, the staff stayed friendly and worked so hard to keep everything moving. You could tell they were doing their absolute best and I really appreciated how gracious they were despite the crowd. We waited a little but it was completely worth it. It was one of those meals that just hits perfectly when the weather is chilly. We also got the egg rolls, and they were so good. Crispy, tasty, and a great mix with the pho.
