Comin' in clutch on the holidays. NOTE: On Sundays, staff take a very much needed lunch break from 4-5pm. Please respect their need to take that break in-between lunch + dinner services. Sometimes, you have decide to do something lowkey for Easter (perhaps you have something bigger planned before, after, or nothing at all, & those all all perfectly fine). Mom + Pop shops like these (especially Asian restaurants) or so incredibly underrated on American holidays. As much as I want to "gatekeep", I do want these businesses to thrive. Let me just say that Siam Rice 1 came in so incredibly clutch on Easter. A little bit of an update: If you "check-in" on Yelp & show your server, they'll give you a free Thai Iced tea. You can't beat free (granted, I'd happily pay full-price for one). FOOD: Shrimp Fried Rice - 8.9 / 10 I was taken aback by how incredibly moist their fried rice was. I almost always order steamed rice to accompany my entrées, but we wanted to mix things up. Boy am I glad that we did. I would gladly eat this dish by itself. That said, this is spectacular as a side dish. It definitely ups your overall meal experience. The shrimp were quite large + plump. (I have to admit, when I want to spoil my 2 cats, I'll treat them to cut-up shrimp from my leftovers & this is without their favorite food). Chicken Pad See Ew - 8.8 / 10 I almost always order Shrimp as my go-to protein for my noodles. Chicken was a nice alternative. It was plentiful & I appreciate that they use big slices of tender, flavorful white meat chicken (breast). Spice Eggplant with Beef (Extra, extra spicy) - 9.2 / 10 I always order my spicy eggplant as "extra, extra, extra spicy" knowing full well that it will turn out close to the upper mild level. However, they took me for my word this time & really delivered. My dish was littered in countless minced Thai red chilis along with the usual sliced green That chilis. I can't remember the last time that a spicy restaurant dish game me a run for my money. I had to down 6 full cups of beverages. But boy was it worth it. I am so finally happy to know that Siam Rice 1 will not hesitate to accommodate my rather challenging request for "extra, extra, extra spicy". Beverage: Thai Iced Tea - 9.3 / 10 I admittedly am not the biggest Thai Iced Tea fan. That said, theirs is delicious. The size alone is good enough for 2 portions (at least for me). The tea flavor is pronounced, but the condensed mild really helps cut the intensity. Sweet, but a welcome sweet. Biggest shout-out to Tonya (Tonyaluck) for being the loveliest server. She is the warmest person & her hospitality could not be outmatched. There was literally no request that I could make that she could not accommodate. She went well above & beyond. She is the personification of hospitality. Look out for her. She is amazing, lovely, & the sweetest human being. Again, they definitely deserve your business (phone orders over 3rd party delivery so that they don't have to spilt their profits). But do them one better by actually dining-in. The Orange chicken was fully dripping with orange sauce that just about melted on the chicken. The chicken pad thai was soft and a bit crunchy on the outside. Siam rice has the best orange chicken. We ordered right after they opened for dinner for delivery. Earlier than we would want it because we know it's Mother's Day. It took three hours for our food to be delivered cold. We called at hour two and were put on hold just to be told order was on the way. Tried calling at almost hour three to cancel and couldn't. Phone was "busy" Then got cold food. I ordered food to go on time it took about 20 minutes to prepare. The order food was piping hot and I've been in the restaurant for a while, but they have totally redone the interior. It has more of an open seating area instead of a lot of small booths and it looks really nice and modern and clean. Staff is always friendly and they believe more of their orders are to go than they are going in looking forward to getting home and trying the food. read more

Our waitress rudely rushed us the entire time we were there. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. She charged us for an additional side of rice that we did not ask for AND there was a hair in our soup. After bringing out our food, she immediately placed the bill on the table and asked for our cards. While we were still eating, she began packing up our food without asking if we were finished. I forgot to take photos that would do the food justice, because this place is that good. My party of four ordered the Kung Pao Chicken(spicy), the Chicken Pad Thai, and the Orange Chicken, and I would say we scraped the plate off, but their servings are so generous that we luckily had more to spare (lunch is now planned for tomorrow!!!) Delivery time was roughly 70 min., which I thought was excessive since most of the food was likely prepared already. Even if not, when it got here it was just warm and anything that should have been crispy: Wonton, Crispy Trout, wasnt. Like it had been sitting around awhile. Why? My guess is the order sat on the counter waiting until the delivery guy had enough orders to finally leave for delivery. Maybe the food IS good at this resturant, but its ho-humm at best for delivery. We absolutely won't be doing delivery again.. I can tell when a Thai chef made my food or not plus knowing me, I know my Thai dishes so well and I guess their food is catered to non Asians so they don't really know what a Thai dish should taste like.
